Solid workhorse for agencies, but you pay a premium for it

  • November 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Bulk scheduling. Hands down. When you're running an agency and managing six, seven, sometimes ten client accounts at the same time, being able to upload a CSV with hundreds of posts and just...map them out across weeks? That's the kind of thing that keeps you from losing your mind. I've had weeks where we're launching multiple campaigns, and I can sit down on a Sunday afternoon, load everything in, and know that Monday through Friday is covered. It's not flashy, but it works.
The approval workflow is probably the second thing I'd put up there
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is brutal. I'm not going to sugarcoat it. When they killed the free plan and bumped everything up by over 40%, it stung. My agency pays $99 a month just for the entry tier, and that's after they stripped away features that used to be included. When you're bootstrapping or running lean, that kind of jump makes you question whether you're getting real value or just paying for a name.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps me from drowning in accounts. I've got ten clients, each with three or four platforms. Without Hootsuite, I'd be logging in and out of forty different accounts daily. Now I schedule everything from one place, my team can collaborate without endless Slack threads, and nothing goes live without my approval.

Not perfect, but absolutely essential for agency life

  • November 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Working at the agency, I manage social media for a mix of clients: fashion brands, local businesses, tech startups. Each has its own voice and schedule. Some days I feel like an air-traffic controller trying to land twenty different planes. Hootsuite makes that chaos less... chaotic.
The calendar view feels like a giant whiteboard that actually listens to me. I can drag posts around, fill empty days, and see what each client has coming up without losing my mind. When I’m building campaigns, it’s nice to drop designs straight from Canva or Dropbox. No more downloading and re-uploading files ten times a day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, one of the social accounts disconnects, usually Instagram, which means a scheduled post might miss its slot. Those moments are annoying, mostly because I’ve already moved on to other tasks by the time I notice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At our agency, we do a lot of things: branding, design, social, video. It’s easy for projects to overlap. Hootsuite helps keep that web of work visible. I can glance at the calendar and know what’s live, what’s waiting, and where there’s a gap that needs filling. It keeps the whole team on the same page without constant back-and-forth.
More than anything, it’s made space for creative thinking again. When scheduling and tracking aren’t eating up my brain, I can focus on strategy, tone, and the kind of storytelling that actually connects with people.

It keeps me centered when everything’s moving too fast

  • November 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Running social for the New York Liberty is a rush. One minute I’m filming a locker room celebration, the next I’m cutting clips, then checking on a sponsor post or replying to fans. It’s a lot of moving parts, and Hootsuite gives me this one quiet place where it all lives. The calendar view is where I spend most of my time. It’s like my whiteboard, only smarter. I can drag a post around when something changes, or glance at a week and instantly know what’s missing. I also like playing with the AI caption tool when my brain’s fried after back-to-back games. Sometimes it just helps me find a fresh way to say something that still sounds like us. And the listening feature has been a game changer. Being able to spot what fans are saying about a player or a moment, in real time, helps me jump in before it fades.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app gets clunky when I’m on the move. If I’m courtside and trying to fix a caption or double-check a scheduled post, it lags just enough to make me anxious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s woven into pretty much everything I do. Every campaign, every game week, every behind-the-scenes moment starts in Hootsuite. When we launched the Liberty’s Storyteller app, I used it to plan out the rollout, check timing across platforms, and coordinate with the team. During the playoffs, it kept us sane when content was flying in from every direction. It helps me keep our tone consistent, too, even when the pace is chaotic. But more than that, it gives me space to think creatively. I don’t have to juggle six tabs or remember which post went where. I can focus on shaping stories that actually mean something, stories that celebrate these women and the energy they bring to the game. And honestly, that’s what I care about most.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to post to all of my networks at one time. The calendar view is great, too. I also like the analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like some of the reporting functions. It is hard to figure out how to monitor individual posts or put together metrics for a campaign.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves me a lot of time when posting. It also helps me keep all of my social media accounts and monitoring in one place.

The Ultimate Social Media Management Tool for Data-Driven Marketers

  • November 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate tools that facilitate communication between performance analytics, social engagement, and content strategy. For good reason, Hootsuite has been a mainstay in the social media management industry for a long time. By increasing brand visibility, traffic, and engagement signals, it provides a centralized platform for planning, tracking, and evaluating social performance—all of which tangentially aid SEO initiatives.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can feel cluttered initially, especially for first-time users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Regular posting across channels boosts engagement and brand awareness, indirectly improving SEO signals.

All-in-One Social Management Made Easy

  • November 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Hootsuite is that everything is in one place. I can do social listening, analytics, multi platform planning, etc. all in one place. The workflow management works really smooth compared to other social management tools we have tried, especially because everything is in one place. I also love the interface, specifically for scheduling posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main drawback, though not a major problem, is that Hootsuite sometimes experiences slight delays and its analytics can differ somewhat from those provided by native social platforms. As a newsroom using Hootsuite to help with our socials, those small differences, especially with timeliness, can make an impact, but the convenience of having everything in one place makes up for that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem it’s solving for our team is creating a really efficient way for everyone to communicate and be on the same page. The workflow features make that possible, as do the advanced scheduling features. Our team has grown recently, and we are trying new social platforms, so having a centralized place to plan, assign tasks, and analyze performance is helpful.

One less thing to worry about during game week

  • November 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is that it keeps everything from spinning out of control. Social media for a team like the Jets moves fast, with game-day highlights, player updates, sponsor content, and community posts all flying around at once. Having one place to see every post, every channel, and every message makes my job a lot easier. I like how I can move things around on the calendar until it feels right, like fitting puzzle pieces together. The analytics are really useful too.
We can see what fans are reacting to, what time of day works best, and which types of posts get the most love. The new AI assistant is decent. I don’t rely on it for writing our posts since our brand voice is pretty specific, but it helps me come up with ideas when I’m running out of steam.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ad management tools could be easier to use too. I wish they gave clearer insights instead of making you dig through the data. And while the AI tools are nice, they don’t always capture our tone, so I still have to tweak things. It’s fine though, better than starting from nothing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps our social team on the same page. We’ve got several people posting, reviewing, and replying at once, and Hootsuite helps us stay coordinated without stepping on each other’s work. It gives us a clear view of everything happening, which matters when things move fast during the season.
We can plan out our content weeks ahead, but still react quickly when something big happens, like a touchdown or a breaking story.
The analytics help us make smarter choices about what to post next. I honestly can’t imagine managing our channels without it. It’s not perfect, but it’s reliable, and that counts for a lot when the schedule gets crazy.

Hootsuite Feels Like Extra Team Members for Effortless Scheduling

  • November 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I handle all graphic design and communications for a small team of seven, and the greatest benefit I've found in using Hootsuite is its scheduling and content creation features. It truly feels as though I have two additional team members supporting my department!
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, the only downside has been some occasional issues connecting to my accounts, but these have not been significant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to manage multiple social channels and accounts, schedule content ahead of time on a consistent basis, and monitor engagement or perform social listening from one platform are all essential features. Furthermore, having access to analytics and reporting, along with tools for team collaboration, workflow management, and permissions, significantly improves the overall experience.
