What do you like best about the product?
It is an amazing social media management and automation tool. We use it extensively to manage our social media platforms and also for clients. The option to optimize posts, AI hashtags and scheduling makes our work much easier. The option to schedule posts as per the regions active time makes it more engaging and can be tracked to understand engagement using analytics. It is easy to use and integrates well with social media platforms
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform can have better writing tools and more automations for posting and boosting posts. The pricing for the plans doesn't justify offerings as the product has limited features to increase reach
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us manage our social media accounts and also multiple social media accounts for various clients, we can assign different sets of account to a team member to manage and track their performance using analytics. The option to assist with post writings and tone makes it easy to publish or schedule content. The overall platform makes it great for us to make a calendar for a month with content scheduled for specific day and time. The option to track engagement makes it easier to understand user behavior and improve our strategies
Helpful for Planning & Managing Social Media
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a great tool for organizing, scheduling, and managing our social media content all in one place. It’s made planning ahead much easier for our team and helps keep everything on track. Occasionally, some accounts disconnect and need to be reconnected, but overall it’s a reliable and efficient platform for social media management.
What do you dislike about the product?
how the accounts disconnect and publishing cant be preformed and how you cannot connect insta accounts that dont have a meta business FB account

Easy Scheduling and Great Month View, But Needs More Personalization Options
What do you like best about the product?
I like the scheduling system. I think it is so easy to schedule in advance and I like that I can see the month view with all of my posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that there was an option to write maybe ideas in the Calendar view to make it more personalized for my planning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps my brain to feel less jumbled and I don't have to think about if I have to post because it is already scheduled. I also do like that it provides you with analytics and trends.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Hootsuite for ten years to schedule social media posts for the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and it has become an indispensable tool for me. I find its scheduling capabilities extremely useful, allowing me to plan days, and sometimes weeks, in advance and keep our social media vibrant, active, and consistent, despite being the sole person in the marketing and communication team. Additionally, I have started utilizing the analytic reports that Hootsuite offers, which have been incredibly helpful in validating my social media strategies. The ability to manage and streamline our social content efficiently due to Hootsuite's features is something I greatly appreciate. Furthermore, I frequently integrate it with other tools like Canva for creating visuals and use platforms such as ChatGPT and Word for drafting captions before scheduling them on Hootsuite.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that the mobile app was a little more intuitive because sometimes I struggle using that. I would love if there was a way to schedule a post multiple times from one screen. I would like to have more report templates.

I use Hootsuite to manage and schedule social media content, keeping our university page vibrant and consistent. It allows me to plan content days or weeks in advance and utilize analytic reports, which are incredibly helpful.

Easy to post across our social media platforms and to tab over and edit the caption specifically all in one spot.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the features are so robust, I doubt I'm fully using it to my advantage. Could use maybe a monthly webinar or video on use, features, instructions or updates.

I also find the team functionality extremely beneficial; I can easily click on a team and distribute posts to all related accounts, which streamlines our operations. Additionally, the analytics feature is invaluable as it allows me to share insights with my bosses and observe real-time growth, enhancing our strategic decisions and demonstrating the progress of our campaigns. Overall, Hootsuite greatly assists in keeping things streamlined and efficient, which makes it a tool I would consider purchasing again.

I find the inability to edit a post within five minutes of scheduling it quite challenging. This limitation can make the platform feel clunky, particularly when I spot typos or errors shortly after scheduling posts. This restriction forces me to consider deleting the entire post to correct a minor mistake, which is not an ideal solution and disrupts my workflow.

It also helps to keep everything organized when juggling multiple accounts. Their AI tools for caption prompts and thumbnail suggestions can be surprisingly helpful when I’m stuck or short on time. Overall, it gives me more consistency in posting and helps me stay ahead.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing feels high for smaller nonprofits or small teams. Some features that feel basic (like more robust reporting or more users) sit behind upgrades that make it more expensive. I also wish the UI was a bit more intuitive — certain things feel like they’re buried or take extra clicks to get to. And sometimes there’s a delay or glitch when it comes to syncing Instagram reels or story content which can interrupt workflow.

Easy Scheduling and Previews, But Tagging and Drafts Need Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use, and the preview option. It's really nice to see exactly what it will look like. I like that I can schedule posts in advance and see some analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could tag easier in Hootsuite instead of after posting. I also wish I could have drafts on certain dates instead of in a drafts folder so we could see when things are slated to go out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration and previewing is great. We are having less errors in our posts.

I like Hootsuite’s ease of use and the ability to post across multiple platforms at once. The comparative analysis is helpful—though I wish it were more in-depth—and I appreciate seeing how our social media stacks up against immediate competitors

What do you like best about the product?
As a Social Media Manager, the convenience Hootsuite gives users is incredibly convenient. I'm able to schedule, curate content, and get ideas for captions all in one place. The software is pretty easy to use!
What do you dislike about the product?
The software is great. I wish they had more pricing options available that could fit more peoples budgets.
