Has potential if you can wait for new features and functionality

What do you like best about the product?
The Rocketlane team is extremely supportive, responsive and flexible. They are continuously seeking innovation, rolling out new features and functionality and gathering customer input to further refine their product. It does feel easy to navigate with minimal training.
What do you dislike about the product?
Rocketlane still feels like it is in the initial development stage for many features that are not thoroughly tested and rolled out prior to meeting standard business objectives. While new and expanded features are on the roadmap, it still appears to be lacking very basic features that other PSA tools have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our project management practices were manual and took considerable time to update weekly reports, track project status and track revenue. With Rocketlane, we were able to create streamlined project plans, assign owners to the tasks and the tool, provide real time notification of task status updates, and send out weekly status reports directly from the tool. In addition, we will be able to track revenue forecasted and recognized directly in the tool, and use the timesheet feature directly to track resource and team utilization. This will provide us with more time to focus on our customer engagements while minimizing administrative work.

What do you like best about the product?
Finally, a project management tool designed for implementation projects! It is easy to use and easy to configure to meet your use cases, even if you have multiple, unique use cases within your org. The more you use it, the more you can streamline projects because of the visibility it provides, the ease of use, and the automations and AI features. It was so successful we literally had other teams in the org asking to move their work into Rocketlane. As a leader, it was great to be able to give my team the autonomy to improve their projects by enhancing templates and ever improving the system, because it was that easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can’t do everything, obviously. It would be nice to have some excel like functions in the doc space, but that is probably coming. The fact is, by the time you find something you don’t like, there is usually a solution on the roadmap!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project visibility! Really that is the key to solving the other problems. That has helped us with resource management, budgeting, project management, everything.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use makes it quick for employees to work within the product to find and enter information regarding ongoing projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customizable reports are somewhat lacking but it is being worked on to provide better reporting capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The customer portal is being quickly adopted by our new customers and has let to greater collaboration throughout the project.

The best thing about RocketLane is how simple it is to hold our team and customers accountable for their pieces in our onboarding projects.

Updating our projects accurately can be a very manual process.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the process flows that can be created in RocketLane and the customer visibility into their ongoing projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the browser moves slowly, however that issue could be related to my bandswidth because I know others don’t experience it as often as I do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One onboarding experience for customers and the same onboarding process for multiple brands across one organization.

What do you like best about the product?
Rocketlane has allowed the Virtuous onboarding team to standardize implementations while still maintaining a high degree of personalization. We’ve also been able to remove a lot of the manual work (work smarter) and repurpose that energy into delighting our customers.

The results in our first year using Rocketlane has been a 50% decrease in time to value whole maintaining a perfect CSAT rating.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our organization places a premium on customer heath, and the absence of a customer health score forced us to go outside the platform to our CSP to monitor onboarding health.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time to Value and teal-time collaboration with our customers are the primary drivers. But using time tracking and resource management has helped us monitor billable utilization and identify opportunities to work more efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
RL is one of the best project management tool I have used. The collaboration feature, templates and spaces are really helpful to track the projects easily without hassle.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I would definitely recommend it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us to track the project tasks and sub tasks along with due dates. We also use this tool to collaborate with our customers and keep them updated.

Great Tool, only for Project Management

What do you like best about the product?
Rocketlane has some great features (like calendar syncing for time tracking) and is user-friendly for people using it as a Project Management tool. Support is very helpful and quick to respond.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their Resourcing Function is very buggy and not a great user experience. Not to mention, they have a soft vs hard hold process, but the only thing it does is a visual change and nothing else. As a resourcing team, we need the ability to proactively hold customers, but that function is not set up in Rocketlane today. Customization is still minimal. Time tracking can be easy, but there are some wonky UI pieces - for example, if I log time using one categorization bucket and then try to log another time to the same project, the categorization bucket is stuck, and a hard refresh is needed. Most issues with Rocketlane require a hard refresh is always needed to resolve. The number of times I refresh the system daily is up in the 100s.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to streamline our users from having to use multiple systems down to one. However adoption is not great as the tool is very buggy and people are less likely to use it.

What do you like best about the product?
The project planning features are excellent, especially for keeping everything organized and tracking deadlines across multiple teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of a more affordable, restricted-use license for senior leadership is an issue—we don’t need full access but still want to view key data.

The search functionality is very limited, making it hard to find specific information across tasks or comments quickly.

When sharing the "View as" view, I can't make updates in the tool as we discuss project updates during the course of the meeting. I end up either having to take notes for later or have a team member make updates in our internal view while I lead the meeting.

Really useful if you are client-facing and have action items for your clients to complete

Almost non-existent search capabilities making it very difficult to find information across project tasks and comments.
