Efficient and intuitive project management tool for teams of any size.

  • July 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is incredibly user-friendly and flexible, making it easy to manage multiple projects and track progress in real time. The interface is intuitive, and new users can get up to speed quickly. I really appreciate how customizable the workflows are, allowing for both simple task tracking and more complex project planning. Integration with other tools (like Slack, Google Drive, and Zapier) has been seamless, and the mobile app keeps me connected on the go. Collaboration is smooth, with clear communication and task assignments, making teamwork much more organized and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, the number of features can be overwhelming, especially for new users or smaller teams that don’t need all the advanced options. Customization is great, but sometimes setting up automations or more complex workflows can require a bit of trial and error. The free plan is limited, so to really unlock the best features you need to upgrade. Reporting and analytics could also be more robust out of the box, especially for tracking productivity trends across projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me solve the challenge of keeping all my projects, tasks, and team communication organized in one place. Before using Asana, I struggled with tracking who was responsible for what, meeting deadlines, and staying updated on project changes. Now, I can easily see the status of each task, assign work, set deadlines, and communicate directly within the platform. This has made my workflow much more efficient, reduced the risk of things falling through the cracks, and saved me a lot of time. Asana has also helped my team stay aligned and accountable, so we’re able to get more done together with less stress.

My Brief Asana Interaction

  • July 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Tried Asana briefly. Clean interface, easy to pick up, and great for task visibility. Templates are solid and the timeline view is a win. That said, It can feel a little feature-heavy out of the gate, and notifications get noisy fast if you're not intentional. Some integrations I’d want more depth on, especially for scaling ops.
What do you dislike about the product?
Promising first impression, but I'd need more time to see if it can handle complex workflows without becoming another thing to manage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What Asana Solves (and How It Helps Me)
Scattered tasks → Everything’s in one place. I’m not chasing info across Slack, email, or sticky notes.

Lack of ownership → Clear assignees and deadlines. Less micromanaging, more accountability.

Inconsistent execution → Templates keep projects repeatable and tight.

No visibility → I can see what’s on track, what’s blocked, and where to shift resources—fast.

• Workflow Automation: The platform offers customizable automation via rules, triggers, and templates. Routine processes, such as triaging requests or assigning tasks based on criteria, are handled with minimal manual intervention.
• Integration Ecosystem: Asana integrates natively with a wide range of business applications, including Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams, and more, supporting seamless information flow across tools.
• Goal and Reporting Tools: Built-in features for setting objectives and tracking progress make it easy to align daily work with strategic goals. Reporting dashboards and workload management tools provide actionable insights into project health and team capacity.
• Role-Based Access and Permissions: The system supports granular user roles and permissions, ensuring that sensitive information is only accessible to relevant team members.
• Onboarding and Training Resources: Asana Academy and in-app guides provide structured learning paths, covering everything from basic navigation to advanced workflow design.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Asana is powerful, the abundance of features and configuration options can create a steep learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
he ability to standardize workflows through templates and automation has led to more consistent execution of recurring processes, while integration with other business tools has minimized context switching and manual data entry. Asana’s reporting and goal-tracking capabilities have made it possible to connect daily activities to broader organizational objectives, supporting more informed decision-making and resource allocation.

Organizes Our Team Beautifully and Effectively

  • July 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Asana is not only a personal tool but a corporate tool. It keeps each person on track with their goals and deadlines, and then keeps us all accountable to each other. It has been a gamechanger when we are in meetings, to easily have Asana open in order to, in real time, add tasks and to-do's for each person as we discuss things. Also, we can use Asana to check in on each other's progress on corporate projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that when our whole team had to change emails because of a type of corporate rebranding, we could not change our emails within Asana. We are having to use our old emails in order for us not to lose our history and traction of where we were. We could have easily started over but we weren't willing to do that. We reached out to customer service and because our new emails are just gmails, they couldn't help us change them either.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accountability within individuals and team projects, personal task reminders and scheduling.

Project Manager Review on Asana

  • July 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a Project Manager, I've used a number of platforms to keep teams aligned and work moving forward, but Asana stands out as one of the most intuitive and effective tools I've worked with. What I love the most about Asana is how easy it is to visualize workflows, assign tasks, and track progress across multiple projects. Asana gives me the flexibility to build timelines, set dependencies, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. The customization options are excellent, from list views to calendar timelines, it can adapt to each individual's preferred view. The built in integrations with our other products are amazing too, being able to integrate Asana with Slack, Gmail, HubSpot, and the other tools we use has been incredible helpful from a project management perspective.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Asana is a great tool, there is a learning curve for new users. Additionally, just like many other products, there are limitations on each payment tier which can be frustrating. The support from Asana is not the best, typically it has been very slow when I have put in a request. There is also not an offline mode which is frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana streamlines collaboration by providing a centralized platform where teams can clearly see what needs to be done, who's responsible, and when it's due. It can help eliminate confusion around task ownership, educes email overload, and keeps everyone aligned with real-time updates, timelines and priorities. Asana helps teams stay organized, hit deadlines, and communicate more effectively by turning scattered to do lists into actionable and trackable plans.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It brings everything into one place, making it easy to track progress, and collaborate with teammates in real time.
