Easy to use platform
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a great way to manage several platforms at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you can only manage several accounts at once. (without paying)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows me to not miss content shared from other users.

I have used Hootsuite for a while now. It's great for personal and professional use!
What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics don't drive deep enough and the pricing structure makes no sense. They are no incentives for free customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Auto-scheduling posts to separate social media networks.The benefits are that you can schedule posts depending on the time of day.

Just download it. The software really helps you keep track of your social media output.

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to post to nearly all of my social media accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the lack of certain social media platforms. And scheduling posts for Instagram is a bigger hassle than it's worth. And the main dashboard can get messy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's good for scheduling most of our social media posts. This saves me and my team from having to post at all hours seven days a week. Also, it's pretty good for monitoring all your social media accounts in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try the free version first. Get a feel for the dashboard as it gets really messy really fast. Then, if you feel you can still read the cluttered dashboard, pay for the pro version to get the analytics, more accounts, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
It great for a central communications team that monitors a whole university.
What do you dislike about the product?
We just started using it and it has been great for us so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to monitor all social media areas at the university and make sure messaging aligns with our University messaging.
Hootsuite is a easy program to use.

I like that I can schedule the same posts across my various social media accounts and manage them all in one place.

I dislike that you have to switch screens between twitter/facebook/etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I take advantage of the scheduling tool, especially for Twitter. This allows me to not have to manually post on weekends or throughout the day.

Learn how to use it across all of your social media platforms. It will make things easier for you in the long run.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has continued to made great improvements since I first began using it. My favorite element is how it will automatically schedule my tweets at the best traffic times on any given social media.

What do you dislike about the product?
Deleting a post/tweet is not as easy as clicking one button. (At least, not for the free version.) I first have to open the post. It would also be nice if you could drag post from different days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite schedules my company's social media. This allows more productivity instead of constantly setting timers to post . . . or not posting at all.

Easier access to gifs.

Hootsuite is the Workingman's Social Media Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Stable, reliable, focused on its core mission - the mechanics of posting and scheduling to social media channels. It lets you go fast so that you can spend time on creating great content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Two things -- The ability to organize channels is clunky. It's a sea of tabs in one row. And the way channels are selected for posting clumps all the channels together.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The robust scheduling lets us prepare social media campaigns days or even weeks in advance. It allows us to be more productive with our time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
All basic functioning is solid and stable. Pricing seems fair. When applying social media to larger enterprises I consider others as well to seek the best fit/integration. But for SMEs Hootsuite is my direct go-to option.

Ability to track #'s, @'s, etc, which allows me to easily curate content for my posts.

Sign in process through Twitter is clunky.

Consistent presence on social media. Allows me to easily keep our brand in the forefront of the minds of our customers.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can integrate multiple social networks and post to all of them at the same time. Also you can monitor and do follow ups all at once without having to leave the interface. Many problems, one solution. You can manage as many social websites as you desire without the pain.

What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps I would make the interface more intuitive and more user friendly. Also posting into different places might not seem that intuitive at first. Also, I would love to see more individual reports from the different social networks our company uses. A more analytical perspective, which could help us make more accurate decisions in our company, based on what our customers are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One person can control all my companies social networks from one single place. Not only that, you can also manage, view reports which will help to run a successful social media campaign.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You should really go for this tool, it simplifies your marketing and social media management. In my company, we do it ourselves. With this tool we dont have to hire expensive social management companies. Also, the most popular social platforms can be integrated into hootsuite, so if we want to open new social media profiles on different networks we can do so and still make it easy for us to manage our companies marketing through social media.
