Dynatrace is the future. Great product, vendor support, and easy interface. Overall, Great!
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of the interface, the assistance from the vendor. Great documentation and great implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently they dont have much Hyper-V support. I would also like to see more involvement on the Citrix software
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Application Monitoring, Infrastructure monitoring, and real time data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Implement this into your environment as fast as possible. Great product.
Love the tool
What do you like best about the product?
Like the proactive ability to monitor and alert problems before users are affected. Also easy to integrate with other core tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI is very busy and hard to navigate without training
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
real time monitoring
Dynatrace is Dynamite!
What do you like best about the product?
From an Ops perspective, Dynatrace has more than exceeded out expectations. Gone are the days where Infrastructure was first to blame for everything - Dynatrace provides a clear visualization of where problems lie and even suggests possible resolution. Empowering our users - from devops to marketing; management to procurement- to self-service has also freed up resourcing that can be better spent elsewhere. So great!
What do you dislike about the product?
When we inititally got Dynatrace the free logging features were great. Now, you have to ship logs to the cluster for full analysis at a cost. This is a show-stopper for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outages related to deployments/configs
the ability to prove end-to-end visibility to show when infrastructure is and isn't an issue
proactive site improvement based on waterfall analysis and seeing patterns
solving issues before the clients notice

Recommendations to others considering the product:
see above notes
Dynatrace a positive disruption
What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace has made monitoring a large application easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing model for large enterprises can be a bit difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving application performance issues leveraging the dependency mapping and breadth of Dynatraces portfolio.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just try it
Great product, but very expensive
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of deployment and updates is phenomenal. AI agent actually works vs just hype. Integration with AWS works great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really the only downside I've found is price. It's very expensive compared to others which means I wasn't able to monitor anything but prod and couldn't take advantage of features like RUM to the degree I would have preferred.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility, monitoring, alerting. Benefits of not having to update agents, pick different agents based on technology stacks, etc. Management zones make breaking things up easy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you understand your pricing going in from the beginning
Immediate Wins out of the Box
What do you like best about the product?
As a new user, I appreciate it's support for transaction ids, automatic discovery of services (mesh and otherwise) , inventory, etc which makes it trivial to see some immediate results.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a new user, Dynatrace has an extensive feature set and a steep learning curve. Would like to see more breakout sessions focusing on low hanging fruit when first installing and using the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a new user, the product has helped us identify gaps in coverage so to speak; we now know which snowflake servers etc do not have all of the required monitoring agents installed. We've also gathered evidence of specific bottlenecks. The next step is determining which metrics are actually useful to our business.
Transform our traditional teams into collaborative and functional areas!
What do you like best about the product?
Service level viz across the full stack from anything to dba's down to the vmware team seeing if we have CPU bullies on the network
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing at this point other than i'd like to see more custom dashboards
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
lack of visibility into all the networking and services across the stack
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start as soon as possible to avoid being disrupted
Solve problems before you know you had them
What do you like best about the product?
Platform is extensive for analytics (tech & business), troubleshooting and resolution. It quickly finds choke points and issues. The end-to-end correlation from front-end client to back-end app to underlying infrastructure is phenomenal.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a dislike but any tool this comprehensive requires knowledge of how best to use/leverage what is available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identifying issues before they reach production and identifying hotspots/problems once in production. Highlight areas in one tool that normally required many tools to correlate.
The only to go APM tool in the market
What do you like best about the product?
Session Replay, Davis, DEM and purepaths, APIs, ability to integrate with other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboarding is kind of incomplete and needs an overhaul. We saw these are being addressed in today' sessions and they seem to be by exciting. Ou ServiceNow integration is broken and need some dev effort to populate the ServiceNow and also ServiceNow development for mapping the assignment groups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Configuration issues, release issues, Latency issues, Resource Exhausion, Availability issues, etc
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Implement security realated analytics using OneAgent data
See more than ever
What do you like best about the product?
Simple installation, Davis AI, all in one tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
No price difference for a lot of features for SaaS and On-Prem users
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dramatically reduced MTTR and MTTD in case of outages, performance optimization.
