Decent CRM Product

What do you like best about the product?
Its ability to sync with Amplitude. Also the backward integration with amplitude where it can send events to amplitude so that we can track whether a user opened an email or not.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very clunky. Campaigns can go down unexpectedly. The analytics dashboard is not super user-friendly. The templates are okayish. But love the spirit of Account manager to handle the complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly CRM relationship. Trying to nudge users via in-app notification to keep them on the right path. Improving engagement and stickiness of the product via emails.

What do you like best about the product?
- The support team is very responsive and helpful — they’re always available whenever we need assistance, without charging extra support fees beyond a certain limit (unlike Insider which caps free support hours per month).

- Pricing is more competitive than others.

- The platform provides flexibility in tracking user behavior through events, and it’s convenient that almost every user action on the platform can be tracked as an event.

- MoEngage also offers integrated communication channels (email, SMS, web push), and the email builder is easier to use compared to SendGrid.
What do you dislike about the product?
Event setup and data mapping can be unclear, requiring detailed definitions from the start. MAU-based billing may overcount users switching browsers. Triggered campaigns sometimes fail depending on event sources (SDK vs S2S). Product personalization and templates are still limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MoEngage helps us centralize and automate customer engagement across multiple channels — including web push, email, and SMS — based on real user behavior. By tracking user actions as events, we can send timely, personalized messages (e.g. cart reminders or product recommendations) to improve conversion and retention. The platform also helps our team reduce manual work, gain better visibility into campaign performance, and optimize communication flows through data-driven insights.

Ease of use is very good.
Success team also helps us in solving any issues we are facing or help required.

Product features take time to be built from the time of my request which can be frustrating.

What do you like best about the product?
The part where you can send personalized messages to users based on their activity within your app / website. Moreover, user affinity, that give unique insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
user paths with in the app. that feature still needs alot of improvement.

personalized messaging based on in app activity, that boosts engagement with in the app. retains the user for longer period of time and increases conversions.

Mo engage is Great software for CRM

What do you like best about the product?
I'm a retention associate, so I can do my all retention activities through MoEngage. I have migrated to MoEngage one month back from another CRM software. Now really I can see the difference.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some features they can improve better. one is definitely the UI, actually is some completecated to use when compare to rest of the CRM software. so it could have more user frendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The best part is communication. One of my major difficulties was the delivery rate issue when I user push notifications. with MoEngage i got high delivery rates.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Moengage Customer Engagement Platform for creating neat and clean workflow for my SMS campaigns as well it is very good in sending real-time SMS campaigns through its API events. We have created multiple API events for our Order Management System and we have mapped it for sending real-time SMS to the customers based on transactions. Apart from this, it is also good for doing analysis of your SMS campaigns that how many SMS we have sent out and how many customers have responded. Now we are sending any SMS files to any other vendor for sending out all our SMS campaigns. Moengage Customer Engagement Platform has solved our issue for sending out all our SMS campaigns which include batch and real-time SMS campaigns for order management system. We are also able to send location based SMS offer if customer making any transaction on our instores. I advice it to other digital marketers for sending out all our SMS campaigns with smooth and effective way.
What do you dislike about the product?
-It requires to source data from various CRM and third party vendors and needs connectors to connect to them.
-Storage of data is at third party public cloud which can lead to data security issues for any organization.
-It help automates the way content is published and allows to manage all social media profiles.
-I dislike the connectors as when customers use some other third-party apps and when I need to send some notification via them, it becomes quite difficult while using this platform
-hence result of this we miss the notification sometimes. hence I dislike this feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The best thing that I like about this platform is the push email notification, every time when I just need to send them important emails as information I just have to click once and this platform sends the email that I saved as a template. I love this feature. Apart from this feature, I like support services as well. I have been handling organic engagement activities. This includes planning, designing and execution of engagement notifications. Through Moengage's analytical insights, I can easily focus more on scaling my campaigns. This has eventually reduced my time which I usually spend planning the engagement activities. The ready to use reporting structure is even amazing. Makes things easier for MIS Team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ease of Use and a simplified UI. Specific tabs/groups as per the requirement of the firm. A/B testing ease with seamless campaign creation via duplicating the existing variation. One click non-personalized fallback template creation reduces the time to create the campaign. Segmented targeting basis affinity/engagement and various attributes. API integration is effective and seamless. Analytics provide a complete picture of the campaign/retention and engagement thereby assisting the decision making process. In a nutshell this tool handles every aspect of CRM and is a must have tool.
