Hootsuite makes social media management a joy!

  • September 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This platform really shines when it comes to managing all your social media in one spot. You can easily schedule posts for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more, all from a single dashboard.
The bulk scheduling feature is especially helpful for content teams planning weeks or months.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite's interface feels somewhat dated compared to newer competitors, and the learning curve can be steep for beginners. The pricing structure is quite expensive, especially for smaller businesses or solo creators.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It effectively manages a variety of complex tasks associated with social media platforms, including content creation, audience engagement, analytics tracking, and strategic planning. This comprehensive approach ensures that all aspects of social media management are handled efficiently, ultimately driving better results and enhancing online presence.

Solid Tool for Resort Marketing

What do you like best about the product?
The content calendar view is a game-changer for planning seasonal campaigns at our resort. Coming from agency work where I was juggling multiple client calendars. I'm able to see our entire month's content laid out visually from monsoon season highlights to festival promotions. It keeps me organized and helps spot content gaps before they happen.
What do you dislike about the product?
Instagram stories scheduling is clunky and unreliable. Stories are huge for resort marketing. Showing real-time guest experiences, amenities, sunset shots, but I've had scheduled stories fail to post multiple times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite primarily solves the chaos of managing multiple social platforms for a resort brand, and that's been invaluable as I've grown from a social media executive to handling broader digital marketing responsibilities. And the biggest problem it solves is time management.

Pricey, but it does what you need it to do and some.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is really a simple tool to use. I use it practically daily and I'm not sure how it could be any easier. The integration of AI into the platform really is great. I also really enjoy being able to drag and drop my posts to change the day I'm posting something.
What do you dislike about the product?
As the title suggests, Hootsuite is definitely one of the most expensive for what it does. I know that they're constantly improving, but I think their AI could still use some work. Other AI platforms give a little more personality to the content, but OwlyAI feels dry and impersonal. I often find myself using other AI tools to help with content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite saves me a TON of time. I don't have to worry about going to every social media platform to post. I can just go to Hootsuite and manage all of my social channels in one space.

Useful hub for advancing action on multiple platforms simultaneously.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ability to schedule posts and optimize the same post for multiple platforms in one place. It's easy to get to and use daily from, integrating multiple platforms into one visit. If I am knowingly unable to post in the coming days, its a great place to schedule in advance.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is that there is limited functionality - for example on instagram I cannot customize posts to the full degree possible on that platform. Also you need to know the tag completely first, you can't search it on Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple platforms that we use and it takes time to manage them all. Hootsuite saves me time in being able to put content out on all platforms at once.

My go-to partner for social media to educate my audience.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has been very helpful for managing Be Me's social media. Scheduling feature saves me hours every week. I can batch our period education content, schedule it across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter, then focus on engaging with our community. The social listening tools are fantastic - I track conversations about period shame, menstrual health, and pad safety. When someone needs support or has questions about their period, I can jump in quickly with helpful content
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could schedule posts to Google My Business. When we're running period awareness campaigns, being able to schedule everything at once would save so much time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Hootsuite, I was constantly juggling different platforms and missing important conversations. Now I can manage Be Me's education content in one place - Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter all synchronized. We never miss period awareness campaigns anymore. That's the best part and I love about it.

Hootsuite: A Handy Tool for Juggling Many Social Media Accounts

  • August 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like is the fact that all my social accounts are in one dashboard through Hootsuite. Well, it’s the scheduling tool—totally mind-blowing because now I prepare campaigns days in advance rather than literally scrambling to post in ‘real time.’ What I really like is the unified inbox, so I don’t lose out on any comments, DMs…everything is pulled into there. It’s really handy when an event or a campaign gets even a little bit of traction.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every so often, the approval workflow feels a bit cumbersome, especially with high volumes of content spread across teams. I’ve also seen some delay at times when switching between workspaces or loading a big library of assets. Finally, more integrations and automation flexibility -these guys are on par with Sprout Social in that regard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pre-Hootsuite and I was lost in a sea of trying to manage Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter individually, constantly logging in and out and dealing with fragmented analytics. Hootsuite simplified all of this by combining publishing engagement, and reporting into one easy platform. It easily saves me hours each week, helps me clearly demonstrate ROI to my leadership, and keeps my clients' campaigns organized.

Pleased with the product!

What do you like best about the product?
I love how hootsuite makes it easy to post on multiple sites, I also enjoy how AI helps with posting ideas. It does make it easy too use hashtags and that makes it a lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like how much they charge for each user, it would be better to have a package of at least two people, not just one user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is making it easier for us to have a volunteer look at our social media accounts, I would like to have another user on our account.

3 Years with Hootsuite

  • August 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The bulk scheduling feature, honestly. Individually scheduling posts would kill me. I can dump an entire month's content into a CSV file and upload everything at once. Last week I had more than 30 posts for a fashion client. The best part? I can set different posting times for each platform in that same upload. It's not sexy, but it saves me hours every week. Instead of clicking "schedule" 200 times, I'm actually doing the creative work that matters.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite's ad feature isn't that nice so we can't depend on it. It's just basic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Hootsuite, I was logging into every single social platform separately for each client. That meant managing dozens of passwords in sheet, switching between accounts constantly, and having zero overview of what was going where.
Now I can see everything in one dashboard. I know exactly what's posting when, across all platforms and all clients.

I've been using Hootsuite for over 10 years

  • August 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have always found Hootsuite easy to use and have seen many updates to features over the years. The spelling checker and reminders to tag accounts or attach graphics (for LinkedIn) are great. I also like the scheduling facility and ease of editing scheduled posts. I think it's great to get email notifications if a scheduled post hasnt been published for some reason (which doesnt happen often).

Since X (Twitter) removed their analytics function, I have been really impressed with the ease of setting up reports on Hootsuite which I can update each time I need them with a simple click of a button.

I like that I can post to numerous platforms including Google My Business.

Not that I have had to contact them much, but customer service over the 10 years that I have been using Hootsuite has been great including prompt, understanding, kind and helpful responses.

There are lots of things I like about using Hootsuite!
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if I could also search and tag X and Instagram accounts via Hootsuite as I can do with LinkedIn and Facebook, and it would also be great if I could tag in personal LinkedIn accounts.

Also, the ability to schedule posts to Google My Business rather than having to post live would save me time, as I could schedule all my client posts at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For over 10 years, Hootsuite has helped me to save numerous hours scheduling content in advance on behalf of my 8 clients with over 40 social media accounts between them. The convenience of being able to search for and tag social media accounts on Facebook and LinkedIn whilst scheduling content is also great.

Hootsuite allows my client's Google profiles to be regularly updated with the ease of publishing posts whilst I use the software to schedule other content.

When X removed their analytics, Hootsuite's analytics section allowed me to seamlessy continue providing insights to my clients which I do on a quarterly basis.
