Automation has accelerated invoice processing and supports compliant document handling

  • December 25, 2025
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for UiPath Platform is invoice processing. An agent helps identify relevant inbound emails/attachments (invoices), then a robot validates and posts invoices into two or more Saas or app (i e:ERP platforms). Document Understanding/IDP extracts key fields (vendor, invoice number/date, totals, tax, line items) before human validation and final posting to finance.

How has it helped my organization?

UiPath helps by providing an enterprise-grade framework for governance and auditability in regulated contexts. It reduces the effort of rebuilding controls for each automation, supports standardized delivery, and improves reliability and consistency when handling client-facing processes.

What is most valuable?

The most valuable capabilities for my use cases are Document Understanding/IDP and IXP for processing and classifying documents at scale. UiPath Studio also stands out: the activity library and reusable components allow fast development with consistent design patterns across projects, supporting maintainability and centralized deployment.

What needs improvement?

UiPath is a leading platform for enterprise automation. For my use cases, the main improvement area is agentic/LLM-based automation maturity in production; especially consistency, controllability, and reducing the iteration required to reach stable results. Continued enhancements to guardrails and human-in-the-loop workflows would further strengthen large-scale deployments.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using UiPath Platform for seven years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

UiPath Platform is the best in terms of stability.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Regarding UiPath Platform's scalability, I have never tried scalability with a hundred or thousand robots, but they say it is easily scalable. I have never had those clients where I could put a hundred to a thousand robots, but they say it is scalable easily. I trust them.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support for UiPath Platform is good.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Before choosing UiPath Platform, I evaluated options such as Blue Prism and Automation Anywhere.

What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment of around a huge return in three to six months, which is a short time regarding the usual SaaS products from two to three years ago or 18 months prior. Now with UiPath Platform, you can deliver a return on investment in three to six months. It depends on the complexity of the workflows.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Overall, the experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing has been acceptable. The key is to size the licenses to the automation strategy and expected utilization to ensure predictable ROI.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I evaluated Blue Prism and Automation Anywhere, but selected UiPath for its overall ecosystem and delivery speed for enterprise automation—particularly around development experience, orchestration, and document processing for end-to-end workflows.

What other advice do I have?

I would rate UiPath Platform 9/10. Start with a high-volume, well-defined process (e.g., invoices), define ROI metrics upfront (cycle time, volume, error rate, cost of errors, build/maintenance), and scale gradually with clear governance and reusable components.

Automation has transformed complex finance and operations and delivers fast, structured ROI

  • December 23, 2025
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

I have many use cases for UiPath Platform: knowing your customers, insurance claims, accounting, payables, email driven requests like treasury operation, and supply chain manufacturing reconciliation.

How has it helped my organization?

UiPath Platform has positively impacted our engagements by reducing manual effort on repetitive, rules-based work, which shortens cycle times and frees teams to focus on higher-value activities rather than copy/paste operations.

We also see measurable quality benefits, because automation improves consistency and reduces human error, especially when processes span multiple enterprise applications and data sources.

Finally, having centralized orchestration and monitoring through Orchestrator, combined with structured enablement via UiPath Academy, makes it easier to industrialize automation (deploy, control, and continuously improve it) instead of running isolated scripts.

What is most valuable?

UiPath Platform excels in governance through security and compliance, eliminating the need for extensive audits and addressing European compliance requirements. I can automate and structure processes while connecting agents to make decisions and reason, then escalate to humans and make them accountable in the loop, which UiPath calls human in the loop for accountability. It serves as a backbone for IT development.

UiPath Platform has helped me achieve a reduction in process time between 50% and 90%. I see direct impact with this range. The platform is professionally well-structured, similar to using Microsoft Word or other Microsoft tools. I do not face problems with structured-based approaches, especially when using cases that have already been implemented rather than new cases. It provides payback within three months directly.

What needs improvement?

UiPath platform is, in my view, one of the best options on the market! why?
The RPA market still relatively young, and Uipath was one of the early leaders to industrialize enterprise RPA; it also brings RPA, AI, and human decision points together in a single enterprise-grade platform with strong orchestration and governance.
The main area I would still like to see improved for my use cases is the practical -agent learning curve- in production.

UiPath is clearly moving in the right direction with agent evaluations (including scoring) and the ability to turn real runtime traces into evaluation assets, plus simulations to test tools/escalations safely;

but getting from initial agent behavior to consistent, reliable outcomes can still take too much manual iteration.

A more guided, managed improvement loop (recommendations from failed evals, drift/instability signals, and clearer promotion/versioning workflows within governance) would make agentic AI much faster to operationalize at scale, especially when external LLMs are involved.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using UiPath Platform for seven years throughout my career.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Overall,Uipath platform has been stable for us in production. We’ve seen rare issues (typically tied to specific versions, environment constraints,or upgrade windows),but with disciplined release management and proper infrastructure sizing, reliability has been strong.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

I have not personally run a very large-scale deployment(hundreds/thousands of robots).Based on customer projects and the platform’s architecture,Uipath is designed to scale when governance(standards, Orchestrator setup, monitoring, release management)is in place.

How are customer service and support?

I haven’t opened many support tickets directly, but I’ve participated in support interactions with delivery teams. Experience is mixed: some engineers are excellent, but responsiveness and consistency vary. Overall, I would rate support 7/10.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I have not used any alternatives to UiPath Platform. For Agentic AI, I use AWS, but for Robotic Process Automation, I have not used alternatives. When you have the best in the market, which I believe UiPath Platform is, the solution is straight and reliable. I already have people on my team with experience and have developed relationships with UiPath Platform developers.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup had a learning curve for me at the very beginning, so it felt a bit confusing. Once I understood the platform concepts and the setup flow, getting connected and starting work became straightforward and quick.

I also appreciated that it’s easy to start with a free trial and then move to a paid plan directly using a credit card (e.g., American Express),which simplifies procurement for smaller or fast-moving initiatives.

What about the implementation team?

We did use a consultant for the deployment:Transforia(independent automation consultancy).

Transforia.fr supported the deployment end-to-end (architecture, setup, governance, and delivery standards) in close collaboration with the customer’s IT and business teams.

Overall the experience was positive: having an experienced delivery team reduced onboarding friction, improved maintainability, and helped structure the rollout with clear prioritization and operational guardrails

What was our ROI?

Yes,Clear ROI has been observed with uipath platform, especially on structures, repetitive processes. We typically see process cycle-time reductions, in the 50-90% range depending on process complexity and how standardized the inputs and exceptions are.In the best cases(already well-defined processes that can be implemented and reused quickly),pauback can be achieved in about 3 months.

A good example is end-to-end invoice processing:automated captured (email/PDF),validation ( PO/GRN Ticket),approval routing, and automatic posting into the ERP.In practice, this typically reduces manual effort by roughly 50–70% and improves first-pass accuracy(often reaching the mid-to-high 90% range),which cuts rework and helps avoid late-payment penalties. Many teams at www.transforia.fr  also report cycle-time improvements—from about 7–14 days down to 1–3 days making it easier to capture early-payment discounts and improve vendor relationships.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Pricing and licensing for UiPath Platform can feel relatively fixed and premium, and it may be perceived as expensive—particularly when viewed from a small or growing-business perspective. If there were simpler entry tiers or more SMB-friendly packaging, it would likely make adoption easier for smaller enterprises; that said, for enterprise-grade programs the overall cost can be fair when the platform is utilized well and scaled with a clear automation roadmap.

Setup cost is usually less about the software install and more about the broader implementation work(environment, security, governance, and robot configuration),so the true cost depends on how quickly the organization can standardize these foundations.

This is not a sales statement; the platform is robust and well structured (often compared to mature enterprise software suites),but smaller organizations with unpredictable volume or revenue can struggle with an annual commitment if ROI is not proven early,so the safest approach is to start with a high-volume, well-defined process, measure value fast, and then expand, because when business activity is continuous, the ROI tends to remain continuous as well.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I did not run a formal bake-off against other Robotic Process Automation vendors before choosing UiPath Platform; the decision was mainly driven by existing team experience, established internal know-how, and confidence in the platform’s maturity for structured enterprise automation. For agentic AI components, AWS services are used when appropriate, but for core RPA the focus remained on UiPath rather than splitting the automation stack across multiple RPA tools.

What other advice do I have?

There are many challenges with automation, and every client faces challenges; however, when working with clients already using UiPath Platform RPA,challenges are limited because the environment is already built around structured automation.

Adding agentic AI on top of the same automation foundation typically does not create issues and progress continues and gives the enterprise a back bone where all RPA and aentic AI and user escalation are in one platform ;the real friction shows up when unstructured elements are introduced and the customer expects  -AI-only orchestration without budgeting for the extra runtime/robot capacity and exception handling needed to keep operations reliable.

UiPath Academy has been a key enabler since first starting with UiPath in 2019,and the training catalog is broad and accessible, which helps teams ramp up faster even when some technical modules are more demanding.

UiPath remains the best product option in many enterprise contexts, but for small entrepreneurs (e.g., in France) where annual platform cost is a blocker, and the resitance to change is a big deal , AWS-based automation building blocks can be a pragmatic alternative.

After deploying UiPath Platform, the delivery approach depends on the client base: if the environment is not yet well structured or the team is not trained, assigning a managed service for maintenance and operational support helps stabilize and sustain the automation program.

My overall rating for UiPath Platform is 9 out of 10.

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Automation has reduced manual work and has saved several full-time roles across departments

  • December 19, 2025
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

My use case involves developing robots because I worked as a consultant before and worked with multiple domains like banking, insurance, and healthcare, where I automated monotonous processes. This is my use case where we build a robot, and that is what is mainly used for this tool.

What is most valuable?

What I appreciate about UiPath Platform is that it is very user-friendly and continuously updates the product according to market trends, which I prefer compared to other competitive tools.

UiPath Platform has reduced human error and freed up time in many cases where we have removed the entire department, and in many cases we have freed half of their work. As a consultant, I can explain this in technical or non-technical terms. We do not talk about the hours we saved; we talk about the FTEs, which means the full-time employment we saved. I think we save approximately five or six FTEs in a year.

What needs improvement?

An area where UiPath Platform has room for improvement is that they do not have a local source code saving opportunity where we need to save it in our local file or a local PC. They do not have that capability compared to Blue Prism, which directly saves the source code in a database. In UiPath, they don't have that opportunity. Even if I lose my laptop and develop personally, if I lose my laptop, then the entire source code is gone. The tool should not be device-dependent; it should be a cloud-dependent tool.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using UiPath Platform since 2017.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

My thoughts on the stability of UiPath Platform are that sometimes we have an issue where they do an update from their side that impacts our robots, especially on a weekend, which is a disaster. I would give it a 4.5 out of 10.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

I would rate the scalability of UiPath Platform as highly scalable because they have already integrated a lot of AI features inside the tool, which is truly appreciable. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would say 9.

How are customer service and support?

I would rate their technical support as an 8 out of 10.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

What was our ROI?

I would recommend UiPath Platform to other users, and the first important advice I would give is to check out UiPath Academy, which is very good. Also, the community edition, which is available online from UiPath, allows us to use the tool and learn on one single platform. That is only provided by UiPath. I recommend UiPath Platform because it is user-friendly and cost-effective, and we can get our ROI within six months.

What other advice do I have?

I have not started using the agentic automation in UiPath Platform because I took a course last year at a conference, and I think we have not got any use case for that. I am in dialogue with my management on how we use that going forward because it is still emerging, so we have not got any use case for that.

My thoughts on UiPath Academy courses are that the first thing is they are free, and the second thing is they have a lot of useful insights where it gives the complete product overview and what is included. The missing part is that as a course, we need proper understanding of English or proper communication skills, which is boring when compared to all the other courses available online.

When I compare UiPath Platform with other products, I see that everything is perfect with UiPath Platform in terms of pricing, user-friendliness, capability, and efficiency. I would give it a 9 out of 10, while for other products, I would give 7 or 6 because there are a lot of other flaws in those tools. The only problem I have is that it is device-dependent, and that is the reason I have taken one point down from UiPath Platform.

On a scale of 1 to 10 for pricing, I rate UiPath Platform between 6 to 7. UiPath made a complex design on the licensing part. Each license has different pricing, such as a developer license, production license, or tester license. They made it not very simple. If you compare with other tools, they made it very simple. You buy a production license and get a developer license along with that for free. I think that looks very simple.

The hands-on users of UiPath Platform in my organization would be around 15 to 20. It is a public sector in the whole of Denmark. If I include that, we have around 300 or more developers in the complete Denmark public sector, and in my department, we are around 10. For usage, we have around 300 or more robots.

I do not think the solution requires maintenance; it is not a complex one. UiPath made it very simple, and I appreciate that.

My take on the AI aspect of UiPath Platform is that it is the next future. I think it is also an emerging area where people think AI can do everything, but it is not true; it still needs to be checked. The robots are the main important thing for sourcing the data to the AI. Both are very important. AI is the future, but not so early.

I would rate this review an 8 out of 10 overall.

Intelligent automation has transformed manual data work and now cuts human error dramatically

  • December 18, 2025
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

My use case is automating all manual processes that our clients face difficulty working on, such as data extraction and automation of all data entries. I automate all kinds of manual efforts for the clients.

How has it helped my organization?

From my experience, UiPath Platform has reduced human error by removing manual work, and it has reduced almost 70 to 80% of manual efforts. One of our clients who works for Tally used to spend the entire day completing ledger solutions, but after automating that, it was completed within one to two hours, saving almost 70 to 80% of the person's time.

What is most valuable?

I use agentic automation to help with challenges, and I also use agentic AI in UiPath Platform. In my opinion, it is a good thing because when we use agentic AI, the AI-powered agent observes, decides, plans, and acts automatically to complete tasks instead of following fixed-based rules for the workflows. I appreciate the agentic AI workflows.

With agentic automation, it helps to leverage people, robots, and AI agents to automate processes by having Document Understanding integrated with LLMs, such as Action Centers. I value the LLM parts for that.

The best feature in UiPath Platform, according to me, is the intelligent automation platform that combines modern RPA, AI, Orchestrator, and a strong governance ecosystem in one. We are using modern UI activated, unified targets, and it acts as a single-click activity type, where Orchestrator serves as the central control of all the robots, scheduling, and monitoring, while also having assets for securing our credentials. Additionally, it includes VPN work, a built-in retry mechanism, structured explanation management, easy scaling of queues, Document Understanding for invoice handling and PDFs, ML-based extractions, agentic AI, and autopilots for natural language automations and fewer rule dependencies. That is why I feel UiPath Platform is the best.

The improvements I have noticed in UiPath Platform over the last three years are significant. When we started using UiPath Platform, it was on the classic mode, and now it integrates with modern solutions, offering a UI and AI-native development experience with features such as AI Builder, screenplay, APIs, workflows, and UX enhancements. They are working on fresh designs, updating panel docking, and navigating through logical and sequence views. I see stronger automation on cloud capabilities with automatic cloud continuous updates, focusing on indexing, contacting, and AI automation. The new addition of agentic AI is also invaluable for agenting apps and agentic extractions. While Orchestrator and other features were already present, they are now significantly upgraded, including cloud testing and agentic testing, which reflect the changes over time within three years.

What needs improvement?

In terms of areas for improvement, UiPath Platform needs to address the high licensing costs in India, making it difficult for small teams to estimate and manage the expenses. Additionally, there is room for better performance in UI automation as it sometimes feels slow for heavy web applications. Upgrading browsers often breaks selectors, so UI performance and the browser dependency can be optimized further. We should reduce reliance on fragile UI clicks for UI automation. I believe we need a stronger API-first integration approach and increased native connectors as many tools such as Studio, Data Understanding, AI Center, and Orchestrator can overwhelm new users. We can provide learning paths inside Studio for smart automation templates and improve the stability of desktop automation for legacy and Citrix automation. Improvements in OCR accuracy and image recognition speed are also necessary. Furthermore, we can enhance transparency in agentic AI decision-making to avoid "black box" scenarios and boost confidence in scoring visibility. While UiPath Platform has no major weaknesses, areas for simplicity and transparency remain to be improved.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using the solution for the last 2.9 years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Regarding stability, I rate it at 10. UiPath Platform is very stable without significant issues.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

It is scalable for my business, but I provide a rating of nine for the scalability aspect.

How are customer service and support?

The user community is a better place for addressing issues where we can post our queries, and the community is always helpful in providing solutions. That is a good aspect.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I have used UiPath Platform, Power Automate, Blue Prism, and a little of Automation Anywhere. In my opinion, for any mid-scale to large enterprise solution, UiPath Platform is the best among these options and remains at the top of the competition. However, I feel that Power Automate has a good advantage for cloud-to-desktop and desktop-to-cloud automation.

How was the initial setup?

The deployment process itself is easy and not too complicated. For someone who has used UiPath Platform before, it is straightforward. However, for beginners, it can seem quite challenging at first, but eventually, it becomes manageable after a few deployments.

What about the implementation team?

There are mainly 10 to 12 persons using UiPath Platform.

What other advice do I have?

Regarding the Academy courses, I gain a lot of new knowledge from Academy automation. I am updated with all the latest information, gaining insights into how to utilize UiPath Platform effectively, which provides additional learning resources for us. Academy is a great asset as it allows users to stay well-informed about new updates without stress.

I would recommend UiPath Platform to other users because it is proficient in AI, Document Understanding, and a range of other functions, making it a valuable tool. However, I also recognize that many clients in India face budget constraints regarding such expensive solutions, indicating that UiPath Platform needs to consider pricing for wider adoption. I have provided an overall review rating of 8 for UiPath Platform.

Automation has improved development workflows and now extracts meaningful insights from errors

  • December 17, 2025
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

Today I faced an issue installing the unattended robot in the production machine. I signed in with the robot account and entered the client ID and secret. The system did not recognize the license and was not giving me a proper response. I did not understand what the actual issue was and searched for the community guidelines as well. I had no issues when configuring a business user, an automation developer, or any other users, but I felt discomfort when onboarding a robot account into UiPath Platform Orchestration and connecting that with the production machine.

I am not using Agentic automation in any of my production environments, but I am using it for development purposes. I am exploring the platform on the Agentic side. I was working on a use case where I wanted to extract meaningful data from a chunk of error messages. I used Maestro for that and it was working very well, so the user can easily correlate with the actual issue.

What is most valuable?

The Agentic response when using some ML activities or AI activities is getting generated with Maestro. Those are up to the standard. I used Maestro to extract meaningful data from error messages and it worked very well.

The developer-friendly environment and the resolution to the problems faced inside UiPath Platform are very fast, and the customer support service as well as the development-friendly environment make deployment and development processes easier.

What needs improvement?

One thing which I can suggest is to integrate the CI/CD pipeline within UiPath Platform Orchestration. That will be the next step to get into a full Agentic service within UiPath Platform. I am currently using some external CI/CD pipelines, like Azure or others, and integrating them inside UiPath Platform would be an easy-to-go solution for anyone.

The sales approach is a bit slow. It almost took a month to complete the entire sales process and just get the final quote from UiPath Platform US sales team. There was also some discomfort in selecting the packages. The AI unit bundle flexibility in pricing is missing. I wanted to buy a smaller portion of AI units but needed to purchase a large bundle.

Recently, I faced an outage issue with Cloudflare, resulting in being unable to connect UiPath Platform with UiPath Platform Orchestration, and some of the UiPath Platform Orchestration services were down. This was the first time I faced a stability issue.

I expected faster support during a production deployment issue. I got email communication, but a call would have been faster, resolving the issue more quickly.

For how long have I used the solution?

In the past six years, I never faced an issue, but in the last couple of months, I faced a Cloudflare outage issue where I was not able to connect UiPath Platform with UiPath Platform Orchestration.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

In the last couple of months, I faced a Cloudflare outage issue leading to problems connecting UiPath Platform with UiPath Platform Orchestration, along with some services being down. This was my first encounter with a stability issue after six years of experience without any outages.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Scalability is not an issue. Configuring the machines is straightforward with the use of machine templates. After the first configuration, scaling the same process to multiple machines just involves assigning users and adding the machines to the templates, making it an easy process.

How are customer service and support?

I used to connect with technical support. Recently, I faced an issue in configuring the templates and assigning the user from the UiPath Platform Orchestrator tenant. I contacted the technical support team, and they assisted me in resolving that issue quickly through email.

The reason for rating eight is that the email support was good but slower than expected when I had a production deployment issue. I expected quicker response times, preferably through calls, which could resolve issues faster.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I used AssistEdge, an RPA tool from Infosys, and Power Automate, which is from Microsoft.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup, including the machine setup, takes at least a day, but if the machine is already set up, it is just a one to two-hour task.

What about the implementation team?

Only one person will do the deployment.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Pricing is a bit costlier compared to Power Automate, but the same as AssistEdge. It delivers as expected, so the charge is acceptable.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

For some cases, I prefer Microsoft Power Automate because of its cloud-integrated connections, such as creating a flow triggered by a Microsoft email, which is not as straightforward in UiPath Platform. Integration services could be improved within UiPath Platform.

What other advice do I have?

Deployment is a straightforward task, but ensuring integration of the CI/CD pipeline within UiPath Platform Orchestration would enhance the ease of use. I rate this review an eight overall.

Automation has reduced errors, accelerated reporting, and simplified learning across industries

  • December 17, 2025
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

My use case primarily revolves around automating processes in the finance, insurance, automobile, aeronautical, multimedia, and retail sectors. I automated processes in applications like SAP and Oracle, focusing on ERP type applications, API automation, Excel, and web-based automation. These are the areas where I have implemented automation.

What is most valuable?

The best features of UiPath Platform, in my experience, relate to how accessible the learning resources are compared to other RPA tools. You can find a high volume of data from UiPath Academy or YouTube, making it easy for anyone to learn UiPath Platform. There is no time bound for using UiPath Platform; you can install the Community edition, automate your processes, and easily complete modular certifications. Other RPA tools, such as Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism, have time limits for free use, while UiPath Platform allows unlimited access once you install the Community edition. Most of the features in UiPath Platform, including Agentic AI, Process Mining, data engineering, and document understanding, can be accessed without limits.

Additionally, premium features are available in the Enterprise edition, and transitioning from Community to Enterprise requires merely raising a request. Overall, I find UiPath Platform comfortable and easy to use, and they continuously upgrade their tools and functionalities.

Regarding agentic automation, one of the challenges I sought to overcome by leveraging people, robots, and AI agents in automating processes was the difficulty of integrating multiple applications through UiPath Platform Agentic AI. Recently, UiPath Platform introduced UiPath Maestro, which has significantly resolved many of these problems. I have developed several Agentic AI processes using UiPath Maestro, and everything has worked well. Furthermore, with my prior experience in prompt engineering, UiPath Platform Agentic AI training has instructed me on writing prompts effectively, so I do not face any issues during the development of Agentic processes.

I can say that UiPath Platform has reduced human error by almost 90 percent when compared to doing tasks manually.

What needs improvement?

To improve, I notice a concern regarding support. For instance, if a vendor encounters an issue with UiPath Platform and is unable to resolve it via UiPath Platform developers or architects, they may raise a support ticket, but there can be delays in response. Additionally, for users who are not vendors but have paid for a UiPath Platform license, reaching the support team can be difficult if they do not respond promptly.

Regarding the pricing of UiPath Platform, I find it expensive compared to other RPA tools.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using UiPath Platform for over the last seven plus years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

In terms of stability, I would rate it nine out of ten.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

For scalability, I would rate it ten out of ten.

How are customer service and support?

I would rate vendor support as seven out of ten.

The community surrounding UiPath Platform resembles a free edition tool, with its own community forums. Developers and architects using UiPath Platform can post questions about challenges they face, facilitating a community communication environment where their queries are answered, and discussions take place, similar to social media interactions.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

How was the initial setup?

The deployment process of UiPath Platform is very easy. We utilize the CI/CD pipeline, which allows for seamless integration of bot deployment. There is no need to perform additional steps; pushing the code automatically deploys it into the Orchestrator. In earlier deployments, we had to manually publish our code and update many assets in the Orchestrator, but with the CI/CD pipeline, deployment becomes significantly easier.

What was our ROI?

The amount of time that UiPath Platform automation has freed up from doing manual work depends on the complexity of the process. For instance, in one recently developed reporting process that interacts with Excel and SAP, processing a report file with nearly 300 items would take an hour manually. However, with the automation bot, we complete the entire reporting in about two minutes. That is a significant time saving compared to the one hour it takes manually for processing each item.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

When comparing UiPath Platform with other tools, I observe that UiPath Platform is a giant in the automation industry and is continuously developing its tools. Other tools such as Blue Prism and Automation Anywhere seem outdated, receiving few updates. One competitive tool, Microsoft Power Automate, poses some challenges for UiPath Platform, but overall, I find UiPath Platform to be leading in advancement.

What other advice do I have?

Monitoring the tone or sentiment in messages affects operations by facilitating automation. However, I initially struggled to understand the specific implication regarding sentiment. UiPath Platform provides tools, including Excel-based tools within the Automation Hub, where users can submit processes intended for automation and gather relevant information for business analysis. This hub can analyze how many activities are being automated and the benefits derived from such automation.

The biggest benefit I have seen from UiPath Academy courses is the ease of learning and the abundance of exercises provided. If a learner faces challenges in completing an exercise, solutions are also provided. The training progresses from basic to advanced levels, and the training modules feature excellent videos and explanations. If anyone wants to learn UiPath Platform, they can do so effectively through UiPath Academy portal and master the platform.

Automating actions or responses according to messages aligns with the purpose of automation, which is removing human dependency. Automating communication and sentiment analysis can significantly enhance operational efficiencies and improve automation processes overall.

Our clients are primarily medium-sized businesses.

UiPath Platform does require some maintenance, as UiPath Platform continuously upgrades its tools and packages. If there are major issues, updates are necessary; otherwise, regular updates for packages and processes may not be required.

UiPath Platform is purchased through a partner connection, and certain conditions must be met, including the number of licenses purchased. If you meet the required volume, you can partner directly with UiPath Platform; if not, you must complete a solution SSN certification to partner with them.

I have provided this review with an overall rating of eight out of ten.

What is our primary use case?

Our use case for automating with UiPath Platform involves different types of processes, such as processing documents like invoices that need to be updated into the SAP system on a daily basis for payment processing, mimicking the steps that a human user performs.

What is most valuable?

The best features I appreciate about UiPath Platform are its continuous growth and improvement, evolving from standard automation to more advanced agentic solutions which enhance decision-making capabilities.

UiPath Platform serves as a comprehensive solution for all business processes to be automated, including features such as communication mining that extract automated processes from business users and UiPath Insights for reporting benefits from our automations, including hours saved and business value saved.

With agentic automation on UiPath Platform, I handle components like people, robots, and AI agents through a centralized platform, the UiPath Orchestrator, which allows business users to monitor, manage, and trigger their automations at desired times.

What needs improvement?

I have been using UiPath Platform for nine years now, and one area for improvement I find challenging is the frequency of product updates; rapid upgrades, such as from version 2022 to 2024, complicate the migration process for organizations with many automations, especially those running on legacy systems.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using UiPath Platform for nine years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

In terms of stability, I would rate UiPath Platform a nine.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Regarding scalability, I find it to be a scalable solution, rating it an eight out of ten.

How are customer service and support?

I would rate the technical support for UiPath Platform an eight.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I prefer UiPath Platform over other software such as Power Automate, ranking it first due to its long-standing presence and the ease of use it offers compared to newer tools, particularly because I have experience working with both.

How was the initial setup?

Deployment timelines for UiPath Platform vary by project; for low-complexity automation projects, it typically takes around three to four weeks from start to finish.

The setup for monitoring tone or sentiment in messages entirely depends on how each organization configures its communication, as there are different ways to install the product, both cloud-based and on-premises.

What about the implementation team?

In my organization, there are over 100 business users utilizing UiPath Platform for their automation needs, while a development team of 10 focuses on developing those automation processes.

What was our ROI?

Since automating with UiPath Platform, human error has reduced to 0% because the process we automate relies on the standard process that humans perform, and it is significantly faster; for example, while a human takes about five minutes to send an email and raise a ticket, automation reduces that time to just a couple of seconds.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Regarding pricing, I find UiPath Platform to be relatively cost-efficient compared to other automation tools on the market, ranking it first against options such as Blue Prism and Automation Anywhere, particularly when considering the value and capabilities offered.

Currently in my organization, I am deploying UiPath Platform on-premises, but I am considering a hybrid option to leverage some cloud features due to our security requirements.

Automation has reduced manual claims and invoice work while AI now processes documents accurately

  • December 08, 2025
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

UiPath Platform offers numerous scenarios for implementation. I think of it as building robots that connect systems that would not normally be able to talk to each other. For instance, automating tasks on different systems such as collecting data from an Excel file and loading it to a web application or a CRM. For example, a bot can scrape all the bestsellers on AWS. You can use it to collect data repeatedly, and that automation will also be able to load it into an application through the user interface, mimicking human actions. I have used it in the insurance sector where I am automating claim registration on the system.

The main task of RPA with UiPath Platform is to reduce the manual workload in offices, especially for repetitive tasks. For example, someone keeps typing every day while going through PDF files and capturing the data into a system. With UiPath Platform, you can reduce inaccuracy and process many documents very quickly using RPA robots. A good scenario is a company receiving hundreds of invoices through email from customers. The bot can monitor the inbox, extract the attached files, extract data using OCR, and log in to an application to load the data correctly.

The use of agentic automation in UiPath Platform has transformed from rule-based logic using if statements to AI agents that analyze data to make decisions. This is particularly useful when dealing with unstructured data, such as invoices with different layouts. AI can classify and extract data accurately.

I have worked with both Azure Cloud and AWS and Google Cloud for UiPath Platform. In most of the cases that I work on, we deploy the bot in containers. You will build desktop servers using platforms such as Azure DevOps because we are Agile. The key is to use a cloud environment to clone production configurations to avoid bot failures during deployment.

How would you rate primary use case?

Positive

What is most valuable?

UiPath Platform's ability to automate repetitive tasks and maintain accuracy is a significant improvement for organizations. By reducing manual workloads, companies can process more documents efficiently. AI enhances the automation capabilities when analyzing unstructured data, offering accurate data extraction even with varying document layouts. This advancement reduces the chance of errors and improves turnaround times significantly.

Another standout feature of UiPath Platform is its stability and reliability, especially when compared to other technologies such as WorkFusion. The platform offers a robust framework, which simplifies building complex automations. It integrates seamlessly with external systems, using tools such as managed packages to connect with services such as AWS, Salesforce, and SAP. UiPath Platform's capacity to work with AI and machine learning via Document Understanding adds further value.

UiPath Academy provides excellent resources for mastering advanced components such as AI Actions and Orchestrator, allowing users to schedule processes and implement triggers for automations. Furthermore, UiPath Platform offers a community where users can quickly find support and share knowledge, enabling the construction of complex automation solutions.

What needs improvement?

The cost of licensing and using UiPath Platform is a primary area for improvement, particularly for small businesses. While large companies might see a return on investment, the steep pricing can be prohibitive for smaller enterprises trying to implement RPA solutions.

In past versions, issues with web application selectors were a concern, where dynamic elements could cause the bot to fail. These issues have seen improvements, with methods such as using anchors to locate elements more effectively. However, ensuring consistent and stable deployments across different environments remains a challenge due to possible variations in environment settings that might cause some components to fail.

Automation has reduced financial workloads and delivers strong efficiency despite recent bugs

  • December 04, 2025
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

UiPath Platform is used for building enterprise robots to speed up work in FinTech departments, automating use cases relevant to financial businesses. For some of the use cases, UiPath Platform has provided a 60% reduction in manual time effort, and human error has been reduced by 80% because the system performs great work with proper exception handling.

What is most valuable?

UiPath Platform is very robust compared to other platforms and is very easy to use with a friendly UI. It has a lot of creative potential that can be implemented. UiPath Platform has helped reduce manual work by eight hours per day, and over the whole year, it has benefited the company and firm significantly in terms of pricing, budget, and cost. The team is looking forward to using it in other processes that are in queue.

What needs improvement?

The newer version that has been upgraded has some bugs in it because the studio is not working properly as it was in the previous version. When making bots, there are selector issues where elements that need to be clicked cannot be properly selected or passed on to other team members.

The new version is causing issues, sometimes crashing, and selectors cannot be opened. When it crashes, all work must be redone, which is very annoying. The UI is very advanced and looks great, but the selector issues and crashing still persist.

When a bot is developed in two or three hours, it should not crash suddenly and force a redo of the work. The team is automating processes to reduce time, yet this issue increases development time. An update would be greatly appreciated so that work can be done better.

The stability of UiPath Platform was a nine in older versions, but now it has dropped to an eight because of the annoying issues where it crashes after a lot of work has been completed, forcing a redo. Having deadlines and having it crash repeatedly is very frustrating. Feedback could be provided to the team responsible for looking at these bugs to explain what the issue is referring to.

For how long have I used the solution?

The UiPath Platform has been used for almost the whole career, spanning about five years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The issue being faced while developing bots is that it sometimes crashes on its own during work, or it is not picking up the selectors. If selectors are opened, it is just not allowing editing or making them dynamic.

The stability of UiPath Platform was a nine in older versions, but now it has dropped to an eight because of the annoying issues where it crashes after a lot of work has been completed, forcing a redo. Having deadlines and having it crash repeatedly is very frustrating.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

In terms of scalability, UiPath Platform is definitely scalable.

How are customer service and support?

The technical support for UiPath Platform is very good. Contact with the IT support team was made last year, and their response was timely, allowing issues to be resolved effectively, which is good in comparison to other tools.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup of UiPath Platform is very straightforward, and anyone, even a non-technical person, can do it.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Power Automate and Automation Anywhere have also been used, but UiPath is majorly in all processes. In comparison with Power Automate, it is a much more complex platform. UiPath has all the templates ready to be built and has the REFramework, which is very suitable for complex solutions because all the exception handling is ready to go, and the solution just needs to be integrated, and then it is ready to run. On the contrary, Automation Anywhere and Power Automate are very complex because everything must be done from scratch, and there is not much advancement or variety of activities in those platforms.

What other advice do I have?

Agentic Automation in UiPath Platform has not been used yet, but it is something to look forward to, and a new certification is being pursued. There will likely be some use cases in the team to replicate that. Monitoring the tone or sentiment in messages is not a current focus. UiPath Academy is used to learn about new things coming, like Agentic AI, and work is being done on that as well. The team is also working on the document understanding feature that UiPath Platform has for developing custom models.

UiPath Academy has been very helpful, especially for learning new features. The videos and descriptions about everything are very good, explanatory, and detailed. The documentation and the UiPath forum are also very beneficial because many issues are already posted there and resolved, making it easy to find solutions or resolution notes.

The thoughts on the UiPath Platform user community are very positive. It is great because other platforms lack such a community. If a search is needed for something about an error in Power Automate, it is challenging to find a solution because the documentation is very limited. In contrast, UiPath Platform community is vast, filled with talented individuals, with technical support staff often commenting on posts, which is very helpful. The community should continue that great work.

UiPath Platform has advanced very quickly. It would be recommended to other companies or startups because, compared to other products, UiPath Platform is excelling in marketing, technological advancements, and community services. Automation is needed to minimize manual processes, save money, and save time.

The overall review rating for UiPath Platform is 8.5 out of 10.

Automation has transformed daily Excel and email tasks and supports large-scale business processes

  • December 03, 2025
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

I work for a company with many use cases that we have handled. We are working with different departments of the company and have automated their daily basis tasks.

The main use cases include Excel automation and email automation. We did not use communication mining.

What is most valuable?

I think it is easy to use, and the main feature is that you can handle a large scale of automation with it.

I am working with UiPath Platform for automation. The main benefits that I have seen from UiPath Platform are that we are using the Enterprise version, and there are more than 100 processes in which we are working. It is working fine, and mostly we are using Excel automation, which is not giving any failures; it is working very well.

I think the environment of UiPath Platform is very human-friendly and easy to use. If I want to add something, I can add it from the dependencies, the packages, or I can download from UiPath store as well. For complex projects, we can use things from UiPath.

What needs improvement?

There are a lot of things to improve, but we actually automated their business tasks; that is why we are not needing to change anything.

I did not think of anything. I think they are developing very well; everything we think of, they put it on there. There is no need for something additional.

I do not think about disadvantages right now, but you can say the only con is the price; it is costly compared to Power Automate, which is not much.

What you think in your mind about new things, UiPath Platform already puts there; there is no need to add or ask for things to add, as they are already added.

For how long have I used the solution?

It has been four years that I have been working with UiPath Platform.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

We have handled this with multiple exception handling. We are using exception handling so that if any error occurs, the bot handles it.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

We have not experienced scalability issues yet.

How are customer service and support?

I have escalated questions to the technical support team one or two times. I asked some questions about updating UiPath Platform, and they supported us very well through Zoom and by email as well.

I think four out of five for the tech support.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I have started my career with UiPath Platform and till now I am using this, so it has been four years, and because of UiPath Platform, I am working in a very large company right now.

How was the initial setup?

Before this company, I was using the Community version, which was working like Enterprise. We can use the Community version for our production as well. There is a UiPath community as well, and if we have any questions regarding anything updated in UiPath Platform, we can get answers from there; there are multiple MVPs who support very well.

What about the implementation team?

An implementation team was used.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The price is costly, but our company is paying for it, so we are not involving ourselves in that aspect. I think it is very costly, but depending on our use, it is worth it.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I think it is Power Automate, the competitor of UiPath Platform right now.

What other advice do I have?

If we want to learn anything, we are going to learn from UiPath Academy and from YouTube as well.

We can learn easily from UiPath Academy, and their explanation is very good.

I will definitely recommend UiPath Platform as a product or solution to others.

I think that UiPath Platform is the number one RPA tool right now. The price is high because they are giving everything in one platform; that is why I think they are asking that much money. The price can be good for other countries, but we are right now in Pakistan, and in Pakistan, this price is very large.

I gave this review a rating of nine out of ten.
