What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
as a Micro SME, travelling to site investigating faults was dead time and money. by using insights we are able to predict the parts required saving my company and the customers time and down time

What do you like best about the product?
Insights Hub has become a critical central store for all key information in the cloud. We use it internally to track and analyse our machines across a global network. Our customers using it for verification, consumption and business insights that they've never had perform. It has a really good set of enterprise tools and features that have allowed us build out our technical and software solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Insights Hub is like a series of building blokes which takes time to come together. I wouldn't say I dislike that but it takes time to do that. We've been on a journey with Siemens and that needs to move at a pace that works for both parties. You need to invest time to skill up and understand the technology but once you've done that you'll have a great tool setup to scale and grow your business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making sure the right data gets to the right people at the right time. It provides a reporting framework internally and for our customers.

The flexibility, and how it integrates, to create a digital thread, for all users.

How its not been deployed to every manufacturer Worldwide!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had numerous Silos of information, none of them communicated with each other, and this affected our ability to make agile decisions. We can now make quick decisions and be more predictable.

Important features for me include: security, full data solution fit for the future, pre configured industrial services that we can plug in.

Navigating the purchase experience is tricky for non-expert users who are not familiar with insights hub. We needed to employ a partner for this.

Near real time and historic data analytics across a quickly growing number of connected assets and providing insights to our engineering team to drive improvements.

it is a tool that is practical to use, allows customizations

We couldn't design some plant needs to show on TV.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We lacked integration with MES and other platforms outside of Opcenter.
We use it only to display dashboards. Our intention is to extend its use in 2026.

it does not have a native connection with televisions that allows displaying dashboards on the production lines of the factories

The problem is that it is not natively compatible with TVs.

What do you like best about the product?
Collecting the data is very easy and then making it available to the various teams and roles that need the data is straight forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cloud hosting is limited. With our security concerns the lack of hosting options on govCloud or GCC-High environments limits what we are able to do. We are going to have to transition to on-premise hosting to meet our requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Insights hub is collecting and organizing our process and manufacturing data to facilitate many initiatives. These include computational physics, AI/ML, process improvement/optimization, and new material creation. By making the data available to our team it eliminates the constant messaging and searching for the correct data. It also ensures data is always collected, there is no forgetting to turn on data collection.
