It's a good tool to save time posting but...
What do you like best about the product?
It's a good tool to save time posting but doesn't allow to use the same tools that each platforms offer when posting separetely example if you want to add audio to a post on instagram you can't do it from the hootsuite tool. You can't add a collaborator either.
What do you dislike about the product?
too expensive and not so helpful with a lot of issues linking some platforms
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
posting in multiple accounts at the same time
Hootsuite User Review
What do you like best about the product?
What’s most helpful about Hootsuite is the ability to schedule posts across multiple platforms in advance, which saves time and helps maintain a consistent content strategy. The platform also makes it easy to @mention other accounts directly in posts, streamlining engagement and increasing visibility. While the analytics aren't the main driver, they’re a valuable perk for tracking performance and making informed decisions—all in one centralized, easy-to-use tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Hootsuite is the price point—it can be hard to justify the cost, especially when some features are available on more affordable or even free platforms. While it’s a powerful tool, the pricing structure doesn’t always align with the needs or budgets of smaller teams or businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite solves the problem of consistent content delivery by allowing me to schedule posts in advance across multiple platforms. This was especially valuable during my five-month maternity leave—I was able to plan and schedule all content ahead of time, ensuring our social media presence stayed active and on-brand without requiring daily management. It gives peace of mind and operational continuity, even when you’re away.
Easy to learn, easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Having a clear visual of all scheduled content is easily the best part of the platform. I never have to wonder, “Did I remember to schedule that?” Hootsuite makes it effortless to plan and manage months of content across our platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI features could be improved. When I need help creating a post, I often find that ChatGPT provides better results and more useful suggestions.

Planning and scheduling future content.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think for the price that Amplify costs, it's lacking in features and functionality that one of it's direct competitors has for a fraction of the cost. Glad that the repost feature is added, but would also love a React activity and the ability to send out daily digests where all of the activities that someone missed could come on one email per day instead of per week or as the activities are made live. Not sure why there isn't that middle ground.
I also think it would be good for employees to complete activities from the email without having extra clicks added (like an additional window). That pop-up window makes sense for when they want to customize their posts, but if they want to share as is, it would be great if it could be from the email.
Overall, I still appreciate Hootsuite for what it does. i just think they should add those features that a competitor has if they are going to charge more for it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes managing different social media accounts a breeze. The reporting saves a great deal of time and provides consistent YOY, MOM, QOQ analysis. Really appreciate support staff with addressing issues.
Easy to use social media management tool
What do you like best about the product?
The planning function is easy and simple to use. I like that when scheduling in advance it recommends the best times for posting. Inbox 2.0 is also good for keeping on top of notifications across multiple social platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was functionality to schedule a first comment on a Facebook or LinkedIn post - for example to include a link in the comment rather than in the main body of the post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To allow me to schedule multiple posts to different platforms in one go.
Bulk and Future Scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
Unlike other schedulers, Hootsuite allows you to schedule posts months in advance, allowing the user to have ease of mind if they get busy one week and forget to post on social media. Our organization uses Hootsuite weekly, whether it be for scheduling social media posts (you can schedule on just about and social media site with a click of a button), or checking analytics. We especially like that we can see how we stack up against our "competitors" on social media, allowing us to alter our approach to better our online presence. When we first started using Hootsuite, it was very easy. We created an account, linked our social media accounts, and were on our way! With the helpful tips along the page, we were able to figure out the process. If the tips fell short, customer service is very quick to respond, with helpful and kind answers.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside, and I may be doing this wrong, is that you can not bulk schedule on various social medias using the recommended times from Hootsuite. You can only use one recommended scheduling time for one account, and it will schedule at this time for any account I have the post scheduling to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were running into issues on Meta where you could not schedule out past 4 weeks. Our organization has to let people know when we are closed on holidays, when we have events, etc. so it was very important to us that we could schedule out past 4 weeks in advance.
The Social Media Control Tower You Didn’t Know You Needed
What do you like best about the product?
Running multiple social channels without Hootsuite is like trying to herd cats during a fireworks display—chaotic, noisy, and mildly tragic. Hootsuite brings calm to the storm. It’s slick, it’s powerful, and it saves me hours every week.
What do you dislike about the product?
pricing can feel a bit steep if you're a small team, and the mobile app’s a bit “meh” compared to the desktop experience. But as a whole? Worth every penny if social media is more than just a side hustle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multi channel and numerous businesses in one place - makes it easier to manage
Amazing tool for social media analytics and social listening
What do you like best about the product?
I like the deep analytics that it provides for different social channels all at one place. It also give me recommendations which helps in my strategy. Love the automation feature that is inbuilt, which makes it easier to automate comments. Can also run ads on the same platform and track all the metrics. Also has inbuilt copywriter (AI) that helps in curating captions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is too high, can also provide lower pricing options for small business. The ai copywriter is not that advanced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps in connecting all the platforms at one place. Reduces my time in publishing content in different platforms at the same time. Also provides analytics which gives me clarity on how to do it better.
One app for most
What do you like best about the product?
It's user-friendly and covers most common platforms. I love that they're constantly making improvements to meet our needs. Latest allowing us to schedule collabs and tagging users and products during scheduling.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could be expensive but has some limitations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working much more efficiently than using Meta as we have multiple platforms
Hootsuite has become the social-media command center we didn’t know we were missing
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite’s unified calendar and drag-and-drop scheduler turn our sprawling lineup of community posts into a single, crystal-clear roadmap. The built-in approval workflow lets Executive Directors bless content with one click—no more endless email chains—while the analytics dashboard translates engagement into plain-English insights our leadership team can act on. Add in responsive support and snack-size trainings, and the platform feels less like software and more like a strategic partner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Seats and premium add-ons (Advanced Analytics, social listening) can add up quickly, so budgeting for large, multi-location teams requires careful planning. The mobile app is handy for quick checks but lacks some of the deeper calendar and reporting views available on desktop, and initial setup—including tagging streams and permission levels—takes a bit of upfront elbow grease. Small trade-offs, but worth noting for teams looking to scale fast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite solves the chaos of managing dozens of community Facebook and Instagram accounts by unifying all scheduling, approvals, and reporting in one dashboard. Instead of juggling spreadsheets, emails, and log-ins, I can plan a month of posts, route them to Executive Directors for one-click sign-off, and instantly see which stories drive engagement—all in the same place. The payoff: fewer bottlenecks, faster content turnaround, and clear, data-backed insights that let me prove social media’s impact to leadership while reclaiming hours of my week.
