Keep Your Website Up and Your Patrons Calm
What do you like best about the product?
Once you have it set up, it is very easy for us to replicate events so it's not starting from scratch every time. It's a great amount of control, as well as valuable real time data about wait times, number of queued people, and more. Customer service has also always been very helpful for us, and it integrates so well with our ticketing software (Tessitura). We use it for major onsales, so maybe about a 12-15 times a year, but it's worth it every time to keep our website up and running. The ability to update waiting messages in real time is also a key bonus. Plus, if you run into them at a conference or trade show, they have great swag (try to snag a WAIT hat!).
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the help documentation was a little more robust. Some of the rules as far as characters and spacing in set-up of rooms feels punitive, but not at all a dealbreaker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Queue-It helps us ensure that our website doesn't crash, both when we have planned huge onsales (Hamilton, Wicked, etc.) or just general sudden unexpected bursts of traffic. AND, when we do have those, it's helping us make sure that we're doing what we can to mitigate bots. Queue-it allows orderly and smooth entrance and use of our website, and makes the anxiousness of our customers drop considerably.
Effortless Queue Management and Flawless Performance
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to setup the queue room and to monitor and control traffic through it on the go. It works flawlessly as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of anything I do not like about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Queue-it helps us control flow of clients though our web servers hosting the app client interface. On city even registration days, we have huge crowds, which if left uncontrolled, can bring the system down to a point hwerer it is unusable. Queue-it has helped us prevent this from happening.
Effortless Monitoring and Insightful Analytics with Outstanding Support
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to monitor and message folks in the waiting rooms is great. The analytics are also very insightful. It is super easy to use and inplement and the support is fantastic!
What do you dislike about the product?
This isn't really a downside, but more of a side effect that the patrons have a longer wait in order to process (in their minds). However, the phrase "slow is smooth and smooth is fast" is applicable because the users are able to get in and out of the platform in an orderly fashion without resources hemorrhaging and servers failing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing our patrons to register for programs on the opening day without crashing our servers. The flow metering is crucial to our success. We were running into issues with server loading and bogging/crashing due to high post-pandemic traffic patterns. Those problems have gone away after implementing Queue-it's waiting room. Also, the ability to block bots has also greatly helped in improving performance during those times.
Reliable Traffic Control and Seamless Product Launches
What do you like best about the product?
Queue-it does a great job of controlling our traffic and allowing stability for our customers during our busy times. Queue-it is also used as a method for us to launch new products and drop the curtain at the same time for everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Queue-it works well for us and there is nothing of concern.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Queue-it is helping to manage our traffic during busy times and product launches to allow for sitewide stability with traffic spikes.
Excellent system with with great layout/styling possibilities
What do you like best about the product?
From a technical point of view: it is a great product. It does puts a nice queue before our shop in case we need one. That is what we needed a couple of times a year.
Integration with CloudFront is smooth.
A very nice bonus is the possibility to style the waiting room layout to match our shop/event. Gives a great user experience.

What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is not always very intuitive, but they are always available to help us out if we can't find the setting ourselves:)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a big sale a few times year, attributing more traffic than our servers can handle. Queueit provides a waiting room, spreading out the load on our servers over a longer time.
Virtual Waiting Room Shines, Excellent Support
What do you like best about the product?
Virtual waiting room is a good feature which allows high spike traffic to be manageable to prevent server overload and crashes. The support team from Queue-IT is responsive and helpful when issues arises from critical launches.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboard and UX can be better and more intuitive. Missing easy integration plugins to Splunk, Pager Duty, Slack
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Preventing sudden high spike traffic.
Exceptional for High-Traffic Events with Intuitive Configuration
What do you like best about the product?
Queue-it is valued for its reliable virtual waiting room that prevents site crashes during traffic spikes, its fair and transparent queuing experience, easy integration with existing systems, real-time control and monitoring, strong stability during high-demand events, customizable queue pages, and helpful analytics for understanding user traffic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Queue-it is helpful but comes with some drawbacks. The main dislikes are that it interrupts the user experience, can feel unbranded or separate from the main site, and requires careful configuration to work well. Some integrations can be complex, analytics aren’t always as deep as teams want, and costs can rise for large events. Users may also get confused if messaging isn’t clear, and organizations may become overly dependent on it instead of fixing underlying scalability issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Queue-it solves the problem of websites crashing or slowing down during high-traffic events—such as registrations, product launches, ticket sales, or donation spikes. It offloads excess users into a virtual waiting room so the backend systems remain stable and responsive. This prevents outages, protects the user experience, and ensures that legitimate traffic can continue flowing in a controlled manner.
The benefit is that your systems stay online even during unpredictable surges. Customers get a fair, transparent queueing experience rather than errors or timeouts, and your team gains real-time visibility into traffic loads. Ultimately, it reduces operational stress, protects revenue-critical events, and lets you plan high-demand moments with confidence.

Excellent Bot Protection That Delivers Results
What do you like best about the product?
They have helped us tremendously in the fight against bots on our website.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a better way to stop traffic from specific countries or parts of the US. We have trouble in certain areas and it would be great if we could do this in bulk.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data Centers has been causing a lot of problems with our cart. Queue It has helped us to lower the number of bot attacks and has helped us fight synthetic traffic.
Essential for Managing High-Traffic Events, Easy to Use and Highly Customizable
What do you like best about the product?
Queue-it has really saved our backsides many times during massive on-sale spikes! We host a relatively large ticketing and event management platform (save name) and had so much trouble managing large traffic influx during big on-sales prior to queueit introduction. Now we can handle these episodes much more effectively. Big pros are the ease of use on the admin side, configurations, lots of abilities and controls, and customization. We don't plan to discontinue queue-it anytime soon! and our platform is growing substantially each year. So we need this.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dislikes are short list, but definitely big hits. Having the ability to enforce queue-it on a per-event basis and not platform wide is huge for us. Hoping to get that ability eventually. Also the integration of the SDK on our legacy platform was not super straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
See above, but essentially traffic flow control and bot/scalper mitigation.
Reliable High-Traffic Management with Seamless User Experience
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Queue-it is how predictably and transparently it manages high-traffic events. It gives us a controlled, orderly way to protect downstream systems during peak demand without degrading the guest experience. Instead of systems failing under sudden load, Queue-it absorbs the surge, meters users into the application at the rate our infrastructure can handle, and gives guests clear feedback about their place in line. That combination of protection + predictability + communication is extremely valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest challenge with Queue-it is that it can introduce operational complexity and guest friction if it isn’t tuned perfectly. When it’s configured well, it’s fantastic. But when it's not, we feel it immediately across Observability, Ops, and Guest Experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Prevents system overload during peak demand
2. Protects revenue by keeping the storefront available
3. Creates a controlled, stable environment for Observability & AIOps
4. Helps isolate performance bottlenecks
5. Reduces guest frustration during outages
6. Creates operational breathing room
