Consistently brilliant
What do you like best about the product?
Beyond the obvious benefits of a password manager, 1Password provides a simple and clean interface that drastically reduces the time spent securely logging in to services. I've used 1Password for over 5 years and it has continued to improve in every area: shared password vaults for our team, guest members to temporarily share credentials, watchtower to warn you of exposed/vulnerable password and the unobtrusive yet powerful browser extensions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using 1Password on iOS devices works although the process is not as seamless and easy as it is on desktop devices, although this is largely due to iOS limitations rather than development choices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our primary use case is to securely share credentials for shared services throughout our team. However, we have also ingrained password security within the team by encouraging the use of 1Password for all credentials not only shared ones.

What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to use; I pay for a personal account in addition to using 1password for work. It's been a total lifesaver when I've needed to access my accounts on the go, or when old devices (laptops, iPhones, etc.) have stopped working suddenly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just like any company platform there can be an adoption curve, but otherwise no complaints. Make sure to save your emergency kit down just in case (and encourage your employees to do the same).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to securely share passwords with coworkers/agencies and access your accounts on the go. Love the "guest" account feature, so that I don't have to pay for an additional seat for contractors or agencies with whom I only need to share limited information.
Secure, collaborative password management
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the Vaults feature of 1Password. Vaults allow teams to share credentials from their private vaults into shared team vaults securely. I also really like seeing which of our users have breached credentials so that we can invite them to 1Password to target problem users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the disconnect from the Desktop app to the Browser based app. I find i'm putting in my credentials a lot, when the Desktop app should authenticate me to the browser app. I do understand that their are security limitations and that 1Password have most likely opted for the secure by design approved, which is never a bad thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password re-use was a huge problem. Our users no longer use the same password for everything and use their 1Password private vault.
Our teams are now more secure when using service accounts or API keys. They can create extremely long uncrackable passwords and not have to remember them.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a secure but collaborative password management solution then 1Password is what you're looking for. It ticks all the boxes and comes with a free family licence when you purchase a business licence which is a nice touch, this means our users can use 1Password in their personal lives which makes adoption really easy.
Great password security with an incredibly easy to use interface!
What do you like best about the product?
As a 1Password user for well over 10 years, I find the software to be extremely easy to use and it helps me keep my passwords complex and secure without much thought required.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have found the desktop versions to be rock solid but the iOS versions seem to have difficulties auto filling passwords regularly even with Safari.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an IT Manager, passwords can be difficult for users to remember mostly with the biometrics uses now in most hardware. Users also tend to have bad habits of reusing passwords. 1Password helps you create complex password that do not have to be remembers as they are there at the click of the mouse. It also uses WatchTower to alert you if a site has been breached so you know you need to change your password. I could go on and on about all the ways I love this software!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Even though 1Password is very easy to use, I would recommend training to make sure it's used to its fullest capacity. Learning how to use WatchTower, duplicate password detection, weak password detection, etc is critical to keeping your passwords safe from those prying eyes!

I like that it is very easy to use and support has always been very responsive to any issues or questions I have had.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more business focused features in the product.

We are trying to securely share passwords with people in the business and discourage using the same passwords on multiple websites.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helped us shed some bad password habits, and some of the reports (like password strength and reuse reports) have helped us further improve our password hygiene.
After a Decade I Love It Even More
What do you like best about the product?
It's secure, it's easy to use, and it's Canadian.
What do you dislike about the product?
It falls short on exact host matching (a password stored for "host.domain.tld" would be offered for "domain.tld", which in some use cases can be annoying).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used 1Password privately and in my last role I also rolled it out for our org. People love it.

Essential for security and convenience
What do you like best about the product?
1Password makes it as easy as possible to use sting unique passwords with all of you accounts. Working in IT, I have a lot of accounts to keep track of.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s not much to dislike. If anything, 1Password makes it a little too easy to not keep your passwords organized. I know the functionality is there, but I generally just dump everything in there without thinking about keeping it tidy. That’s great in one way, but has created a mess in another.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Again, I can have very secure, unique passwords for all of my accounts and not worry about losing access to anything.

One Password to rule them all
What do you like best about the product?
We like the fact that 1Password does its job with little fuss. 1Password works. It's straightforward, yet powerful. It is easy to manage a team and create firewalls between teams ensuring that the right people gain access to the right resources. 1Password also makes it easy to login to all of the apps and services we use every day without needing to remember our long, strong passwords. Our entire team likes the fact that we can many TOTP with 1Password and do not need to rely on SMS for multi-factor authentication.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to be able to provision 1Password more automatically while onboarding new team members through Gusto, but besides that, I love 1Password and use both Business and Family plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secure access to logins and access management. We utilize TOTP within 1Password to help improve our team's user experience keeping their logins secure. We push the use of 1Password over SMS codes. We find that 1Password saves our team a lot of time each week being directly integrated into our browser based workflow and also improves our team's ability to monitor and assess the security of our logins. We also love the great reports that admins can run inside of 1Password.com for Business that let us see who may have been part of breaches across logins being utilized as well as to help our security team determine who might need more training or otherwise need to simply update a few old passwords.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are on the fence, I'd recommend at minimum trying it out. I do not believe any of the other password managers out there reach the same bar balancing security and ease-of-use.
1Password is great for our remote team
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to organize passwords into different vaults and share with team members but also include guest accounts for one off access makes 1password really useful for our small remote team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that when a password was updated in one vault it would update across vaults.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We no longer share passwords via email or Slack now that our remote team has access to 1password. We also utilize the two factor authentication feature which comes in handy since our team is located in multiple time zones and its not always possible to get access to an account without texting someone across the world.
