Access control and security for our staff
What do you like best about the product?
There are many things that standout for me when it comes to using Verkada. Here are the top 4.
The ease of use from a users and administrative perspective. Once we implemented the system, we were able to roll it out to our locations for security camera usage and access control, where we had permission.
The ability to use Bluetooth as the primary source for access, which allows us to forego purchasing access cards, integrate the solution with our IAM platform for automated user management.
The ability to give location based administrators access to administer their respective environment is a time saver.
Remote unlock feature, which allows for a successful hybrid environment. Deliveries, forgotten phones, etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
I see nothing as a downside to using Verkada.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are 2 big problems that Verkada solved for us. The first is purchasing cards, we are a non-profit and cycle through 1500 to 2000 volunteers on a yearly basis and moving to Bluetooth readers has saved us thousands of dollars. Being a hybrid environment, since the pandemic, we are still able to receive deliveries and services with the remote unlock capabilities provided.

the cost in slightly high and the data privacy concern because most are cloud based

Verkada Security Cameras follows high security standards
What do you like best about the product?
Verkada Security Cameras have very easy installation process, they have efficient customer support to help in any issues, i use Verkada security cameras frequently because it helps me monitor my home environment and they have quite a number of amazing features that helps users to understand how to use thei security product. It also comes with easy integration to my mobile phone and computers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Verkada products interface can sometime provide quite a number of features that makes navigating around it a little confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Verkada security cameras help solve problems of monitoring my children, pets, surrounding environments and visitors whoc come to my residence unnoticed. Verkada security camera provides a high security standard for me and my household and i do not have to worry about threats or risks happening while i use the Verkada security cameras.
Intuitive Access Control
What do you like best about the product?
I have recommended Verkada solutions for few clients over the last couple of years to improve their physcial security and access control capabilities. I have found that Verkada's ease of use and intergration into the existing security stack encourages organizations, at least in my personal experience, to actually follow their own policies and procedures.
What do you dislike about the product?
the pricing can sometimes be an obstacle especially in less mature markets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
difficulty of integrating physical access control solutions into existing stacks.
Quality and Durable Security Cameras
What do you like best about the product?
Verkada security cameras provide a high security standard for protecting the environment. It has easy installation process and quick and efficient cloud backup. It has an great remote management interface which makes it easy for me monitor my environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though I have not experience it yet, I've had worries about Verkada security cameras having backup issues and in emergency situations I am unable to retrieve the CCTV footage
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Verkada Security Cameras help me monitor the environment from a long range distance and I don't have to worry about tresspassers, illegal activities at night or the safety of my assets.
Reliable Security Cameras
What do you like best about the product?
Verkada provides a high level of security cameras that you can trust and rely on in ensuring that your safety is put first.
What do you dislike about the product?
Verkada security cameras is very simple and intuitive and have facial recognition which shows how robust and effective the cameras are.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Verkada is solving access control detection, residential surveillance and this is helpful in ensuring that security incidence is quickly mitigated.

What do you like best about the product?
Verkada is such an easy use solution and deploy system, with great build quality and stable software that makes it simple and easy to use for business of all size. The platform comes with API integrations and a quality customer support team should you need anything.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes has bugs, albeit a very helpful team to resolve any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gaining visbility of business environment, to help defend against bad actors.
Experienced, Fantastic Service, and Knowledgeable
What do you like best about the product?
Anthony Armino was the best salesperson I've seen in terms of communication, expedited quotes, professionalism, and making a potential customer feel important and part of the family, even before the sale completed. The standard number of features that come with the platform "Command" without paying extra is astounding and I feel that I am in complete control over my camera systems and soon advancing on extended services within access control and professional monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
Verkada is not GSA approved for purchases at this time, but we were able to make the sale happen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increased Security Awareness, Better Safety around the facility for afterhours egress into the parking lots, increased visibility

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better video and alarm system
Excellent experience with Verkada and their partner, Tailored Security.
What do you like best about the product?
The sales calls are dirven by the technical resources. The identify needs first and ask lots of questions before talking about products and solutions. In addition with being great with subject matter experts at our organization, they're also incredible at working with non-technical staff who need a much more educational approach. Their tech is amazing and has taken us leaps and bounds beyond our dated NVR system.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to identify any real problems with the company. I suppose that not being able to keep locally cached camera data on a local appliance is a downside. The product is on the high end of the spectrum, but it can only be considered overpriced if you don't understand the actual buffet of features and benefits you get with your subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an open to the public organization, security is a very high priority for us. Verkada not only let us significantly reduce the number of devices we need to cover the same area, it adds additional features like pedestrian traffic flow meters and headcounting for people entering and leaving the facility.
