My Favorite Password Manager
What do you like best about the product?
I love 1Password and it is definitely my favorite password manager. I have used it for 3-4 years and have recommended it to many friends and family members. I love how clean it is, easy to use, safe and encrypted, and that the developers are constantly improving it and making it better and better. They're browser extension on iOS and Mac/PC is fantastic and saves a ton of time, especially when you use very long and unique passwords. I have contacted their support several times over the years and they are fantastic to work with. And on top of it all, if you're interested in security or encryption at all, they have a great blog as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't have anything I absolutely dislike, but I will say it is not the cheapest password manager out there. I have been more than willing to pay the premium for the iOS and Mac versions, but others may not. Along those lines, I have been interested in using their shared family plans, but the subscription pricing has kept me from making that move.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With 1Password I am able to keep all my passwords, accounts, membership info, sensitive notes, and other important information safe and secure without worrying about it. For passwords, I am able to creat long, unique passphrases for every site I use and not have to worry about remembering them all. I use 1Password for work and for personal use, and it has improved my efficiency and security a great deal.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would absolutely recommend 1Password to anyone who is looking to secure their passwords and other sensitive information. The price is a bit higher than other options, but I think it is worth the price for the top of the line product they offer.
A must tool for string passwords and data securely
What do you like best about the product?
Probably the best feature I use is integration with internet browsers (I use Safari and Chrome). Storing from various web forms and filling passwords back is very easy and intuitive. I like the fact that 1Password is cross-platform and I can use same application on my Windows PC and mobile devices (iPhone, iPad). Having all passwords, secure notes and credit card information stored securely and available on all devices I use is really amazes me. I even put all software licenses and bank accounts into 1Password. Sharing encrypted database over Dropbox is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it is a cross-platform product, license for Windows version and iOS version needs to be bought separately. This makes the whole solution more expensive if you use various devices.
I did not really get the idea of categorising saved data to folders. It is very time consuming to sort all saved logins and passwords to different folders so I gave up and have everything in one group.
Dropbox sharing is great but 1Password lacks support for other cloud storage provides (OneDrive, Google Drive etc.). iCloud integration works only for Mac, it cannot share data with 1Password on Windows - this is a showstopper for me.

I store all company and private logins and passwords in 1Password. Login to any web service is super easy and it saves me a lot of time every day. When registering to new web service I use 1Password password generator to create very strong password.
Instead of using few memorable passwords I create unique, complex, password for each service. This significantly increases security of my cloud accounts.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it. 1Password excels when you use Mac and iOS. For Windows it is more complicated due to fixation to Dropbox and need to buy another license.
A nice, secure way access passwords on mobile and desktop
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it uses a standard place to store the password data, so that I can access them on my iPhone and Mac.
What do you dislike about the product?
I requires you to update the password manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to use stronger passwords. It's more of a psychological thing, but it helps me keep my data more secure. I've lost my Apple Keychain a few times and 1Password served as a backup, and also a sole-course for websites that disallow autosaving passwords.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Enter all your credit card info into 1Password, so you have a record of them in case your wallet is lost or stolen.
1Password makes security easy!
What do you like best about the product?
So often in life, the easy thing to do isn't the best choice to make. The same goes for account security. The easy choice is to use the same easy to remember word as the password for all your online accounts. Easy, yes. Secure? Heck no.
1Password makes it dead simple to have incredibly secure passwords, without having to memorize them. Their apps have clean, modern interface, and they sync together beautifuly using Dropbox or iCloud. Extensions are available for all the major browsers, making it super simple to auto-fill your login details, CC details and more with just a click or a keystroke.
My favorite part about 1Password is probably the iOS app, which features a Safari extension and TouchID integration. It's honestly one of the best apps I've used.

What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to find something I don't like. I have no complaints. But I've heard the Android version is lacking, but I can't speak to that since I'm running iOS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security is going to be important for any business, so it's an absolute necessity that you lock down your online accounts with some serious passwords. Good passwords aren't easy to remember, so that's where 1Password comes in. It allows us to have great security, without all the hassle. Their new 1Password for Teams allows for teams to share passwords between each other, which is really useful in a business setting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You'll definitely want to try out 1Password, and if you're in a business setting, give 1Password for Teams a try. It's vital to my workflow!
1Password is THE password solution
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is second to none. It makes managing my various types of passwords easily navigable, and adding new ones is a breeze. The cross-platform support and sync is fantastic, and imbues you with a confidence that you're able to access any password you need, anywhere you need it, at any time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I can't think of any criticism. My use of 1Password has fundamentally changed how I think about data, privacy, and security, while at the same time making things so much more manageable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the major problem about having tough and secure encryption, whilst at the same time reducing the complexity without any loss of security.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you've never tried a password manager, or are thinking of switching, 1Password is the solution for you. It's easy, secure, and a leader in the field.
This has been my goto password manager for about 8 years
What do you like best about the product?
Automatic syncing and secure password generation are my favorite features. I have 1Password installed on all my devices (iPhone, iPad, and Macs) and the ability to get whatever secure information I need on any device is invaluable. The ability to generate secure passwords means that all the websites I use have unique strong password.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is absolutely nothing that I don't like about 1Password. I've purchased every single update/upgrade for over 8 years. It is by far some of the best money that I've spent on apps throughout the years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Have secure passwords at the ready, no matter what device I'm using, and not have to worry about phishing attacks or compromised passwords across websites. When a website is visited, by using 1Password, it will automatically let you know if the website is indeed the website that you think it is. Otherwise, 1Password will not be in the list of choices, thus you can tell that you are potentially being phished.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
1Password is one of those products that I never hesitate to recommend to friends, family and co-workers. I tell them to just buy it and they won't be disappointed. And so far, I've been 100% correct, not a single person that I know that uses it doesn't love it.
Most valuable software I've ever purchased
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to sync my encrypted password vaults via Dropbox since the early days of the product has been incredibly useful, and allows me to feel like I'm in control of where my data is stored.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm still using an older version of the product, and so it feels like the browser extension doesn't work as often as it used to as Chrome and Firefox receive updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having lengthy, complex passwords generated for each new site I sign up for is incredibly valuable for my personal security as well as the safety of my business's information. If one password is compromised and happens to show up on a list one day, I feel safe knowing that's the only account that will be affected.
Robust, secure and meet everything I need.
What do you like best about the product?
Loved 1Password's Cmd+\ shortcut to easily fill or lookup log in. Buying one license allows for use on all machines. Also loved the mobile app. Also loved the password generator. Loved the also asked to save new passwords.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sadly its not free, mobile app is also not free. 1Password stops working if browser updates are available until browser is updated to most current patch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All me to use more secure passwords w/ out needing to remember and type it overtime.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Best paid password management application thus far. Great integration and mobile application.
It'll change your life
What do you like best about the product?
1Password enables you to use strong passwords that are unique – meaning you will never use the same password twice. Their team and family platforms make it amazingly simple to share passwords with your co-workers or family members. These features alone have streamlined our work as a custom software development company where we collaborate remotely with clients and other team members.
The password generator is another widely used feature that allows us to generate impossible-to-guess passwords that are unique. By default, we always generate 30-charachter random passwords with numbers, special characters and letters. I never know what my passwords are, and never need to.
Dropbox vault syncing makes it incredibly simple to access passwords, logins, and secure notes across all devices. I use 1Password on 2 laptops, a mobile phone, and 3 tablets. Once I store a password, it's available on all devices.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing passwords is insecure and slightly cumbersome, but with 1Password for Teams coming out soon and 1Password for families that problem should be largely solved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to solve the problem of protection agains brute force login attacks, managing thousands of passwords for myself and for clients, and sharing passwords between trusted people. The benefits are huge. We've secured thousands of accounts with both strong passwords and 2-factor authentication, and all password data are managed in secure vaults.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
1Password certainly changed the way I manage online accounts. I feel more secure than ever, and I don't have to remember any login credentials ever again (except for my one master password, of course!)
Used Several Password safes, this one takes the cake
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that 1password has an up to date and super easy to use Chrome browser extension is what makes 1password even better. Whenever I get to a login page, all I have to do is hit cmd+\ and bam, it auto fills my login details. (If 1password is opening for the first time, it will have you enter your master password but that's it.) Another thing that I really love about 1password is the ability to migrate password data using dropbox. Super useful. Also love how the list of logins include logos or icons next to each one which if I ever have to scroll through a list of logins within the safe, it makes it super easy to find what I'm looking for. Bottom line though, even as convenient as 1password is, arguable the best feature is security. You essentially have the ability to set extremely complex passwords without having to remember them. You can also use their password generator tool which is awesome for not just logins within 1password, but has many other uses outside of 1password as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I used to have the free version, and after it had expired, the password safe wouldn't let me update passwords that had changed. Of course I disliked this, but I think that's the point so that I will buy the full version. Which is totally worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed the ability to keep my logins secure, the ability to actively update logins, and ability to manage dozens of logins at the same time. After a while, keeping the logins down on paper was both tedious and unsecure. Being able to login with two keystrokes and still be incredibly secure is a huge plus. Anytime I see someone thumbing through a notebook full of logins, or that asks me to reset their password, I smile to myself and tell them to download the trial. Because if they start using the trial, i know they'll be hooked.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just download the trial. Trust me. It's an amazing program and once your trial runs out, you will see why it's worth buying.
