Hootsuite - Great for Social Media Scheduling and Improving

What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can have several social media platforms linked and organized within the screen. It's visually easy to see all your posts and see which platform they are scheduled for.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I used Hootsuite, not all the social media platforms were linked in a way that Hootsuite could automatically post for you. Instead, you'd need to set a reminder or get sent a push notification and then you would have to copy and paste your post into the actual platform itself. I believe this has changed - I no longer work with Hootsuite but my coworkers do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We manage several of our clients' social media accounts so Hootsuite solves the problem of scheduling - we can schedule as far in advance as we'd like and don't need to go on each individual account daily. It's increased our speed and reliability of posting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend getting used to Hootsuite via one account - so manage one account's platforms via it (instagram, Facebook, twitter) and then add on from there. It can be a little overwhelming to have a ton of accounts to start off with.

What do you like best about the product?
I like hootesuite because it is so easy to use and it has some cool features. I like that I can use it as a way to describe items that I use in my daily work routine, that I can review the office supplies that I really feel are unique to the use, such as white out tape is really useful for me in a pinch and I can review it on hootesuite and post it immediately. I love sharing the item and also selling my supplies online. I buy alot of school supplies and I give some away to new teachers as well as I have some left over and I can use this to sell them.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is really hard to review my posts and make sure that I actually posted the review etc. I would like for the app to be more easier to use as far as posting information about my products that I have for sale or exchange.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am providing valuable information aboit business products and services to many in my network of friends and colleagues who use various office supplies.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Please consider reaching out to the educational community, administrators, principals, parents in PTA's, student teachers etc.

Great social dashbaord to manage multi clients

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, specially for my team of content and community managers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite has a basic User experience is a little obsolete, but nothing serious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
managing multing accounts, clients and reporting, it's great for that!

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to schedule out full weeks of tweets in advance
What do you dislike about the product?
If you aren't careful, you can accidentally share information about Hootsuite in your tweets/social feed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Save time from tweeting every day, and instead scheduling it all out in advance.

Definitely a great platform to use when you want to save time in managing social media.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can follow hashtags and post to multiple platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was incredibly overwhelming to look at and didn't feel user-friendly or intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If I had continued using it, I'm sure it would have helped with our social media management.

Look at other platforms to compare first before deciding.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how we can schedule our posts and do everything straight from Hootsuite. You can simply post or schedule the same post all across your social media channels, without having to log into multiple accounts and post one by one.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be really honest, there is nothing that I dislike about Hootsuite. Perhaps the interface, which could be better, but other than that, I am really pleased with this software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Social Media Specialist, I manage and monitor multiple accounts and Hootsuite is making me save time when I need to plan and schedule/post my content.

What do you like best about the product?
Allowed me to combine together and monitoring several news feeds into one screen. I also was impressed with its versatility in terms of allowing me to integrate feeds from different networks, such as twitter and Facebook.
What do you dislike about the product?
Steep learning curve, but got to be easier once you figured it all out. Originally turned to it as a part of my second screen experience during the elections and while watching The Walking Dead. I experienced some speed issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I see Hootsuite as a great tool for anybody who needs to follow the feeds or customer responses on multiple accounts, or if you share multiple accounts between two or more people.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think through how you will use Hootsuite. Decide who will manage it, what accounts will be integrated into it, and what you want to accomplish.

All in One Resource for Social Media Pros

What do you like best about the product?
I feel like Hootsuite came in before social media jobs were officially a thing. They were a great option for companies without a social person because you could schedule and go about with your day, but now that social media is a full time job, it allows for the pros to get more done and focus on strategy without the worry of live posting 100% of the time
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it would allow automatic posting to Instagram vs. a notification to post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With ideal posting times of after hours, it has been a lifesaver in the scheduling department. We're able to schedule a head of time and not worry about drops over the weekend or having to put in extra hours

price? there is a trial which helps.. I guess the next thing would be best practices

getting a grasp of social media and how to manage having a presence on twitter and other platforms

support. there are many platform aggregators out there. check for ongoing support. When facebook/twitter changes, you want a platform that is on top of changes

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I could add most of my social media accounts and could see feeds.
What do you dislike about the product?
It wasn't easy for me to see how to schedule posts across platforms, and there were few automation features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After trying to use Hootsuite for a few weeks, I gave it up in favor of something a little easier to use, but less powerful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Setting up Hootsuite requires a significant time expenditure to learn how to use it properly. A social media manager would likely find Hootsuite to their liking, but it wasn't appropriate for my social media needs and time available to fully utilize it.
