Powerful, data-backed multichannel marketing activation platform

What do you like best about the product?
Data-powered marketing is the rule of the day and Insider, with it’s potent technology, is here to stay. Insider is an able, feature-loaded platform that is a delight to use with its simple interface and intelligent technology. They offer great local support which is of immense value.Their email feature is also easily one of the best performing ones we’ve used, and we’ve seen a high average open rate of 52.89%. I especially like the many options to personalize these emails.

It is also an exceptional customer data platform that segments our audience into a wide range of precise segments that are easy to target, and which result in high conversions. I also really like the simplicity of the panel that displays the results of our campaigns in an easy-to-understand format.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. The emails don’t always display as we formatted them on some devices.
2. Coupon distribution can be improved so users don't need to do manual monitoring every day
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a part of our digital transformation, we decided to take a multichannel approach to our marketing strategy. Using Insider’s CDP, we have brought in all of our channels under one umbrella, and we are able to overlook, edit, track, and compare all our different campaigns easily. We use almost all the features available and are able to offer a wide variety of experiences to our customers using this platform.

Great A/B testing tools and customer support

What do you like best about the product?
We wanted a data-driven approach to quickly test assumptions before developing new features, and Insider's A/B testing tools are exactly what we're looking for. It is a no brainer to use - Insider's tools are straightforward and don't require development work. Once you’ve integrated API, launching a new experiment could be as simple as a few clicks. All you have to do is define your scenarios and goals, confirm use cases and Insider support team will do the heavy lifting. Then you just wait for significance and probablity to tell you the winning variations. I like how Insider gives flexibility and full control of experiments. There are many options available, for example you can define user segment, traffic allocation or display time when designing campaigns. And Insider has the best partner support team - I was impressed by the fast response and the excellent support we have received.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product is great and we're happy with the level of support. We'd like to see more in-depth reporting in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were after a straightforward A/B testing solution since online experiments could be frustrating and time-consuming. With Insider, we've been able to quickly carry out experiments, get a better understanding of user behaviours, and implement our findings in production.

What do you like best about the product?
Without any need for an in-house developer, it's easy to get started on Insider to enhance navigation experience for customers.
- Notify them of price drops, new launches or campaigns via webpush notifications
- Spur urgency to shop with countdown timer or social proof
- Boost conversions with both new or existing users through Spin-the-wheel or voucher pop-ups (optional request for emails)
- Extract customer feedbacks through post-purchase surveys
- Use Smart Recommender to push other products relevant to the categories customers are viewing

These are just a few out of the plethora of useful features within Insider.
Create A/B scenarios and measure performance of clicks and incremental revenue.

Insider also allows you to segment the scenarios based on user behavior, sessions and many more.

Occasionally for big campaigns such as Singles' Day, Insider's development team would collaborate with us to create custom gamification. Great customer support from both dev team and our key account manager.

Another plus point if you're managing multiple regions/brands: Insider saves time by allowing you to duplicate your scenarios to other sites with insider implemented.
What do you dislike about the product?
We do encounter glitches in a few pop-ups where the "X" button could not be closed. This is absolutely common as with other tools by Insider's competitors. Ensure you do your testing extensively in both desktop and mobile browsers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Web push notification gets the word out to more customers who may have visited our site without purchasing. Extra features we wanted on our site without buying separate plugins or custom development such as Social Proof or lead collection pop-ups. Giving users a reason to make repeat purchases through post-sale vouchers. Gamifying and creating personalized shopping experience.

The most welcoming and supportive platform to work with

What do you like best about the product?
Every single person we've met from the Insider team has been so wonderful and supportive. They have made onboarding and the ongoing process super easy. The platform itself if very user friendly and if there is ever any issue their support team turns things around very quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been a couple of small glitches once campaigns are launched but nothing significant or detrimental to our site. The Customer Success manager has always been super supportive in double checking launched campaign performance so any of these issues have been picked up by Insider team rather than our own team so always fixed quickly even though it should have been on us to pick up and fix.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We currently use a very old platform that has a lot of limitations so Insider has helped us with increasing our user engagement and conversions with various different campaigns. We were seeing uplift in the numbers very quickly once launched

Push automation with Insider resulted in a 10% conversion rate

What do you like best about the product?
The mobile app product from Insider is a small but mighty one. It works incredibly well for our business, and we currently run over 15 automation campaigns that cover the most important touchpoints in a customer journey. One such automated campaign for cart abandonment resulted in a conversion rate of 10%, which was a refreshing delight for us to see. It was reassuring to be able to bring back customers after they abandoned their carts and to be able to make sales after they came back. With Insider, we have a clear plan for going forward to achieve our goals for this year, and it’s an exciting journey that we are a part of.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app push sometimes has deliverability issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Insider has been a great solution to help us automate campaigns designed to boost registrations and reduce drop-offs. Using its deep segmentation abilities, we have been able to target users more effectively with highly relevant content in the campaigns which have proven successful in bringing back users to our website, also directly leading to an increase in conversions.

Make it easier with Insider

What do you like best about the product?
Insider makes it possible to modify your website without any complicated implementations - smart recommenders work perfectly and do their job. Additionally, Insider has a tool to create newsletters which is very intuitive. You can also add banners, pop-ups and more! Finally, it is worth mentioning that their support team is very friendly and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is buggy which can be pretty irritating, but people on their help desk sort out things quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Their solutions are made to make money and it works! I don't have to involve the development team to make small changes to the website.

What do you like best about the product?
The customer support team is so ardent and responsive, which is actually a cherry on top.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the website integration feature as sometimes, while I'm trying automation for the website, the integration crashes and doesn't happen altogether, so I am unable to move forward with the task at hand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Insider is a multipurpose platform which allows us to send push notifications as well as weekly newsletters via one platform. Therefore, we do not have to rely on more than one platform. To top it all, Insider offers various problem-solving automations that prove fruitful in terms of revenues and sales.

What do you like best about the product?
In my opinion, the biggest advantage is the possibility of quick changes to the website and the multitude of scenarios that we can use
What do you dislike about the product?
The company I work for uses only the web part and if we want to make some custom changes, they are very expensive compared to market prices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recently, we had a problem with selling the newly introduced category to the site. Despite the wonderfully prepared website, no one was interested in this type of product. We came up with the idea to add a contact form. Users began to leave a contact, thanks to which the sale was started. As it turned out, this is a product that requires consultation. It took a few hours to implement the solution and it was effective immediately.

Good tool for creating meaningful customer journey

What do you like best about the product?
Starting from the onboarding we had great support from both product onboarding specialists and customer success manager, and it helped us learn and adapt to the products and easily use the panel later on. Insider panel is already user-friendly, but support from product onboarding team is very valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
now I understand that we need more user attributes, as well as events to do deeper user segmentation and triggers for user journeys. If we would have integrated all these events and attributes in the beginning, it would help me as digital marketing manager with user journeys now. But I undertand that IT-processes-wise it's not possible. So, my suggestion / idea is to make much deeper product training before IT starts integration, so that the marketer could prioritise some points knowing products possibilities in advance. Just an idea
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been working with Insider already for quite a long time in different regions. But here we implemented Insider a bit less than 1 year ago. Our main goal was to build a constent communication with our customers. With the help of Insider we onboard and retain users to become our loyal customers. We use Architect Journey builder with email, web push and app push channels to build customer journey from the moment a user first land on our website. The platform helps us to build meaningful journeys and interact with multi-channel users easily and quickly. Next move - adding SMS via call an API to user journeys

What do you like best about the product?
Insider offers a diverse range of flexible, easy-to-use templates to make our website more interactive for our users. We use web push, the spinning wheel, and their banner overlay templates to build a completely engaging website experience for our users. With the banner overlay, for instance, we were able to achieve a significant increase in session duration of 134%.

We have observed that using Insider, web push has become an important channel for us which enables us to re-engage our website visitors and bring them back. By being able to automate our push notifications, Insider has helped us become more efficient than ever, while also delivering results that are promising. Using their web push, too, we got some desirable campaign results, contributing to almost 2% of our total traffic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Insider's panel show's real time results and data from each campaign. However, the data is a bit hard to understand without further information or explanation on the panel. Most of the time we rely on the consultant to help us understand where the numbers coming from. Would appreciate if the panel is a little easier to decipher for ourselves so we can be more self served.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to increase and improve the traffic and its quality coming into our website. We also needed solutions to help us increase the exposure for our marketing campaigns and better user engagement. Insider’s web push solved the problem of traffic for us, and their onsite templates like the banner overlay and spinning wheel solved the problem of improving user engagement and retention.
