What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace is a one stop shop for firms looking to gain a competitive edge by gaining valuable, actionable insights into the performance of their underlying applications and supporting infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Functionally, Dynatrace hits all the nails on the head. From APM to RUM to deep container security, Dynatrace has customer satisfaction at the top of mind. That said there is a slow ramp up period for new users to get up to speed with the product both in terms of end user administration and overall deployments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dynatrace provides a single pane of glass type solution to clearly identify performance issues throughout the application stack; from servers and storage through database and cache, applications and even end user performance.
Application end to end monitoring
What do you like best about the product?
I like `Dynatrace mainly the depth of the capabilities it has in application end to end monitoring. Similar APM tools does it but only through code injection on java or .net applications but `Dynatrace has both code level and packet capturing and analyze entire data flow through the wire. it also good in end user experience monitroing
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though Dynatrace has packet capture technology still there are certain application like SAP and `Skype for business we are not able to fully monitor like similar java or .net application
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to solve application performance monitoring and issues with SAP and `skype for business
Recommendations to others considering the product:
CAN BE BETTER ALTERNATE FOR SOME LIMITED CAPABILITY APM TOOLS
Dynatrace is very user friendly. All configurations are automatic
What do you like best about the product?
Everything bundled in OneAgent. You install the Agent and leave to Dynatrace. Smart scale View is the best one, I liked
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is little high, but I understand quality comes with cost
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Application Slowness and code reviews are mostl of the problems resolved by Dynatrace
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Pricing Structure to be more simplified and Network Monitoring is desired.
One Agent and Cloud Integrations are on point
What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace keeps adding monitoring for the things that I am actively doing. Aka containers / serverless/ cloud
What do you dislike about the product?
I can’t stand how they do licensing as memory based.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are so many devices and browsers now days that create a massive problem for production support. A good APM provides facts to solve problems and avoids guesses and opinions.

Having ML/AI doing some work on reduce noise

Nothing so far, need to explore other features

Why not use Dynatrace to track your problems?
What do you like best about the product?
`I like the ability to see the all the ways to track a problem from end to end, using this has been a much better way to track those issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
`I would like to see that we could get this tracking on the HPUX as well to help in finding some of the issues we are getting on the `unix side as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are now using this to track the ability to resolve problems from slow response to just outages from web services that are not responding for us, now we can start to do full stack traces and locate issues from SQL to just some firewall rule that was put into place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a monitoring system that can use AI to learn the system and then start to dream out your system for you, this is very helpful when you have over 65 different systems that are running and the need for up time is so valuable and customers can be effected with some of the outages that might happen.

The speaker went through the slides very fast, it should have been bit slower. It was bit difficult to catchup with the speaker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to move to oneagent from app on. The new services are in kubernetes environment. This session gave lot of details about the oneagent.
