Effective Task Management, Best for Structured Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Asana makes it easy to organize work and keep everyone aligned. The ability to break projects into clear tasks and subtasks, assign owners, set due dates, and track progress in one place really improves visibility and accountability
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana can feel overwhelming at times, especially for new users, due to the number of features and configuration options. Some useful functionality is locked behind higher-priced plans, which can be limiting for smaller teams
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the problem of scattered work and unclear ownership by centralizing tasks, deadlines, and project updates in one place. It reduces reliance on long email threads and ad-hoc messages by making responsibilities and progress visible to everyone. This helps me stay organized, prioritize work more effectively, and collaborate better with my team, resulting in fewer missed deadlines and smoother project execution.
Asana: Essential for Staying Organized and Productive
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a game-changer. As a development professional at a small non-profit, I can't imagine how we would stay on top of all of the moving pieces without Asana. Before my email, it is my go-to in the morning to see what I need to do that day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't experience many downsides to using Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that Asana solves is that it allows our team to collaborate across departments, and it benefits us to have it because it keeps us incredibly organized and well-connected to each other.

A Must-Have for Small Business Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Asana keeps everything categorized and curates a list of tasks for each user, helping them stay on track. The rules and scheduling of tasks have been really helpful. I also appreciate the ability to create projects with Asana AI - the AI chat is very helpful to ensure projects meet all the needs and requirements of my team. Switching from Trello to Asana was great for building portfolios and better scheduling to track projects. Once we got the hang of it, setting up portfolios and projects became quick and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scheduling rules for my own tasks has proven difficult. I'd like a way to have all the tasks in the 'My Tasks' area be arranged into sections like 'Do Today,' 'Do this week' or 'Do Later' based on due date. I think having rules that work for that section as a whole would be most helpful. Also the ability to trigger those rules right away when I notice my 'Recently Assigned' section is full.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps maintain project organization, prevent tasks from falling through the cracks, and keep everything categorized. It curates a list of tasks for each user, organizes tasks with rules and scheduling, and the AI chat helps create projects meeting team requirements.
Effortless Automation and Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like the automations and project crossovers in Asana as they reduce repetitive tasks and assignments when projects reach certain stages. I also found the initial setup to be easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would greatly help our team if we could have more than one team member assigned to a task (rather than duplicating or adding them as a collaborator).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves lack of visibility in remote teams, unorganized calendars, and helps with multi-step projects. I like its automations that reduce repetitive tasks at certain project stages.
Keeps Teams Aligned and Projects on Track Effortlessly
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Asana is how clearly it structures work and keeps everyone aligned. It gives great visibility into priorities, deadlines, and ownership, which makes collaboration much more efficient
What do you dislike about the product?
some advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans, which can limit full functionality for growing teams. Additionally, notifications can become overwhelming in complex projects if they’re not carefully managed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana addresses the challenge of disorganized work and limited visibility among projects and teams. By bringing together tasks, deadlines, and responsibilities in a single platform, it helps minimize miscommunication and prevents missed follow-ups. For me, this leads to better organization, increased accountability, and greater efficiency. I am able to handle several initiatives at once, set clearer priorities, and keep projects progressing according to schedule.

User-Friendly and Feature-Rich—A Seamless Addition to My Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
I love the user-friendliness of Asana. It's relatively simple to understand and use. The "rules" feature is also really nice as it can streamline certain aspects of my duties and what I need to finish in a timely manner. I also enjoy the calendar feature, since it lays out the timeline of certain projects. I really enjoy the template feature for projects too as it cuts down my time on creating new forms. It's great to integrate into my work day and I like that there is the feature to "email" asana to create a task from a certain email, it makes the incorporation and workflow so much easier to use. As someone who is new-ish to this software, I have greatly appreciated it's features and accessibility in my workday.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say that I dislike that you have to add templates to projects individually. There doesn't seem to be a way to add templates to multiple projects at once, which is only a small hindrance. For larger projects/portfolios, I wish there was a way to 'assign' those things to me so they don't slip off my radar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps keep everything clean and organized in a simple way that benefits how I like to work. The customization of Asana is really cool since I can incorporate the processes into how I work. It can be easy to forget tasks if I don't input them somewhere, so creating a process in Asana with projects and portfolios has really helped me pace at work. I feel that I can reasonably accomplish more work and keep better track of it than if I wasn't using asana.
