Enhancing my Productivity using Asana
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use. When you add up tasks it is implemented immediately. The training really helps us navigate Asana and I usually use Asana everyday
What do you dislike about the product?
There are issues to integrate google calendar in Asana
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time Management
Excellent Way to Stay on Task!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is a "one-stop-shop" where I can get a quick bird's eye view of what tasks I need to get done. I can focus on the tasks and not on organizing the tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am just getting started with understanding all of the benefits, but so far it seems like a great platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time saving and prioritizing tasks
Great Project Management and task tracking platform.
What do you like best about the product?
Tracking of tasks in a project is very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user Interface is not the most intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management in the workflow if our primary use for this application.
Asana is helping us all make sense of things!
What do you like best about the product?
A space to throw in all ideas, to-dos, progress, priorities -- assign co-collaborators, move the needle forward! Great UX.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is really on me...but there are so many ways of viewing information that I get a bit lost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sorting and prioritizing ALL the to-dos.
Efficient and Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
Compared to DevOps, I had users actually reporting that they liked Asana more. The interface is easy to use and the portfolio view from the Advanced license is very useful for managers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The management of licenses and multiple divisions could be better, especially if different divisions have different licenses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping keep workers accountable for the work they are doing, and posting progress updates, reducing the time needed for meetings.
It's good, only if you pay
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is one of the easiest project management tools I’ve used. The interface is intuitive, the design is clean, and it’s incredibly simple to get started—even with a team that isn’t super tech-savvy. Compared to other platforms I’ve tried, it strikes a great balance between functionality and user experience, especially for task tracking and collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside is how limited the free version is. Features that are standard on many other platforms—like custom fields, timeline views, or even basic automation—are locked behind a paywall. You’re essentially forced into a paid plan even for basic team needs. On top of that, there’s no option for a single-user paid account, which feels like a major oversight. It’s frustrating for solo operators or freelancers who just need a bit more functionality without paying for a full team plan. Implementation is no easier than the rest, unfortunately. While it is easier to learn on the staff-side, for an operations person setting it up, it is still just as complicated. Customer Support also leaves a lot to be desired. Integration with other apps is incredibly clunky and doesn't work the way you think it would half the time causing a huge learning curve (especially with Slack)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously our team was in silos and this has allowed us to work more cross-functionally easing a lot of our stress points throughout the organizaiton.
User Friendly Software
What do you like best about the product?
I like the visual board where I can see tasks moving from one stage to another. It gives one the motivation to see the tasks to completion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet, I have just to use it to its full potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping me manage day to day tasks that are not necessarily repetitive but also new ones that come up.
Great for getting organised
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy Asana is to use and how smooth it is to navigate around. The system is easy to implement within my day-to-day role. I use it all day for work, checking off my tasks, updating my team with comments on projects and the best thing I love is using the portfolios to keep everything organised.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love it if Asana could come up with a way for tasks to fall into the matching project in my tasks, at the moment this is something I need to do manually. It would be a good time saving exercise to have some automation with that aspect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem Asana is helping with is being able to assign tasks to my colleagues. As a hybrid working company, it's easy to keep on top of what's going on, and being able to assign tasks to my colleagues when there's no time to talk to them really helps.
Great project management
What do you like best about the product?
We use Asana as a project management tool and task manager. The best part is being able to view tasks per client or view by employee. One of the best things is also the integrations with other software so we can automate our tasks from calls directly into asana via zapier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to set a deadline date for a project and then it back date the other tasks with deadlines is what I dislike the most. If we have the same project I'd like to be able to add one date and then all other tasks have their date set
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a remote team we can keep track of tasks in asana and see if we have missed deadlines
