What do you like best about the product?
WSO2 Enterprise Integrator stands out for its comprehensive support for various integration patterns, including REST, SOAP, JMS, and Kafka, making it highly versatile. As an open-source platform, it offers strong flexibility and customization options, supported by a wide range of connectors. Its lightweight architecture, cloud-native readiness, and seamless integration with WSO2 API Manager further enhance its appeal for modern enterprise needs. The graphical Integration Studio also simplifies development and accelerates deployment.

WSO2 Enterprise Integrator has a steep learning curve, particularly due to its XML-based configurations. While it offers extensive features, some users find the documentation lacking clarity for practical implementation. Additionally, community support is limited compared to commercial support, which may be necessary for critical enterprise deployments.

Impressive Integration Capabilities with Strong Potential for Hospitality Use Cases
What do you like best about the product?
From the demos at WSO2Con, it’s clear that WSO2 Integrator offers a powerful and flexible platform for enterprise integration. The low-code tooling for building integration flows, along with built-in support for APIs, events, and messaging, stood out. As someone from the hospitality sector, I see strong potential for using WSO2 Integrator to bridge systems like PMS, POS, ERP, and payment gateways. The ability to expose internal services as APIs, handle transformations, and orchestrate workflows in real time is critical for modern hospitality operations, especially with multi-property setups and third-party vendors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since my exposure was limited to the demos, it’s hard to evaluate real-world complexity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WSO2 Integrator addresses the challenge of connecting siloed systems across complex environments. In the hospitality sector, we often deal with fragmented systems—PMS, POS, ERP, CRM, payment platforms, and third-party booking engines—all needing reliable, real-time communication. From what we saw in the demos, WSO2 Integrator provides a centralized way to manage integrations, automate workflows, and expose services securely via APIs.
