Insights Hub Asset Health and Maintenance for Manufacturing and Connected Shopfloors is part of Siemens Xcelerator portfolio which is the most comprehensive industrial Internet of Things solution - from edge to cloud - powering the convergence of IT and OT. Insights Hub Asset Health and Maintenance is an easy-to-use industry solution to manage alarms generated by different condition monitoring systems, analyze data to identify root causes of alarms, remotely log onto assets for further data retrieval and remote repair. It also provides transparency into historic issues with the equipment and a trail of activities completed to address issues, which provides transparency into who did what and helps to solve repeatedly occurring issues more efficiently.
Insights Hub Asset Health and Maintenance offers the following capabilities:
- Manage tickets / alarms on abnormal machine behavior generated by a variety of condition monitoring systems.
- Provide analytics capabilities to analyze anomalous behavior in time and frequency domains to accelerate root cause identification and definition of mitigating actions
- Support remote access to machine via secure tunnel for remote repairs and enable remote expert assistance for onsite technicians via Microsoft Teams for more efficient maintenance
- Provide tracker of all activities and statistics of machine failures

What do you like best about the product?
I find Insights Hub beneficial for the system, especially because it provides a cloud-based IoT interface. I like how it connects real-life devices to the digital world and offers AI solutions. It's great for working independently and synchronously, making cloud-based things easy to share and allowing the addition of many IoT devices. I also appreciate its integration with open software like Prepromax, MATLAB, and many other platforms. The initial setup is relatively easy but does require some proficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes experience robustness and compatibility issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Insights Hub for its cloud-based IoT interface that connects real-life devices to the digital world, providing AI solutions. It helps share cloud-based resources and enables IoT devices to work both independently and synchronously.
