Great for all of our social media needs of our organization

Hootsuite is perfect for handling our social media needs. The ability to manage multiple platforms is essential to helping us manage our time effectively. Additionally, features with the Team program allow us to set different access levels for other users, allowing others to contribute but only with oversight. It helps us maintain brand consistency across accounts and platforms.

My Social Media Operations Center since 2016
What do you like best about the product?
I've been involved in social media for quite a few years now, specifically since 2016, and if there's one tool that has become a fundamental pillar of my daily routine, it's Hootsuite. I've tried a few alternatives out of curiosity or because of the promises of new features, but in the end, I always come back home.
The first thing I want to highlight, and for me it's crucial, is how incredibly reliable it is. In all these years, the failures have been few and far between. In a world where social media doesn't wait, knowing that your scheduled posts will go out without a hitch gives you a peace of mind that is priceless.
Moreover, the number of social networks it supports is impressive. It doesn't matter if you're on the most popular ones or on a more niche platform, it's likely that Hootsuite will allow you to manage it from its dashboard. This avoids having a thousand tabs open and greatly simplifies the work.
For me, the draft saving feature is like having a digital notepad for my ideas. And being able to schedule content well in advance is a lifesaver when you have work peaks or simply want to disconnect for a few days knowing that your content will still reach your audience.
But Hootsuite has gone far beyond simple scheduling. Being able to upload stories, make basic edits to images and videos without leaving the platform, and even having AI help to tweak texts or inspire me with new ideas has been a huge advancement.
And what to say about the statistics. Having a clear view of what works and what doesn't, without having to jump to each social network separately, is essential for optimizing your strategy. The ability to promote posts directly from the platform also streamlines campaigns a lot.
I know there are many tools on the market, some with more modern interfaces or with a specific feature that catches the eye. But honestly, the integration of all these functionalities in one place is what makes Hootsuite unbeatable for me. It allows me to have a global view and execute my strategy efficiently.
So, if you're looking for a solid tool that rarely lets you down and offers you a complete control center for your social networks, based on my personal experience of almost a decade, Hootsuite is a very worthwhile option. It's not perfect, like everything, but for me, it remains the best comprehensive solution I've found.

What do you dislike about the product?
Despite all the good things, I cannot overlook that Hootsuite also has its weak points. One of the things I have always missed is more comprehensive statistics for personal profiles, such as on LinkedIn. I understand that their main focus is on business pages, but for freelancers like me, who also work on our personal brand, this limitation is a nuisance. Additionally, although the compatibility with social networks is broad, for those of us who manage a really large volume of accounts (I have managed more than 50), the number of profiles offered even by the most advanced plans is excessively limited, which forces you to look for parallel solutions or make a considerable outlay that, for a freelancer, becomes unaffordable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Despite those occasional inconveniences, the reality is that Hootsuite solves a ton of problems for me in my day-to-day life as a freelancer managing social media. Primarily, it offers me crucial centralization. Instead of having to log into multiple platforms, deal with different interfaces, and waste valuable time jumping from one to another, Hootsuite gives me a unified view of all my accounts. This translates into a much more efficient management of time, allowing me to schedule content, respond to interactions, and analyze results from a single dashboard. The reliability I mentioned earlier is also a great benefit, as it gives me the peace of mind that the scheduled content will be published without errors, freeing me from the constant worry of having to oversee each launch. In short, Hootsuite greatly simplifies my workflow, saves me time, and provides me with an organized structure to handle the complexity of multiple social profiles, which is essential for a freelancer with limited resources.
Save hours scheduling across platforms plus excellent reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I use Hootsuite daily and the reporting function has really improved recently. Being able to easily compare time periods and then present that data visually in a variety of ways for marketers/non-marketers by simple clicking saves me hours and keeps my department head informed and happy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding more than one image at a time is very limited in terms of options and presents side-by-side in platform is I have to do this manually in each platform. It would be great to have a gallery, slideshow or similar feature.
Also we now use Bluesky and I would really like to see this added.
Also we now use Bluesky and I would really like to see this added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We operate 15+ accounts across 7 platforms, I simply wouldn't have time to do anything else if I had to post manually. We also have multiple people posting for different business areas and the calendar view allows us to see each others' posts so we don't clash or overlap. The simple reporting and clean visuals provided are also a huge time-saver for reporting internally and to other teams.
TIM Africa's hootsuite review
What do you like best about the product?
easy to view and add postings to the calendar as well as switch accounts and duplicating the posts to other accounts
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricey, less features, data dashboard is messy and cant be filtered by channels, some tagging feautures on different channels dont work
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
scheduling, ai integration is decent too
Great. Fit for purpose for now.
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite offers a very user-friendly interface and reliable functionality for managing and scheduling content across multiple social media platforms. It saves time by allowing me to plan and monitor posts in one place, and I find its core features generally efficient and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I like using Hootsuite, there are some frustrating limitations. Tagging users—especially on LinkedIn—can be inconsistent or not work at all, which affects engagement. It's also sometimes unclear whether I'm tagging the correct organisation, particularly when profile logos aren’t visible. Additionally, Hootsuite doesn't support Bluesky, so I’ve had to rely on a separate tool for that. The platform can also be a bit glitchy at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps me streamline social media management by allowing me to schedule and publish posts across multiple platforms from one place. This saves a significant amount of time and ensures consistent content delivery. It also assists with monitoring engagement and staying organised with campaigns, which is especially useful when managing multiple accounts or working as part of a team.
Streamlined Social Media Management with Easy Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Hootsuite for two years to manage social media, and it perfectly suits my needs. The setup process was straightforward, particularly when it came to linking accounts, which saved me from any initial complications. Hootsuite has significantly streamlined my work by saving time, making tasks incredibly quick. The scheduling feature is one of my favorite aspects, as it allows efficient management of social media posts. Additionally, the ability to integrate with Instagram enhances the platform's functionality for my purposes. These features make Hootsuite a compelling tool for my work, and I greatly appreciate how well it aligns with my requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Hootsuite does not allow the use of real Instagram music, which limits the creative options for Instagram posts directly through the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Hootsuite saves me time by making everything quick, with easy account linking and useful scheduling features.
HOOTSUITE can be for everyone
What do you like best about the product?
Its such an easy platform to use they have many tools that you can utilize, some i had never heard before. customer support is best to none, i haven't had one problem yet however when trying to find my account they where great at helping.
What do you dislike about the product?
i can only say one bad thing and that is that after you have scheduled a post you cant go back in a bulk edit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is solving the ease of posting on social media, instead of having to go onto every platform, we can almost only create one post on one website but have it post to all of our socials.
Great tool for scheduling for business
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is reliable, easy to navigate around and easy to connect to platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to use paid for extras from premium on X
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tagging in facebook and LinkedIn
User-friendly, intelligent software which saves you time daily
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is incredibly easy-to-use and is a tool which I use several times, daily, within my job role. It integrates with several different social media platforms, including Instagram, X and Facebook. Being able to manage so many different platforms via one piece of software has saved my life! It is super easy to access the customer service if I were ever to have any queries - however thus far everything has been perfect. Hootsuite was implemented into my work from day one.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not many bad things about Hootsuite. However, sometimes the analytics don't function perfectly or I need to sync the social media accounts more than one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling posts manually was previously very time-consuming, taking up to an hour of my working day. Hootsuite allows me to cut this time in half. I can schedule multiple different posts on different platforms with ease. Everything I need, including analytics, is easy to find on the Hootsuite website.
