Rocketlane Honest Review From a Regular User's Perspective
What do you like best about the product?
In my five years of career in the IT industry, I have been using multiple platforms under the same domain as Rocketlane. Still, I would say this is the best app I have used to track my project activity and maintain tasks, projects and timesheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
So it was tough for me to find any flaws in Rocketlane platform, but after spending a couple of years with the app, I can say that the UI of the app can look better. Because sometimes its layout goes out of the frame.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So one of the big problems in the software development life cycle is maintaining and managing tasks efficiently because sometimes the project size is way more significant, and it becomes tough for a team manager to divide and assign tasks to team members rightly. So, Rocketlane is solving this problem by providing separate tabs for Tasks, Projects, and Assingees to manage these things efficiently. And this is most useful thing which benefiting all the users.
Good Application with a lot more corrections needed.
What do you like best about the product?
People who were working in online sheets would love to use this tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Improvements needed: -
1. System lags a lot, we need to open multiple screens to work.
2. Multiple sub-screens are getting opened to update a single piece of information.
3. Needs a separate chat window for the messages sent by the customer. It becomes challenging for us to search the chat between the task notifications.
4. In the project dashboard screen, after opening the project and completing the task, if we come back, the page doesn't remain the same, and again, we need to search for the project name; this takes more time.
5. The chat screen needs to improve, as the real-time update takes more time to load the chat.
6. Rocketlane mobile app is required for ease of use.
7. For updating the time for the task, it loads one time and suddenly disappears again. We need to select the timer again; it consumes a lot of time.

As mentioned, we have come out of manual work and started using the tool, easing our concerns.
Excellent Project Management Tool on Cloud !!!!
What do you like best about the product?
Complete Transparency On the Project Status with Realtime Tracking helps both the Client + Solution Provider. Access to clients is awesome. Data downloads are quick and easy . Excel Compatible.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system still needs to Upgrade and work on releasing the features in some of the User Specific Areas, such as user rights assignments, multiple project owners etc. + Automatic Shifting of Dates for Tasks and Phases if any Changes are made to the Parent Phase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many !!! I can now automate and manage multiple Projects for my clients centrally and will detail visibility. Project Creation is so easy, and template patching makes work quicker and easy; automated notification on the Overdue task is fantastic and works as a great reminder.
simple and minimal yet efficient
What do you like best about the product?
Updates via email, slack integration is beneficial for developers; clients can interact directly with the inbuilt chat tool, and so can the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to not like; it would have been nice if the timesheet could make out the input format of the time, like 130 can be 1h30 automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clients have a visual feed of what's going on on a project, and the coolest part is the easy to use UI it took me just a weeks time to get used to it
Easy to understand and use
What do you like best about the product?
The entire team works in sync with entire project history available to all onboard. Easy-to-use UI enables users to get accustomed to the system very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The timesheet filling can be made simpler by showing the choose a category option separately, so the user does not have click on edit and then add category each time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us with project management. We have mutiple departments that work on a single project and RL is helping us keep everyone up to date with the happenings.

What do you like best about the product?
This application is truly a trustworthy application we have come across. The application helps us to manage our project is the best effective way, as we have seen the benefits of this tool. The real-time update greatly helps the users like us.
What do you dislike about the product?
The notifications are not getting delivered timely. The search button requires to get optimised.

The management of the project is good all the way. Connecting with users became easy. The system's realtime update feature updates us stand clear with the required information.

Wonderful bunch of CSM-Account leads making our experience worthwhile. Platform is easy to use and customizable as required

Keeping track of day to day tasks asn well as a complete view of all pending tasks across different phases of project
An Organized tool for project tasks
What do you like best about the product?
It has filters which we can save and use it anytime to find specific tasks based on filters

sometimes RL takes time to load or freezes which results in closing the tab

It allows me to identify my tasks and of my team's tasks

What do you like best about the product?
Projects Dashboard, Maintaining the tasks, and Overdue notifications seem good. Inviting customers once Projects are created, Chat options are good, and Every task notification to complete the assignments are good. Project creation also easy to do with simple steps. It is good that we are getting support for the queries immediately and the Rocketlane team are ready to accept and do the corrections as per customer requirement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Multiple screens need to open and close to update one task, taking more time to update the tasks; sometimes, the application is slow overall. Once the task updated or the chat received is not showing immediately, we need to refresh the page and then only it is showing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing Overdue projects, chatting with customers, pending tasks notification, and tasks status can be created as per projects, and members assigned to the projects are easy.
Fantastic management tool!
What do you like best about the product?
It helps me keep track of my project at work, and it alos allows my clients to be part of the project by asigniing them tasks and allowing them to rate each phase.
What do you dislike about the product?
A couple times it glitches and we can't click on a button, it may take a couple cliks fot ir to react. I wish as well i could shrink the browser window and that rocketlane will accomodate the space, but it doesn't and i can only access all the options in full page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes my job easier by having control of my clients, projects and the progress on each one. Knowing what phases are completing and pening, as well as to keep track of customers tasks.
