Hootsuite a hoot to use

What do you like best about the product?
I like it because it simplifies social media and in a visual media world, that is so important.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't tried to set a black background lately but I do prefer dark backgrounds and I would rather have that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to separate multiple twitter accounts is invaluable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would take them up on it. While Tweetdeck is a cheap option that does a lot of what Hootsuite does, I think the Hootsuite support and analytics are worth the cost if you have the ability to pay for it with your company.

What do you like best about the product?
It congregates all social media platforms on one channel and you can manage and monitor multiple accounts which is nice
What do you dislike about the product?
Its not as clean or intuitive all the time...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great to quickly post or schedule content and for several people to manages it

It's not for everyone.

I like that I can schedule posts ahead of time

That I'm unable to post Instagram posts ahead of time

Helps me plan and schedule out social media so that I can be more organized and see what type of posts work best.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great product to help automate your social media posts and cut back on time spent posting and reviewing posts.

Great Site/ Organized/ So user friendly

What do you like best about the product?
I love that with Hootsuite I can schedule postings throughout all social media platforms. It posts on time and correctly and even modifies posts to fit the proper social channel. I can follow our hashtags and other social sites and ensure we are getting the word out! We've been able to watch our numbers grow through this amazing social platform that allows us to reach out to our entire community. Hootsuite takes the guess work out of proper social media management and makes it easy to do a great job doing it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like about using Hootsuite is that you can't post the same post multiple times. Everything else about the program is fantastic and I cannot recommend it enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being a Communication Specialist, I have to use social media to communicate with our consumer. Hootsuite makes it easy to do that. Their social media management is an awesome way to keep your business organized and interact with other businesses out there.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to view your stream and add other like competitors can be really helpful. I can look in hootesuite to manage both my twitter and facebook.
What do you dislike about the product?
A better look at reports and data would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automate the posting so we can plan everything in advance and not worry about it later.

Hootsuite provides an incredibly seamless integration to help you manage all of your social media channels.

There is nothing I dislike about Hootsuite.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to manage multiple social media handles while having the ability to schedule out messaging. I use a spreadsheet and calendar to track past and upcoming content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Hootsuite interface could use some improvements, but overall I am happy with all the updates throughout the years. This product could improve by cleaning up the interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows us to offer better programming an the ability to plan messages in advance.

Easy to Use for Small Agencies

What do you like best about the product?
I like the excel features of the process - it makes bulk edits/changes/updates super simple. I also like that you are able to get ahead of your social calendar with this tool - it makes planning ahead and scheduling a walk in the park.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the platform interface itself was easier to navigate and that more data was exportable. I also think that the adoption rate is a little difficult because it's a bit only geared towards social. Including programmatic monitoring in a platform would be ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Hootsuite to deploy social media posts and review performance. We have truly realized the benefit of scheduling - Hootsuite is providing a second set of hands when it comes to monitoring performance and scheduling our social posts. The biggest benefit is the time savings and efficiency gained, especially if you have a healthy ROI from your social media advertising campaigns.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would consider this product especially if you are a smaller company/agency looking for a solution to improve your social posting, management and/or analytics.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and works for a wide variety of social platforms -- Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. I used it personally for a long time before my company switched over to manage our branded accounts. My favorite thing is how simple it is to keep track of all your interactions/mentions in one organized column.
What do you dislike about the product?
You're restricted to the ow.ly URL shortener, which can be annoying if you want to use another, like bit.ly or Google's shortener.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed one central location to manage our various branded accounts -- without doing it in native Twitter and Facebook (bad for security). This made our social process very streamlined, organized and efficient. It's super simple to use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider all your options, of course, like SocialFlow, but Hootsuite is pretty much a no-fail choice.
