Smart fuel for sales engine
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is Scoops - It will do 90% of your prospecting itself. There newly added feature of DealPredectation gives great advantage over your competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I got confused whom to follow in my prospecting, too much information to process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prospecting in Fortune organizations, without discover it very tough to find out right audience for our services.
Major problem solved by discover :
1- DealPredecton
2- All validate data.
3- individual intellegence
4- Company infomation.
Overall, as I mention in my title it fuels the sales & marketing engine of the organizations.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Focus more in particular data, It will be great if you can put more information about individuals like their DOB - Job Anniversary etc. it will give more value to our prospecting.
Easy & effective filters that allow me to drill down and maximize my efforts.
What do you like best about the product?
The Filters. the more the better! Additionally, more narrow locations.
What do you dislike about the product?
the results counter has been removed from the filter window.

Lead generation.

more separation into subsidiaries
Good tool. Maybe too much for some companies. Helps to have a solid plan in place to use it well.

I like the seemingly endless lists of contacts it provides. Lots of info/names in there.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some data is out of date. Would be great if scoops were more detailed too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of leads is the problem we aim to solve. This gives plenty of cold contacts a great target accounts to go after.

Would like to see more information by state or country for global corporations.

Outreach to new contacts, verify existing contacts. Relevant information on projects undertaken. Updates on mergers, and sell-offs.

Real insight into companies that you can't get anywhere else.

DiscoverOrg has been an amazing resource for prospecting. The information provided is up to date and very detailed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes not all prospects are listed, but DiscoverOrg will research any company to fill in missing information if you reach out on their fixit extension.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to keep my client list updated with ease. I've also been able to find new clients via the 'similar companies' tab.

Depth of intelligence and ability to drill down to find best prospects is unmatched

Their forward looking Scoops have become less forward looking than in past

Select the companies that you want to review versus them giving you their cherry picked ones. Ask yourslef how much time it takes to get this with other tools (if at all)

I have noticed the accuracy is very good for what we're looking at. The options to slice and dice information is pretty detailed.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are used to other list vendors and are looking for similar functionality like grabbing X number of names per company or a way to suppress contacts and companies, DiscoverOrg isn't for you. The support resources is lacking (training resources, account management attention, knowledge base search is very basic).

Prospecting and verifying data for inbound and outbound sourcing.
Helpful Database For Finding Contacts
What do you like best about the product?
Extensive list of companies with phone numbers and email addresses, Useful for finding contacts from specific companies, Ability to upload to CRM
What do you dislike about the product?
Good amount of outdated contacts or people that are no longer at the company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding contacts to call, seeking people with specific job titles, Sourcing companies
Accuracy is their mission
What do you like best about the product?
I don't have to sort through several people to find one lead that has accurate updated information. Also, I can submit a request for someone who isn't in the system yet and will typically get that data back in less than 48 hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have access to all departments in the org. This is due to license structure, but sometimes limits me to people that wear multiple hats.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clean Salesforce data and not wasting time reaching out to contacts with inaccurate data.

If you want to have quality information over quantity, DiscoverOrg is your best fit.
