Convenient Centralization for Social Media Posts
What do you like best about the product?
I like the mobile application and the convenience it affords me for creating and scheduling content for delivery across across multiple platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the mobile platform is free to use, the cloud-based desktop platform is not, which is sometimes inconvenient. It's also not possible to reschedule auto-scheduled posts if I wish to alter the time it selects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using Hootsuite to schedule content, I can more easily provide consistent posts to readers, an integral aspect to generating genuine, engaged followers.

Depending on the scale of your social media needs, Hootsutie provides a competitive suite of tools. For larger accounts or businesses running multiple content streams, a more extensive service may be more appropriate.
Gets the job done with only minor glitches
What do you like best about the product?
It makes scheduling tweets easy. I can write tweets days or weeks in advance and not have to worry about them ever again.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite won't let me tweet the same thing twice; there must be some sort of difference between similar tweets in order for it to submit. Sometimes it takes a bit to load (could be my internet connection) and the tweet is scheduled to send twice at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves me time and makes managing tweets more efficient. Benefits include lots of time saved!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand that it can be slow and that there are some glitches to be aware of, but regardless, I'd still recommend it.
Good in a pinch, but you'll want for more.
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a good intro tool for social media managers. Excellent social listening functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool isn't as intuitive as it could (or should) be. Lots of bugs and glitches create headaches for me and my team. Additionally, cross-posting while tagging entities is a pain. Doing so requires going back into posts to modify tags, essentially meaning you end up doing the same work twice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem is bugs and having to redo work; the benefit is being able to monitor multiple accounts from one centralized place.

Check out Tweetdeck and other free platforms similar to Hoostuite before committing to purchasing.
Good intentions for a social media coordination platform, but not quite streamlined enough
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite was good for scheduling FB, but not as good as FB's own publishing platform, so rarely used it for FB. The best aspect was being able to schedule posts for Twitter.
What do you dislike about the product?
The option of using Hootsuite for Instagram is laughable, since you it simply ~reminds~ you that you need to post to Instagram.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of adding various streams to view. I like that I can add streams for "Likes," "Interactions," "Shares," "Mentions," etc. to easily monitor the different aspects of the social media all in one spot.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to modify several posts at once. You have to do Twitter posts separately because of the character limit and the platform doesn't allow you to modify just a single account post while scheduling a whole group. It just creates extra usage time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building out a months worth of social media posts at once eases the time it takes to create a large presence across various platforms. There is no worrying about whether or not a day was missed and my audience didn't hear from me.

Download the app on your phone as well for easier monitoring.
Perfect free tool to manage social platforms
What do you like best about the product?
The way I can organize my dashboard. The fact that it can even pre schedule content for Instagram. Of course, I love that I can have content ready for a whole month and not have to worry about it. it also lets me monitor anything related to my accounts. Recently, with Instagram, I learned that I can also follow specific hashtags to grow my audience. Usually, this feature cannot be used for free in other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some additional organizational features that can only be used with a fee payment. Sometimes there's miscommunication with the server and I loose some of the content I had scheduled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The fact that I don;t have to schedule content manually or daily. It saves time and is a very simple tool to master. I have grown my audience. In essence, for the most part, I don't even have to go into the social media network. Everything can be found on the Hootsuite dashboard.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommended it 100%. It truly is the easiest way of maintaining your social media platforms without having to spend a ton of time and effort. Even influencers can use it. Sometimes inspiration is not there and it's good to have content already scheduled for those times. It can be like a plan B for when you're too busy to sit down and get creative.

We use Hootsuite to schedule posts for my organization's social media channels (including Twitter and LinkedIn).
What do you dislike about the product?
My organization uses this service solely for content scheduling purposes, and I've never had any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool allows us to schedule out content so we have a consistent social media presence and messaging. It also acts as a pseudo editorial calendar, since we can ensure we've got messaging that covers all my orgs key topics at the right time.
Makes my life so much easier and less complicated!
What do you like best about the product?
Straight forward product, everything is linked to the site so you don't have to log in several times. Editing posts and scheduling them is very easy as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the changes they made to Analytics. It's only Twitter now, and I still want my results all in one place. I would like it if you could view your instagram feed on the site as well. If you want to see someone's page you have to individually click their name, then click their page to see photos.

Knowledge or product availability in our office & what services we provide. Helps me to recognize where our weak points are and if we are reaching the right audience (which is a challenge)
