DiscoverOrg is a Sales Operations Dream!
What do you like best about the product?
I have found the customer service to stellar. They are always offering to help, do trainings, and actively making sure we are getting the best use of this tool. Our Sales team really appreciates the Scoops and I really appreciate they ability to find an exact list of people to market to.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is on the high side. Sometimes the imports to Dynamics can be clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the detailed search function to find the exact people, from demographically specific companies that we can target our messaging to for our marketing campaigns.
Finding The Right Person
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite tool is being able to ad contacts straight from the Chrome extension when I am on a potential clients website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Contacts are hard to come by but there is a "fix it" tool that allows my team to request the contacts that are needed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Less time prospecting more time calling.
Great for Lead Generation
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can build a targeted list with companies most similar to those you've worked with. Scoops are great as well. The Chrome extension is great. Our rep is always willing to offer advice or training.
What do you dislike about the product?
The info is sometimes dated, but not nearly as common as other platforms
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lead generation
Use Discover for contacts and oppalerts in IT departments
What do you like best about the product?
The pool of DIscoverOrg accounts and contacts is huge. We are able to target specific job levels, titles, locations, accounts that are using certain technologies, and so much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been a few times where the information was incorrect (phone number or email or location of contact)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our pool of contacts is much bigger. We have been able to find the decision makers, and which job titles we should be reaching out to. We are able to see the technologies our customers and prospects are using, and which ones they have yet to acquire.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ask your account manager questions. They are very willing to help. It helps you become more familiar with the product, and keeps them honest and encourages constant improvement of DiscoverOrg.
Review of Discover Org
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Discover Org has a detailed report on the accounts that I am prospecting into. I get valuable information on things to talk about, who to talk about, and how to contact them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that many smaller companies aren't in Discover Org.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to quickly find out who to contact, and what their org charts look like. This opens up my prospect to more people than I would normally have.

I reccomend using this product to find who to prospect at a company, and what technologies they are using

Prospecting leads, getting contact info, hierarchies

Not fully accurate—outdated/missing info

Invaluable for determining leads to prioritize and obtaining accurate contact info (emails, phone #, etc)

Salesforce Developer Candidate Search
What do you like best about the product?
I love Discover! I was able to find a list of SalesForce Developers in my area in a matter of minutes, export to Excel & upload to my ATS! This is rapidly becoming my goto for hard to fill roles!
What do you dislike about the product?
That there is not an API straight to my ATS!

Recruiting! Ease of use!
DiscoverOrg Review
What do you like best about the product?
The content is fantastic, which is excellent, but the organization is the best. I appreciate the way it is structured so you know who report to who, which allows for easy contact up the chain.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I get locked accounts occasionally, but I understand that's because my company doesn't subscribe for them

What do you like best about the product?
Scoop alerts. Being able to view an organizations work chart to actively prospect the most efficient way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the contacts being outdated. Or some contacts not available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to prospect and run deal predict to get the most accurate prospecting.
Best sales intelligence tool out there by far!
What do you like best about the product?
Huge database with verified contact info. Easily able to slice and dice the data for specific campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
As the database grows, it is harder to keep all of the data up to dat and I am finding more outdated info. But the DiscoverOrg research team is great about getting them updated once you put in a "Fix It request"!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LinkedIn is great for finding who's there and what their title is but rarely do they provide their contact info. That's where DiscoverOrg comes in! I can use LinkedIn to see who is there and if/when they are in the DiscoverOrg database, I can see their contact info and upload it directly into SFDC!

Whether you are looking to build out your outbound prospecting efforts or you strictly work inbound leads, DiscoverOrg is well worth the investment! From the most accurate data on the market to all of the integrations with other tools to help you easily move the data around and easily track progress and successes throughout the sales process.
