Love Asana and its detail

What do you like best about the product?
I love how detailed the software is. As a social media manager, I'm able to communicate effortlessly with our designer and can let him know how high of a priority a task is. I can re-assign to others and it's nice to be able to complete an entire project within a single task.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes gets confusing with all of the teams my company has internally. Also, everything essentially has to go through the Project Manager in order for it to be successful or else it will get confusing. You also can't multi-assign to two people so only one person can have ownership at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of our agency projects go through Asana. From adding copy to a landing page to creating coded pages, we work through Asana.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have a clear owner of the product!

What do you like best about the product?
Asana has helped us over the past two years with engaging collaboratively and collectively to ensure we get task done on time and fully!
What do you dislike about the product?
The option to specialize and make something our own is extra expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to collectively work together with ease using Asana, and its user interface has easily aided in our project completion.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're thinking about using Asana, stop thinking and pull the trigger. It will pay for itself!

multiple platforms. APP has a good experience. Facilitates team work

The price of professional version. sometimes, update page takes some time to load. Experience with Trello is sometimes better than with this solution.

- Great looking and neat interface

- Versatility, can add projects, categories, sub-tasks, etc
- Amazing sharing and collaboration capabilities

- It is not exactly cheap if you are a startup like ours, bootstrapped I mean

What do you like best about the product?
I like the way that anyone can assign work to you and you can pick who can view it. Getting assigned work with a due date eliminates the pressure of completing it in a rush because you didn't know it was needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the way that you cannot submit pdf or photos and you can just comment. If that ability was added asana could be used for more. If there were more things we could do instead of just commenting, everything about asana would be perfect.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how powerful Asana is. Our company uses it for tasks and project management but also for other processes like onboarding, learning and development, and CRM-type tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana isn't the most user-friendly software especially if you layer multiple processes onto it. A recent employee survey surfaced Asana usage as a dissatisfier for many employees.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps coordinate tasks in many different departments and gives visibility to projects and recurring tasks. In some instances, it replaces buying a bunch of additional licenses for other software. Manager have increased visibility, and we have actionable data.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that asana has a streamlined ability to view tasks, color-code them and assign them to team members. I like that it’s easy to communicate directly within the task.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t really dislike anything. I think it’s easy to use once you have all the features figured out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving my teams miscommunication issues and task status issues. As a project manager it’s a very useful tool for staying in front of your workload.

It’s great for small teams.

What do you like best about the product?
We can sort marketing orders that come in through Google forms for all of our team to see and prioritize.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing is projects show up very small on the calendar so I have to expand the view, but there are other views to work around this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We receive 5-15 marketing orders from agents a day, so we're able to keep track of all of our orders in one place. We can also sort by project, due date, priority, status, view a full calendar, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
It is extremely robust. Asana can do everything any other project management tool can do and then some.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is expensive and you have to pay per user.

Increasing visibility on projects and accountability on deadlines.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the various dashboards/organization - for instance, I can assign things to myself or others, and categorize these assignments under specific clients if I want to. I can then look at my to do list as a whole, or my to do list for each client. This really helps streamline my day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I think there might be too many bells and whistles - I also don't like that sometimes I get emails for Asana related tasks and other times I don't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This helps us assign tasks in an orderly way without the danger of missing an email or call. It's almost impossible to forget a task because you have the exact date due and the exact person who assigned it is "following" the task to get any updates
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it! It's like an interactive to do list that everyone on your team can access. Great for small businesses and remote teams.
