Messy
What do you like best about the product?
To add many streams of different social media platforms

very messy and takes alot of time to get ready,

Streamlined product that easy to use for someone with a busy schedule
A must-have tool for Social Media management
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is super easy to use and very intuitive. I think they have a pretty good freemium version for startups and SMEs. I have used it for personal projects too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their posting on Instagram feature does not work really well. I've programmed some photos and never showed up. For Instagram I always end up posting manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Content distribution. It's very easy to manage the content calendar with Hootsuite so that we can plan what content will be distributed through which platform. Scheduled content is by far the best solution Hootsuite is offering right now in the company I work for.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hootsuite is a very good start thanks to their free version. It doesn't lack for any core functionality: comprehensive built-in listening, publishing features and vast array of integrations.

Gives me the ease of scheduling all my social media post ahead of time and making my life stress free !

The limit of platforms on the free version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes my post do not go through after scheduling, I have to go back in and see what the issue is.
Confusing tool
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the content suggestions for twitter, and that's about it.
What do you dislike about the product?
VERY confusing interface, unintuitive, very old fashioned website with a lot of banners and buttons. I haven't used it in a while just because I found better options (buffer!). Prices are high and there is no justification for them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Couldn't find the benefits so stopped using Hootsuite all together. I tried their trial of the premium plan and couldn't understand why I need it when there are such great free/cheaper tools out there. Hootsuite is like those people that still use Windows XP and don't want to upgrade because "it's working so why upgrading?".
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are other tools out there that will do what Hootsuite does better and cheaper. Start with Buffer to schedule posts and then continue from there.
Managing Small Social Media Teams Economically
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Social listening via lists, keyords, #'s geocode etc
What do you dislike about the product?
Communicating between teams is a little clunky and non-intuative

Listening to what current and prospective students are saying about the university. The platform makes it easy to do so in several ways
Perfect for a Social Media Manager!
What do you like best about the product?
Love the setup of "streams." I can see all of my social media accounts listed in a row and customize each view. Plus the scheduling option and analytics are great as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish Hootsuite had the ability to automatically post to Instagram for me.

There aren't currently a lot of good options for instagram.

It has been a real time saver for our team.
Good Social Media Management Dashboard for Larger Organizations
What do you like best about the product?
While the free version is very limited, the paid versions have some great features for role-based management. The Enterprise version is ideal for teams managing many pages / profiles and analytics features are robust. Price is a little high making it a better option for teams with larger budgets. Monitoring features are better than alternatives like Buffer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Features for free version are limited and price is high for small organizations where a more affordable option like Buffer will suffice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite makes it possible to manage a large remote team with varying levels of access as well as dozens of social media profiles from one dashboard.
A great way to free up time during the week
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can post to all the pages I'm responsible for and see everything in one neat platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's been glitchy recently and I have to delete the scheduled post and redo it if I need to change the picture.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company hadn't tracked analytics before, so Hootsuite gives us a great view of how we are performing.
A Hootsuite Of A Plan
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Hootsuite is that it allows you to have all of your social media feeds on one page. This is awesome if you have several feeds and you need to monitor them in real time. The other thing that is wonderful is that you can enter a keyword from an article or ad that you are doing and see who's talking about the same topic on social media.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is its' free version doesn't allow you to schedule multiple posts, in advance throughout a day or week. This feature is available to those who pay. When you start off in a new business everything you do is from a very tight budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to build a fan base and posts to as many social media locations as possible, and I want to stay relevant. This software allows you to do that to a degree. If you can afford it may be best to get the paid version, it offers more options.

This is an excellent tool, it helps you to monitor your posts on social media. This is great for bloggers and forum writers and monitors. You can follow what's going on even if you are a beginner or experienced user.
