Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This contract covers two billing dimensions. You pay for 1Password Business per user per year. The count of users you commit to sets your base cost, so pricing scales with the size of your workforce. The second dimension, True Ups, handles overuse. If you add users beyond your committed count during the term, True Ups bill you for that extra usage. Together, these let you set a yearly commitment and reconcile any growth without changing your contract.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one user for the per-user-per-year billing?
Each person you invite to your 1Password Business account counts as one user. You commit to a user count for the year, and your base cost scales with that number. Access is assigned per user through roles and groups synced from your identity provider.
How does the True Up dimension combine with my committed user count?
Your committed 1Password Business users set the base yearly cost. True Ups bill separately for any users added beyond that committed count during the term. Both appear on your invoice. The committed count usually drives most of the cost, with True Ups covering only extra growth.
What happens to my bill if I add users beyond my committed count mid-term?
Adding users past your committed count triggers True Up charges for that overuse. You do not need to change or renegotiate your contract. True Ups reconcile the extra usage, so you can grow your workforce during the term without disrupting the base commitment.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s very easy to use and makes onboarding team members straightforward. The free personal account option for staff has also been well received. We like the TFA management as well. Its performant and doesn't get in the way. It was easy to integrate with our Microsoft estate for Single Sign On.
What do you dislike about the product?
It feels like it asks for a lot of login confirmations, but I understand it’s a security tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides shared access to passwords, along with password management and protection.

Great Password Storage, Poor Support Experience

What do you like best about the product?
It's the best for password storage
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support is useless. Did not help me with my payment issue. I had to figure it out myself. They were constantly saying that it's my bank card settings issue while I just had to change a region in the setting of the billing account on their side. And there is no regular payment flow where you can just go and pay for it. Instead you have to add you card on the billing page and wait when they charge it. In case of issue this dramatically slows down the issue identification. Disappointing!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for password storing

1Password Makes Daily Sign-Ins Fast, Secure, and Organized
Reviewed on Jul 20, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I use 1Password daily at LocalConnect to manage shared credentials for our team's SaaS tools such as Google Workspace and other business accounts. The browser extension makes signing in quick during day-to-day operations. It helps keep work-related logins organized and secure, especially when managing multiple accounts across platforms. It has significantly reduced the time spent resetting or searching for credentials.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found that setting up vaults and organizing existing business accounts takes some time initially. New team members may need a short introduction to understand how shared access and permissions work. Once configured, it works well, but the onboarding experience could be more straightforward for first-time users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At LocalConnect, 1Password helps us securely manage work-related credentials in one place. Instead of manually sharing passwords or searching through different tools, I can quickly access the accounts I need during daily operations. It has improved our credential management process while saving time and reducing the risk of password-related issues.

All-in-One Security and Easier Team Collaboration with 1Password

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to store everything in one app—passkeys, recovery keys, two-factor authentication, and more—has made our business much more secure. It has also made it easier for us to collaborate with other employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
The autofill feature for forms isn’t as good as Google Chrome’s native version. If I have both turned on, they end up fighting with each other, so I just stick with 1Password’s less capable option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me use unique passwords and adds more security, and I can share them across teams when needed.
