What do you like best about the product?
Hearing about the new products. Also seeing they work.

No, downside yet. I am still learning at this point.

The new Alarms UI is in desperate need of migration from Classic Alarms to New Alarms. Very cumbersome.

Sometimes there is a lot of buffering at sites. Zooming in is too pixelated and hard to see specific details

Quick to find incidents. 1000 times better and faster than our old DVR camera system. Easy to add and remove users.

Have not run into dislikes thus far. Our department is fairly new to this system.

What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitive and easy to navigate. The Chat feature is top notch with quick response at all hours.

At times things break, like time lapse eature. The good thing is that they are quick to repair.

Allows my student employees to view critical areas of our facility while allowing me to monitor the facility after hours.
Camera system with a variety of options that works for us
What do you like best about the product?
The Verkada camera system has been a great fit for the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center. With both indoor and outdoor cameras, we get clear, reliable coverage of key areas. It’s easy to use, with cloud access that lets us check footage anytime, from anywhere. The motion alerts are helpful, and sharing clips is simple. Overall, it’s made our space feel safer and more secure and when we need assistance, the customer service is exceptional. Additionally, they reliably work even in our extreme temperatures, still offering video even at temperatures of -50F.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our downsides would be related to having to rely on internet in an area where internet can be spotty and the costs of the annual license. The cost is not unreasonable, the costs do give access to reliable and helpful service, but as a small non-profit, we look at every dollar spent, and this is worth or while, but we do wince when paying the bill.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a 38,00 sq ft commercial building that sees foot traffic of over 160,000 people/year. We monitor activity in and around the facility, and are able to keep an eye on what is happening. We are working hard to extend this camera system, as it serves our needs, and hope to be able to implement that plan. It allows us to be able to keep on things remotely, offer an exterior webcam (our Antler Arch) for people to enjoy from our web page.
