Creating personalized experiences is easy with Insider’s onsite optimization products
What do you like best about the product?
With Insider team, we are capable of implementing segmentation for different use cases which helps us drive better conversion. It is also easy to use for users without technical background.
What do you dislike about the product?
After using it for almost two years, I have not found anything negative in this tool. It will take some time to learn how to use the tool, but after learning it, it is not difficult to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Insider, we have created user segments according to their browsing behaviour. We have implemented different buttons for specific user segments and we are able to drive a conversion rate and average order value uplift.
A growth partner and platform to help you scale digital growth
What do you like best about the product?
The ability of Insider’s products to adapt quickly and innovate based on the digital trends is something we love about the platform. The professional support from their account management team, the ease of use and more importantly the advanced personalization scenarios that are made possible has helped us design some highly performing campaigns that are individualized to each users preferences. One of their products, InStory is something that has helped us drive some really spectacular results. We’ve been able to deliver social-media-like experiences on the desktop and mobile web and coupled with their advanced segmentation features, we were able to target niche audiences with high performing personalized content.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far we’ve been able to drive a high level of engagement and ROI with Insider, so it’s hard to find things to dislike. However, we constantly need new and fresh ideas for our campaigns, and would like to see more creative campaigns templates from Insider in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a digital commerce partner of enterprise companies our business goals are to increase our revenue and deliver value to our customers through our marketing engagements. Insider is our channel partner and this enables us to work directly with their growth team for our mutual partners. By leveraging Insider’s platform we’ve been able to considerably improve our MRR and Insider has ensured that we alway have their hands-on support whenever required. This dedicated partnership has also enabled us to up out global marketing strategies. Overall, we have been able to meet and exceed our key metric goals.
A platform that goes beyond features and helps you with digital transformation
What do you like best about the product?
There are three things that we really love about using Insider - their personalization technology with has AI technology, the support from their partner teams and their tech team. Everything combined, they’ve made our lives easier and our marketing more effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this point we really like the platform and what it is doing for us, so we’re not sure about what we dislike. Sometimes there are technical updates which happen at short notice, but we don’t need to worry, because Insider’s partner team will give us all the information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our vision right from the start was to give each visitor a unique website experience, right from a personalized homepage view to product recommendations that are relevant to each visitor. This was easily possible with Insider’s webs suite and smart recommender. To further improve retention and session duration, we also made use of exit-intent and countdown timer features which helped us increase. The journey builder tool from Insider is also something that we’ve been using to build unique customer journeys for each user and engage with them along every step of their journey. Overall, the results have allowed us to boost our metrics.
As a marketing tool, INSIDER has a complete and useful set of features and templates.
What do you like best about the product?
Insider’s Smart Recommender. The AI powered engine was able to provide visitors a better onboarding experience, shortening the product discovery time. Then there is the hands-on approach of the accounts team, where they provide us with valuable and insightful suggestions on how we can optimize our campaigns for the best results.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Not a fully translated panel, we need to spend some time to pick it up. That being said the panel is easy to navigate and standard across regions which means once we get a hang of it, it’s a breeze to work on it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We successfully lowered our bounce rate and reduced drop-offs across our customer’s life cycle. In general, with Insider’s smart recommender, we have a steady average monthly CR uplift of 15%. Our next step with Insider would be Instory. With only launching the feature 14 days, we were able to shorten product discovery time for our visitors. Successfully brought a good amount of incremental revenue and generated 31% of AOV uplift.

Great tool to grow your business
What do you like best about the product?
The product itself and the way Insider accounting team works. They analyze current metrics of the site and provide great expertise in terms of recommendation engine and personalization. Also we really like the fact that we can see the results almost the same moment we implement new Insider's technology.
What do you dislike about the product?
In our case there is nothing to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Main KPI was to increase CR rate and see the ROI. Before Insider, we were using standard recommendation technology. These old recommendations were not satisfying for us, as they had only two blocks (main page and product) and had no algorithms' logic behind and they were not generating good amount of revenue as well as CR was low. We did an A/B test of our old recommendations VS Insider's ones. We started working with Insider's recommendations by testing different algorithms for blocks to get to the one performing better. The result was awesome - ROI 387x.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you think of trying Insider just set some testing period for yourself, for example 6 month. Believe me, it worth testing. Usually you can see first results already in 2-3 weeks after the integration.
The most agile customer journey builder for delivering superior customer experiences online
What do you like best about the product?
We find it very comfortable to use Insider by ourselves, and also make use of their segmentation to deliver just the kind of personalized and engaging content that we create to each and every individual user. Also, the pace of working with Insider from planning to actual execution of campaigns is smooth, quick, and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the statistics for certain campaigns we run with cross-channel tools are not available and we need to use data studio. Which we think is not really much to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We’ve always wanted to build a sustainable traffic flow from our owned channels. One of the ways we wanted to achieve this was through creating unique customer journeys that covered cross-channel touchpoints. Insider has the right tool for this - Architect. Using this we’ve been able to engage our users with web push notifications, and the traffic from these has the 2nd highest engagement after organic traffic. The automated push using Architect has enabled us to realize almost 7X uplift in CTR as compared to manual push notifications. To top it all, the support from their dedicated local team is definitely a deal-maker!

What do you like best about the product?
The support we received from Insider combined with the powerful segmentation capabilities makes realizing our metric goals very easy. We love that about Insider.

Everything we’ve seen and used about the platform we like, so there’s not much to dislike right now
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of our primary struggles was to get reminder notifications to our users, particularly regarding voucher validity and loyalty programmes. Once we started using Insider we realized that this was an easy job, the panel was easy to get around and we started engaging our users with mobile web push and mobile app notifications. We saw improved results from these campaigns.
Best recommendation engine algorithms
What do you like best about the product?
The variety of algorithms and the usage across the funnel. Filtering recommendations system allows us to engage with users at every stage of your pipeline. We appreciate the huge value of the account team at Insider who gives the expertise and provides excellent technical support on a daily basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when we have customized campaign ideas we need to wait for quite a long time. But overall there is nothing to dislike at this point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We chose Insider Smart Recommender to optimise our main metrics (AOV and CR) and it definitely worth it. We singled our users in a smart way by dividing them into user personas to provide to this specific group of users more relevant content and motivate them to make a purchase by offering them products according to their user behavior. This strategy was offered by our strategic account management team. Also we can mention the huge number of different algorithms we use. We tried other vendors but with Insider it is much easier to set up campaigns. Each month we see that our numbers are growing.

What do you like best about the product?
The support from Insider’s growth team and our strategic account managers is the highlight of our interactions with the platform. The scenarios they provide us with and the real-time support we get when we are creating personalization campaigns have been a life-saver on many occasions. As a result of these we’ve been able to optimize the overall performance of our website and key metrics across the funnel.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is amazing and brings great results, so it’s hard to find something to dislike. But one thing we find undesirable is the limitations with the type of content we can use with InStory. For now we are only able to use images, but it would be nice to videos also as part of InStory.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Driving traffic to our website was a challenge from the start. We wanted to start using personalization solutions on our website to improve the traffic, and we found Insider’s platform to contain all the solutions we were looking for. Once we started using the platform full fledged, we saw a great improvement in the user engagement on our website, and engagement with the web push notifications also improved. Not only that we were also able to improve our subscriber opt-in rates in a span of three months.

What do you like best about the product?
We have seen a very supportive and hands-on approach to the table from Insider, they’ve taken extreme care in mapping their products to our unique challenges and thereby creating a custom solution architecture for us. Another great feature we like about Insider is their exit-intent overlay messages that are highly effective at engaging users who are about to leave the site with personalized content, helping us considerably increase our session durations and optimizing conversions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using the panel can be an intense learning process. But we don’t want to term this as a negative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We realized that a vital part of our goal was to focus on delivering the most relevant products to the right users when it counts. With Insider we’ve observed an immense improvement in many vital metrics, such as a healthy reduction in our cart abandonment rates, and browser abandonment rates while observing a promising uplift in conversions. Also, more than 60% of our traffic comes from new visitors, which made it imminent for us to focus on enhancing our new visitor experiences such as product discovery and re-engagement strategies which go beyond just traditional email marketing. Exit-intent was another feature that we’ve tried and liked. We’ve implemented 2 variations of this feature and our recovery rate has been 1.23% with a 101.59% uplift in conversion rates from these campaigns. We’re also impressed by Insider’s cart abandonment recovery features, which is part of their conversion suite. We’ve been able to reduce cart abandonment by as much as 8.4% while witnessing a conversion rate uplift of 181%.
