Powerful social media management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a powerful social media management tool that makes it very easy to schedule posts, monitor engagement and manage several accounts from one dashboard. I love the intuitive interface and ability to plan content across various platforms all in one place, which saves a lot of time and effort
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real downside is that some of the features are locked behind higher tier plans which can be a little expensive for smaller businesses, additionally the mobile app isn't just as smooth or reliable as the desktop version for managing content on the go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves me time scheduling posts all in one place rather than on each individual social media account.It helps me stay organised by providing one clear content calendar and easy access to past and upcoming posts.

Account disruptions do happen, and I find myself having to reconnect profiles more often than I’d like—which can be frustrating when managing a large volume of pages. Also, API limitations mean some content types—like Instagram Reels or Stories—require native posting if we want to access full creative functionality. It's understandable, but it’s something to consider if your strategy relies heavily on rich, platform-specific content.

Managing multiple social media accounts across multiple rooftops efficiently. Without it, I’d be constantly logging in and out of different platforms, juggling spreadsheets, and losing time trying to coordinate posts manually.

I work in a PR firm where we manage our own accounts as well as clients' accounts. Hootsuite helps to map out weeks' content in advance. The scheduling tool is a life saver for us - it keeps us on brand and avoid back to back emails. For brand reputation, we have set up multiple brand mentioning boards so we can keep an eye on social media conversations.

I love its analytics dashboard, but they don't have integration with Google Analytics for 360 analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I said, Hootsuite helps to manage weeks of content in advance and is a board tool to manage reputation by keeping an eye on customer interactions so we can take the right action on time to build or save brand reputation. That's our core business. Hootsuite team collaboration saves our team from back-to-back emails and messages to edit content for the brand. Basically, Hootsuite gave our team mental peace and a professional image in front of our clients.

Occasionally, there are delays in syncing or publishing content across certain platforms, which can be a bit frustrating. Some of the more advanced reporting features are only available in the higher-tier plans, which might not be ideal for smaller teams or businesses on a budget. That said, the core features more than meet our day-to-day needs

It also solves the problem of tracking performance, providing clear and easy-to-understand analytics that help us measure ROI and refine our strategy. As a result, we’ve been able to improve engagement, streamline our workflow, and free up time to focus on content quality and campaign planning.
