Great for Project Management, But Too Many Viewing Options
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is great for project management. It reminds me a lot of what Trello was, but it has more of a corporate feel. I love that there's so many intergrations with Slack and other software to keep track of everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that there's so many ways to view projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the ability to keep track of multiple projects.
Customizable Task Management with Great Collaboration, Needs Better Daily View
What do you like best about the product?
I like the customization of how to organize and arrange tasks. I like that you can collaborate with a team and assign tasks, add priority level, and I love the description feature where I can add any details or hyperlinks affiliated with the task. I also love that it can help to track all of the things you've accomplished.
What do you dislike about the product?
The display of tasks can get a little word heavy at times. I like that you can hide completed tasks and that you can view upcoming tasks, but I wish there was a way to view tasks that are due today. Or "due to this week" to help me better plan my workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A place to keep track of to-dos and categorize them in a way that makes sense. Also a place to collaborate with my team on who's doing what and when.
Asana Makes Task Management Effortless and Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
The best aspect of Asana is how easy and straightforward it is to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
One aspect I dislike is that tasks do not have ticket numbers assigned to them. This makes it challenging to locate a specific task when needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana addresses the challenge of project collaboration. When a team of five people is working on a project, each member is assigned their tasks within Asana, which helps everyone clearly understand their responsibilities. Additionally, the platform offers a priority feature, allowing users to check the priority of any task and plan their workflow in advance.
All-in-One Project Management—Powerful Yet Intimidating at First
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy that all of my workplace functions can me compiled and reviewed in a single place. It makes managing projects a lot easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
The best part is also the scariest part, which is that there are so many functions it may feel imposing to start using. But with requisite trainings, the process is made much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the problem of communication while completing a project with a team that is on different shifts, possible different locations, etc.
Highly Customizable and Collaborative, But Expect a Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
How customizable it is to a variety of projects and tasks. The dependencies and team collaboration tools are great at tasking out complex projects and keeping everyone informed and on schedule
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a significant learning curve when you first start. However, this onboarding training should help demystify how Asana works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing my manager to view the status on projects without needing to have a meeting or one-on-one conversation. Planning projects and ensuring all steps are completed, all documentation is submitted, and all deadlines are met by utilizing Asana's tools is invaluable.
User-Friendly and Simple, But Needs Tab Grouping Feature
What do you like best about the product?
The program itself is very user-friendly and is simple to use. It did not take me long to figure out how it works. Organizing projects and tasks is very simple.
I like how notifications are set up, and it constantly keeps me in the loop. I especially been saved a few times when it notifies me that I left a comment but forgot to post it.

What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I find lacking is the absence of tab grouping. I often have many tabs open while working, and being able to organize them would be very helpful. Without this feature, having too many tabs open at once can become confusing. Additionally, the list of teams on the left side menu bar is difficult to navigate. My company has added me to a large number of teams, so scrolling through the entire list takes much longer than it should. These are minor nitpicks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana simplifies the process of assigning tasks, making it extremely straightforward. It has helped me stay remarkably organized at all times.
Great for Task Tracking, But Lacks Intuitive Design
What do you like best about the product?
A good place to track personal tasks. A decent place to track team tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very user intuitive. Not enough features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's not solving any problems, but it's preventing some... being able to see team tasks and deadlines is helpful, helps keep us on track.
Optimized Project Management with Asana
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Asana offers a very good project management system, which is known for its privacy. The presence of templates makes setting up projects straightforward, enabling me to understand project management better, especially given my different work scopes. The ease of setup is further facilitated by Asana's compatibility with chat programs like Jitsi, allowing seamless collaboration on tasks. I find being able to lay out detailed data plans and being guided properly through different deadlines and target end dates particularly beneficial. Asana fits well with my role as an assistant and a manager, helping my projects stay on track and allowing task assignment without direct intrusion. The ability to keep track of deadlines through timely reminders is another feature I really like. Integration with chat tools further enhances the detailing and explanation of tasks, underscoring how well Asana collaborates with different workflows. It's a product I would continue to purchase because it facilitates smooth team collaboration, assignment, and tracking of tasks effortlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the lack of a voice note or podcast feature in Asana problematic because it would allow me to provide verbal side notes on projects and discuss them more effectively. Having this feature could help me capture my thoughts and progress verbally, which is sometimes more intuitive than writing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Asana organizes my detailed plans, keeps track of deadlines, and allows seamless task delegation, enhancing collaboration and efficiency.
Effortless Task Management and Note-Taking with Asana
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has been one of the most easy to use task management and note taking platform, wherein I can easily assign tasks and also set up reminders and I use it frequently for my data storage and note taking purposes as well. It is very easy to implement and easy to integrate with any Workspace as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike as such in Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to find it very to difficult to manage tasks and assign them and check the status of it in one place, sometimes I used to even miss out on remembering few key details, because of Asana, all my tasks are in line, workflow is set and intact and I don't miss out on any of my deadlines.
Great for Task Clarity, But Takes Time to Learn
What do you like best about the product?
I liked that Asana helped me as an incoming employee to understand what tasks were needed instead of a messy spreadsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
It had a bit of a learning curve as I was not used to the UI, and would usually have communication and task features separate, so it took a bit to adjust but I did like it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I previously used Asana in my TEDxUWA role in 2022, and am now considering it for my own company. I like how it keeps everything in one place and streamlined.
