Great social media planning tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the calendar view a lot. It is essential in helping me schedule and strategize my posts. It has a very user-friendly backend. Plus the analytics are very easy to navigate and helpful. I use Hootsuite every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I wish Hootsuite offered is video and image converting in the software. I receive a lot of HEIC and MOV file types, so I have to go to a third party to convert them into types Hootsuite will take. Plus, I can't crop or shorten videos in Hootsuite, so I have to do that in a third-party app, too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me keep all my posts organized. I have 7 different sites that send in posts, and having the calendar feature helps me make sure I'm not dedicating more to one than the other. Plus, the analytics help me track which posts perform the best.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of scheduling posts on all social media platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The high price. We were forced to renew with a very unreasonable price hike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite has made posting across several social media platforms easier and more efficient. It's a also good at looking at analytics.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s truly been a game changer for us at Housing at Old Dominion University! Hootsuite has become the organizer of our social media accounts, our partner in exploring new AI features, our daily reminder for important dates, and our monthly progress checker. And that's just the beginning—there are still so many helpful features we're discovering along the way. We’re grateful to have such a powerful platform supporting our team!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is helping us solve several challenges in managing our social media presence. It keeps all our accounts organized in one place, which saves us time and ensures consistency across platforms. The scheduling tools help us plan ahead, while the reminders and performance analytics keep us on track with deadlines and goals. With the integration of new AI features, we’re also getting better at creating content more efficiently. Overall, it’s made our workflow smoother and our team more confident in our social media strategy.
Social Media Marketer's Best Friend
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is extremely helpful for organizing all aspects of social media marketing. From planning, to analytics, to caption generation, I personally have not found anything that this application cannot help me tackle. My favorite thing about Hootsuite is the ability to post on multiple platforms at once. I select the platforms I want to post on, put in the media and a caption then schedule the post in one click.
What do you dislike about the product?
Linking Instagram accounts can be a headache. The company I work for needed our secondary Instagram account in Hootsuite.
This account is targeted to children so we only had a Instagram for this focus and not a connected Facebook. Hootsuite makes you connect Instagram through Facebook which made this process difficult. We had to make a Facebook (which we don't use) and link it to our Instagram and then connect the Facebook through Business Suite for it to work in this application.

Simple-to-Use & Comprehensive
What do you like best about the product?
The Hootsuite platform is far easier to use than some other schedulers I've tried, which is always appreciated. Additionally, the analytics tracking tools are incredibly comprehensive. Customizable reports make it easy to focus on what is important to OUR company, as opposed to standardized reports that can provide loads of information we may find irrelevant. Lastly, I'm a big fan of the industry comparison feature that shows us where our metrics stand in relation to our competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there's no option to add an additional team member without paying for multiple additional platforms. In other words, if I wanted to add another person onto my account, it would nearly TRIPLE my annual cost, even though there are no additional posting platforms being added. It's limited me in the respect that I have to do all the scheduling myself, though it would be far easier to defer this task to an assistant, but I have to be able to access for metric tracking.

We have multiple brands and various social media platforms for each. Hootsuite allows me to handle all of them in one place.

Simplifies scheduling and posting across multiple platforms. Instead of logging into each account separately, I can plan everything in one place.

I also appreciate being able to view all my social inboxes in one place—it saves a ton of time and makes it easier to stay on top of messages and comments.

I wish it were easier to search for old posts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to add the first comment on Instagram automatically. It's a major game changer, especially since you can't include clickable links directly in the post.

Easy Company Promotion
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to share company posts, articles, news, etc. on social media (LinkedIn).
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I get an error message saying a repost didn't actual repost. It only seems to happen with reposts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is providing a quick easy way to share and promote my company on LinkedIn. This helps with customer awareness and engagement.
Easy to use and fun

Great way to lock in with your employer assisting in advertising for the company

Slight confusion in the beginning by having to Click on amplify instead of hootsuite.
