We spent about a year researching remote support products and BT was the very best and we have loved it the last year we've had it.

The downloads still stay bomgar instead of BT

What do you like best about the product?
Having easily managed jump groups and quick remoteability is key in our tier 1 help-desk role. We're a large mid-west retailer and need to be react and address issues quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have personally not spent enough time within Remote Support to discover anything I truly dislike about it, or atleast anything that we can't configure and modify to our liking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enabling quick and full-access to a user's device or a POS, as well as the ability to transfer files to and from systems, gives us immense ability to solve problems. Personally, being able to transfer tools to a system makes for much easier troubleshooting than having to navigate to each website, downloading, and setting up portable installtions of each.

What do you like best about the product?
it works well, and it's flexible/configurable to suit our security requirements, support and learning is organised and well delivered.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing really, but our implementation could be improved, so i guess some engagement if required from our side to get this done.

our service desk and support teams use it to connect to devices to support onshore/offshore/remote users etc.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can configure BeyondTrust Remote Support within your domain's enviroment and that you can also group devices according to catergories, BeyondTrust Remote Support has several remote tools to support remote work like changing client display resolution, blocking client actions while you on the client's host machine etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can only dislike a few things about this tool, it is finely tuned for remote support but one of the few things that happen while you use BeyondTrust Remote Support is that the connection drops spontaneously and times connecting to a host machine can take several attempts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BeyondTrust Remote Supportsolves our need to assist remote workers with their technical issues promptly and easily, it reduces the downtime of wanting to get to the physical machine but instead we are able to remote into the host machine without any hassles and resolve the issues the client has.
Good but not perfect

The tool is easy to use and the password handling is working well.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you have more than 50000 machines onboarded the tool is slow.

Remote support and local administrator password solution for our enterprise business.
BeyondTrust Remote Support makes remote support easy.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and flexible. The ability to log back in automatically after a reboot allows for a more user friendly and efficient support session.

There are too many features. Sometimes simple works better.

The ability to login to an unattended system. This allows us to work independently without the need of a user being onsite.
Good feature set, well priced if on-prem

Bomgar is a reliable option, having reviewed several other solutions recently it's feature reach. We have the on-prem hosted solution which makes it cost effective (we have perputual licenses from years ago)

It works very well, the only thing that can occassionally trip us up is a brief period to apply updates to the appliance, but that's not particularly problematic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to easily and reliably remotely support our users, on a range of devices. Mostly Windows and Apple., but some linux, chrombook and others.

The easy that you can improve your security for all your sessions, and you can do easier your life to connect to all your devices and you can have logs or recordings of your sessions

maybe that at the beginning could be difficult to implement if you don't know what your assets are and how are store all your users also it's a little bit expensive

In our case we solved the issue that we could not monitor all the users that are login, with this solution we can prevent that the user share their credentials and also we can have logs for all session that we do
Great tool to connect remotely to internal customers
What do you like best about the product?
The easilbilty to connect to customers via IP Address, computer name or push via email.

I have no dislikes about BeyondTrust RS!!!

BeyondTrust allows me to easily assist customers by not only seeing their computer access, but also being able to control actions on their machine.

What is our primary use case?
My company uses BeyondTrust Remote Support to provide remote support to our customers and clients.
What is most valuable?
The most valuable feature of the solution concerns our company's main use case, which is for connection to our remote clients. I am not very good with BeyondTrust since my team uses it.
What needs improvement?
The local partners for BeyondTrust Remote Support are not enough in numbers. There are not enough product partners in Turkey, making it difficult for me to get assistance. The aforementioned area can be considered for improvement.

I have been using BeyondTrust Remote Support for five years. I am a customer of the product.

It is a very stable solution.

It is a scalable solution since there have been no performance issues.

The initial setup was easy. One can install it very easily.

BeyondTrust Remote Support is a very expensive product.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
My company chose BeyondTrust Remote Support over other products since it possesses session recording capabilities. If our customers wish to have some clips, our company provides videos or screenshots using the tool's recording capabilities.
What other advice do I have?
I can recommend the product, but it is important to note that it is expensive.
Though I am not a very good expert with BeyondTrust Remote Support, I think one can get and use another product very cheaply. If you compare BeyondTrust, to the other products, you can get other products for very cheap rates. BeyondTrust is a really good product overall, but it is expensive for my company.
Overall, I rate the solution a seven out of ten.
