What do you like best about the product?
I love the HootSuite interface. It is easy to manage and get around, especially if you have never used it before. I appreciate the easiness to schedule posts and that it lets you choose the type of information you want to always view.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the fact that some of the most important features of social media management cost so much extra. For example, the analytics. You can view them with the normal subscription, but to have the capability to download the data, its an additional $60 a month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to schedule social posts when we are not in the office allows us to always stay current and consistent with our audience engagement.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This can be an affordable program to use if you need some minor social media management all in one place. It can get a bit pricey when you start adding features, but they are good features. Their analytics is easy to understand and you can download them in a variety of formats. This is an industry standard program, and there is a reason for it. Easy to use and useful.

It's compatible with everything! It makes it simple to work as a team. The feed function is amazing to find new content!
What do you dislike about the product?
No Content suggestion, no multilanguage capability. Very costly for some functions.

Saves me too much time

What do you like best about the product?
I can link various social media accounts and just send out one post. I can also schedule posts so I can use this to take care of many projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
you have to pay to link more accounts which I understand..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems really. Sometimes I have to type links manually or address titles but its no big deal.

Try it out you'll love it.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that i have access to all my streams in one dashboard, and that i can pre-plan my marketing campaigns. It's a huge time saver, and offers flexibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish i could post more than 30 messages in a period. Sometimes my campaigns need far more than 30 posts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
time management mostly. It's a huge time saver to schedule out posts for my marketing campaigns.

For some reason, I am not able to retweet items within the Hootsuite application.

I can keep easily keep track of mentions and messages from one dashboard.

What do you like best about the product?
It was a very helpful tool when looking to schedule social media posts in advance. I had multiple posts per day and it was great so I didn't have to keep logging into to each platform to post. I just scheduled them for each outlet, modified the postings and scheduled them for the date/time!
What do you dislike about the product?
For me, I didn't like the dashboard. I found it to be too much. It was an overload of information about people that followed us, who we followed, etc. I would have liked the dashboard to be clean and simple and less distracting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I said above, there were multiple posts to be taken care of so it really helped me save time and check items off my list since I could schedule them all out and then forget about it. The number one benefit for me was saving the time to not have to go into each outlet and post when they needed to go out.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your job is to handle social media, this tool is great for you. The time savings is phenomenal and will help you "set it and forget it!" It will give you the analytics per outlet and per post which is super helpful for reporting on your ROI, engagement, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can schedule posts out and not have to worry about it after that! The calendar view is awesome because I am a visual person and I can see what is going out at what time. I also love that I can follow other streams on Hootsuite, but not actually follow them on the social media accounts. It's a great way to see what our competitors are doing. The certification videos helped a lot as well because it not only helped me figure out how to utilize Hootsuite to it's full extent, but also the best practices on each social media platform. For twitter and instagram, i love that not only can i search for our streams or other users, but i can add a stream of different hashtags, or when someone mentions us. before, I was going on every couple of days to see who was using our name in hashtags and it was so time consuming.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like Facebook and Twitter, I wish Instagram would post automatically. Hootsuite is also supposed to send a notification to me on my phone through the app when it's time to post on Instagram, but never seems to do so
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
managing what is going out on all of our social media platforms, making sure we are posting every day, and we are saving time by scheduling posts out. I am saving a ton of time!!! I also like to see what competitors are doing by adding their streams as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I help agents utilize social media and if they are managing multiple accounts I always recommend using Hootsuite. I love it, I have used it at my last 2 jobs and I will always recommend it

What do you like best about the product?
Very simple to use, easy to figure out. Scheduling content was easy, and easy to teach interns how to use to schedule content. There are also monitoring tools built in, but we did not do a good job of utilizing this feature. Analytics were good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the time, we didn't have any issues. However, there were a few times where posts didn't get posted. At first, we thought it was user error, but after double and even triple checking, there weren't any errors on the scheduling end - the posts just never made it to the social platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simple and easy to schedule social media content for multiple clients. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and LinkedIn were the social platforms we used. Analytics were easily accessible as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very effective and easy to use, just make sure to monitor that your scheduled posts are going out on a regular basis.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, you dont need to be a social media expert to master hootsuite. The Webinars are also very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the support for some social media avenues was little to none.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This gave me the ability to schedule my posts for multiple pages and time zones so I do not have to wake up early to post.

Hootsuite will not make your social media campaigns perfect but it will give you the freedom to create and push content at a high level.
