What do you like best about the product?
Easy and intuitive user interface to work with
Commissioning/decommissioning a service is only a few clicks
Everything has an API so sky is your limit for integration

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have much to complain about. The service we get is pretty reliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting various locations in our organisation through Megaport L2 service
Highly responsive and easy partner to work with. Great service at an affordable price

Speed, Cost, Responsiveness and no commitments.

Certain technical limitations around enterprise implementation such as /29 BGP advertisement

What do you like best about the product?
The collaboration between Megaport and my team has been awesome. They are always willing to help and even just talk through future plans.
What do you dislike about the product?
There hasn't been anything that I would say that I dislike, in most cases what may have started out as a dislike ended up being a case for me to learn.

Portal is easy and fast. Support chat is great.

Assigned ports are often bad like 1 in 5.

Very reliable and robust product
What do you like best about the product?
Our company was using Megaport products for 5 years. I was one of the technical leads who was involved in practical configuration and management of the product. There are several aspects that I would like to highlight based on my experience:
1. Documentation and step-by-step guides are very well formed and include examples for almost all possible cases. This way, it was very easy to configure the product. That's very handy because configuring such connections is not something you do very often.
2. Very robust product. If implemented in redundant manner according to best practices and recommendations, it provides outstanding service. During all years we used VXC for our cloud connection, there was not a single incident to it.
3. Also, I found very helpful that all upcoming changes can be tested and verified in Megaport's staging portal without risking production environment.
4. Our organisation's current focus is Infrastructure as a Code. Megaport support for APIs was very handy here.
5. Customer service and help - I experienced that on several engagements.
Overall, I have very positive experience working with Megaport as a partner company, and I have enjoyed using their products.

Don't have anything to say here. During all our engagement Megaport has provided the service on the level they promised to deliver. Not a single SLA breach.

Megaport provides us connection of our two Data Centers to clouds - AWS and Azure both private and public environments.

We have been using Megaport for several years now, and I’m incredibly impressed with their service. As a business that requires reliable, fast, and secure connectivity solutions, Megaport has delivered on all fronts. Their platform provides seamless interconnection with leading cloud providers, and the speed and performance of their service are exceptional.
Customer support has been top-notch as well. Anytime we’ve had questions or needed assistance, the team has been responsive, knowledgeable, and quick to resolve issues. It’s rare to find such a high level of service in this industry, and it’s something I truly appreciate.

There are no major drawbacks with Megaport at least for now.

Best Service
What do you like best about the product?
Not see service related issues or interruptions. In case if any issues comes, online chat support is best.

I don't have any specific comment to mention for Megaport dislike.

I am working with Megaport , for raising a fault log and communicate with support team to follow up.
DC to Cloud Migration
What do you like best about the product?
The support and virtual circuits that are easy to set-up/tear-down.
What do you dislike about the product?
Virtual circuits are not redundant. You have to buy 2 to get redundancy. When a maintenance on an MCR occurs, the entire circuit goes down. I would think a circuit could have multiple paths in an MCR instance. To keep costs down, we opted on IPSec tunnels for our backup routes. Keeping our costs down to single, primary circuits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connection of DCs to Clouds. And interopabilty between AWS and our 2 main cloud providers, OCI and Azure.

great services and easy to use the megaport portal to provision.

There should be more interactions for the support team if there's an issue with the provisioning.

What do you like best about the product?
This team has a real can do attitude! Megaport have worked with us to provide an excellent capability for our business. Networking has been implemented easily, and sales team have been great to deal with.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only possible thing was maximum contract length available via online portal was limited to 3 years - not really a deal breaker
