What do you dislike about the product?
1. Higher pricing than many alternatives
Hootsuite has increased its prices over time, and it can feel expensive—especially for small businesses, solo creators, and freelancers.
2. Learning curve
Because it’s feature-heavy, the interface can feel overwhelming at first compared to simpler tools like Buffer or Later.
3. Limited features on lower-tier plans
Some key features (advanced analytics, more profiles, team collaboration) require higher-priced plans.
4. UX/UI feels dated to some users
Although it has improved, some users feel the dashboard isn’t as modern or intuitive as newer platforms.
5. Social listening limitations without add-ons
Hootsuite has listening tools, but deep listening/monitoring often needs expensive upgrades or integrations.
6. Mobile app isn’t as strong as the desktop version
Some tasks are harder to do on mobile, making on-the-go management less smooth.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing many social accounts/platforms
When you have multiple social profiles (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, etc.), juggling logins, content calendars and posting times becomes complex.

Feels like having a second pair of hands for social media
What do you like best about the product?
I started using Hootsuite when juggling multiple pages started to feel like a circus act. Between the Shantilal Muttha Foundation and Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana, there’s always something happening: events, updates, impact stories. Hootsuite made that chaos make sense. I can see all our platforms in one view, plan posts ahead, and not worry about missing a day. It’s oddly satisfying to watch the content calendar fill up.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app isn’t as smooth as I wish it were. It works, but when I’m traveling or trying to tweak a scheduled post quickly, it sometimes lags or feels cramped. I’ve learned to just wait till I’m back on my laptop. Also, LinkedIn posts don’t always preview the way I want inside Hootsuite. It’s a small thing, but I care about how our visuals and text line up. Those little details matter when you’re managing brand pages that represent so many people’s work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s become the heartbeat of how I manage our communication on social media. For the foundations, social media isn’t just about marketing, it’s about storytelling, community, and education. Hootsuite helps me keep that rhythm steady. It saves time, yes, but more importantly, it helps us stay intentional. Every post, every reply, every campaign feels more organized and thought through.
Sometimes I look back at our old way of working with scattered spreadsheets, reminders, and frantic last-minute uploads, and I can’t imagine going back. Now, we have space to think about why we’re posting, not just when. That’s the part I value most. It’s not just software. It’s structure, in the best possible way.

Hootsuite helps me stay on top of everything
What do you like best about the product?
I handle several client accounts every day, and it’s such a relief to see everything in one place. I usually start my day by opening the dashboard with my coffee, and it gives me a clear view of what’s scheduled, what’s performing well, and what still needs work.
The calendar view is a big help. It’s simple, and I can move posts around without any fuss. It makes planning feel less stressful.

What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile app could be better. It’s nice for quick checks or replying to comments, but it doesn’t feel as smooth. Sometimes when I’m on the go and want to edit a scheduled post or switch between accounts, it lags.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me and my team at Sound Horn, Hootsuite has made a real difference. We manage social media for different brands, and before this, it always felt messy. Now I can plan a full week of content in one go, and things actually run on time.
Clients like seeing the reports because it helps them understand what’s working. It’s also given us more time to focus on the creative stuff like writing better posts or planning campaigns that feel fresh. Hootsuite makes my days smoother and gives me more space to think, which honestly matters a lot when you’re doing social media full time.

My social media calendar became organized
What do you like best about the product?
I spend most of my day inside Hootsuite, and honestly, I can’t imagine my workflow without it anymore. At Edelytics, we handle multiple education brands, from schools to colleges to coaching institutes, and every single one has its own tone and rhythm. Trying to manage all of that manually used to feel like spinning too many plates at once. Hootsuite gives me this strange sense of calm in the middle of it all.
What do you dislike about the product?
AI tool could learn tone a bit better. We work with education brands, so one day I’m writing for a playful Gen Z audience and the next it’s parents looking for credible information. I still have to tweak things a lot to make them feel right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I handle several education brands at once at Edelytics, and before Hootsuite, it was honestly a mess. Too many tabs, too many spreadsheets, too many “did we post this yet?” moments. Now, everything’s in one place. I can plan campaigns, schedule posts, and track performance without losing my mind.
It’s made collaboration smoother too. My seniors can review and approve content right in the dashboard, which saves a lot of time. And the analytics help me actually show results instead of just guessing what worked

Streamlined Social Media Management with Intuitive Features
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Hootsuite for 8 years across two organisations for social media creation and approval, which speaks volumes about its reliability and effectiveness. Hootsuite's blend of cost and functionality is good. The setup process was fairly intuitive. It effectively solves the challenges of content approval, scheduling, and managing multiple users, enhancing efficiency and reducing errors by ensuring content is properly reviewed and approved. All users in my team have visibility of the scheduling calendar which assists in planning. One of the standout features I like is the analytics reporting and the ability to create custom reports using tags. This functionality allows me to evaluate how content performs and strategically develop more high-performing content. The ability to filter by tags or platforms in the calendar view and the post duplicate function further enhance content management. The improved Canva integration has streamlined the work process by saving time; we no longer need to export files from Canva and then upload them to Hootsuite separately. The feature allowing member and admin permissions is well-designed, making the platform intuitive for posting tasks. These capabilities have had a positive impact on our social media management and overall workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be beneficial if I could delete unapproved responses in Inbox 2.0. Additionally, the user interface for the Inbox could be improved. It would be useful for the admin to have the capability to edit submitted replies sent via Inbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite solves approval, scheduling, and multi-user management, providing calendar visibility for planning. It ensures content review to reduce errors and boost efficiency. Analytics aid content strategy, while Canva integration saves time by streamlining design uploads.
Hootsuite helps me stay productive while handling many clients
What do you like best about the product?
I run a small social media agency called Social Palette with my co-founder, and we manage different brands in fashion, food, and lifestyle. Hootsuite makes our work so much easier. I like how I can see everything in one place, all the posts, drafts, and client approvals. It saves me from switching between apps or chasing people for feedback.
The reports are very helpful too. They look clean and make it simple to show our clients what’s working. I also use their AI tool sometimes when I’m stuck writing captions. It’s not perfect, but it gives me a place to start.

What do you dislike about the product?
The app on my phone doesn’t work as smoothly as the desktop one. Sometimes I just want to make a quick edit or check a post, and it takes longer than it should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite keeps us organized. Before this, we used Google Sheets and a bunch of messages to manage posts. It was messy and stressful. Now we can plan, schedule, and track everything in one place.
It saves me a lot of time and mental space. I can focus more on creating good content and less on managing chaos. It helps me and my team stay balanced because we get things done without burning out. For someone who values slow, meaningful work, that really matters to me.

Social Media Scheduling Simplified, But Support Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Hootsuite for two years primarily for social media management. One of the features I find particularly useful is the scheduling of posts and content creation. It allows me to have everything in one platform, which is incredibly convenient for managing social media efficiently. Setting it up was easy, and it integrates well into my workflow, making it an essential tool for handling my social media tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find canceling the subscription to be difficult. Furthermore, I am dissatisfied with the customer service, particularly when dealing with billing and technical issues. Additionally, I perceive that there are better and cheaper alternatives to Hootsuite available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite for scheduling social media posts, having everything on one platform, simplifying social media management.
Hootsuite keeps me grounded
What do you like best about the product?
I love the content calendar the most. Managing multiple accounts for Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth means switching between platforms, tones, and audiences all day long. Some days it feels like juggling with one hand tied. But then I open Hootsuite, and everything’s laid out in front of me, scheduled posts, drafts, messages, analytics. It’s almost calming.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it feels like the analytics are thinking harder than I am. They take a while to load, especially when I’m comparing campaigns or different program pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, so much of what I do is about connection showing people what our university stands for, what our programs can offer, and how education here can change their lives. Hootsuite helps me do that in a way that feels intentional, not rushed.
When we're promoting our MBA or BBA programs, I can track what kinds of posts actually make people stop and engage. I've learned that our student stories and faculty highlights get the most love, so we lean into that more now. It's not just numbers on a dashboard anymore. It's patterns, little insights that shape how we communicate.
It's funny, but using Hootsuite has made me slow down a bit in a good way. It lets me plan, reflect, and tell better stories about who we are as an institution. I feel more creative and less reactive. And in the middle of the constant scrolling, posting, measuring… that balance feels rare and worth keeping.

It makes social media management feel calm, even on the messy days
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Hootsuite for a while now, mostly for my freelance clients and the brands I handle through Wisteria, and honestly, it’s one of those tools that just makes me exhale. You know that moment when you’re staring at ten tabs, each with a different social account, and you’re trying to remember which post is waiting for approval? Yeah. Hootsuite saves me from that.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is a bit high. As a freelancer, I wouldn't pay for it myself. It works through my agency, but it's too expensive for solo use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite keeps me steady. That’s probably the best way to put it. Social media can feel constant and loud, especially when you’re managing multiple brands that all want to sound different. Having one place to organize it all helps me stay focused and calm.
At Wisteria, it’s helped us look more professional too. Our clients love the branded reports. It’s such a small thing, but being able to show them a clean, visual breakdown of their engagement or reach makes our work feel tangible.

Effortless Social Management, But Needs Better TikTok and Cover Photo Options
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Hootsuite is the ease of usage. The dashboard explains everything well and the chat feature is very helpful when running into issues ands the customer support is very thorough on solving problems. It was very easy to link our social account and integrate them into the system. The reports on when it is the best time to publish is very helpful. I am constantly using this platform daily for all social media needs. Overall implementing this software into our business has been very easy and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that I dislike about Hootsuite is when it comes to selecting a cover photo for reels and tiktoks. I wish it had a greater selection option or that you could select a photo on your own similar to that when posting directly from a social media platform. Also Hootsuite does not give you an option to select or upload a cover photo for TikTok videos. Another thing is that you cannot post photo posts or static carousels on Hootsuite for TikTok. Lastly I wish there was a feature where you could preview your content on your feed to see how it looks on the grid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It it helping us benchmark and compare our social media to others in our industry. this information has been very helpful in how we shape and tweak our strategy to stay cutting edge. Also it has provided great information on how to make our socials more engaging and what areas we can improve in.
