What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to be mentioned about dislike! But sometimes faced workflow issue, which occurred rarely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric addresses the challenge of scattered, siloed data across various enterprise systems. Traditionally, integrating this data into workflows demanded custom development and intricate integrations, which hindered automation. However, Data Fabric unifies and makes information accessible in real time, enabling seamless workflows across applications. This results in faster decision-making, reduced dependence on IT for data access, and more agile process automation, ultimately enhancing efficiency and fostering a connected experience throughout the organization.
Connect and consolidate data across various sources all in ServiceNow.
What do you like best about the product?
Integrating ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric with various sources helps connect and consolidate data across different sources in ServiceNow is a very powerful tool similar to that of Power BI source connection.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because the product is new, the lack of thorough documentations from various, different experts and data samples visuals across different data doesn’t widen the creativity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without moving data and users across different platform, ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric helps retain users in a single platform, ServiceNow.

A good service but lacks intuitivity
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric is how it brings together data from multiple systems into a unified, trusted layer that can be used across workflows. Instead of workflows being siloed or dependent on complex integrations, the Data Fabric makes information accessible, consistent, and reusable across the entire ServiceNow platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Complex setup and learning curve: It can take significant time and expertise to properly model data sources, relationships, and governance rules.
Dependency on ServiceNow ecosystem: The full benefits are realized only if much of your workflow and data strategy lives inside ServiceNow, which can create vendor lock-in.
Performance at scale: In very large, complex environments, pulling and normalizing data from multiple systems may introduce latency if not carefully optimized.
Cost considerations: Licensing and implementation costs can be high compared to lighter-weight integration tools.
Change management: Shifting teams to rely on the Data Fabric instead of existing integration practices often requires cultural and process adjustments.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data silos – Different departments and systems often keep data isolated, making it hard to build end-to-end workflows.
Complex integrations – Traditionally, connecting multiple apps and databases required heavy custom development and maintenance.
Inconsistent data quality – Without governance, workflows can run on outdated or conflicting information.
Slow decision-making – When data isn’t accessible in real time, automation and insights are limited.
In short: ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric solves the fragmentation of data across systems, and the benefit is that workflows are more intelligent, reliable, and efficient.

Good Software, Slight Improvements Needed
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric is how it unifies information across different systems and workflows. Instead of having to chase down data in multiple places, the platform creates a single layer of truth that’s accessible across the ServiceNow ecosystem. This makes processes feel much more seamless and cuts down on errors that come from duplication or inconsistent records. I also appreciate the strong integration capabilities. It connects well not only with ServiceNow modules but also with external data sources, which makes it easier to automate more complex end-to-end business processes.
Another strength is the visibility it provides. Having data consolidated into one view means stakeholders can make decisions faster and with more confidence. For larger organizations especially, this reduces the friction of cross-team collaboration and supports smoother workflows. I also see a lot of long-term value in the platform’s foundation—it sets the stage for scaling automation as the business grows.
While it isn’t perfect, I think Workflow Data Fabric’s best qualities are its unification of data, integration power, and the clarity it brings to decision-making. These strengths make it a meaningful tool in the ServiceNow ecosystem.

What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric is that the setup can feel overly complex and time-consuming, especially for organizations without deep technical expertise. The learning curve is steep, and while the features are powerful, they’re not always intuitive for non-technical business users, which limits accessibility. Performance can also be inconsistent—when dealing with very large volumes of data, the system can occasionally feel sluggish. Another drawback is the cost. For smaller organizations or those not fully invested in the ServiceNow ecosystem, the pricing may feel prohibitive compared to lighter, more flexible integration tools. Lastly, some advanced functionality seems locked behind technical customization, which makes it harder to unlock the platform’s full potential without dedicated resources. These challenges don’t outweigh the benefits entirely, but they do make the platform less user-friendly and more expensive to maintain than it could be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric is solving the problem of data silos and inconsistency across systems. In many organizations, information is scattered in different applications, making it difficult to create smooth workflows or get a clear view of operations. Workflow Data Fabric addresses this by creating a unified data layer that allows information to be shared and accessed consistently across processes. This reduces the need for manual data entry, minimizes duplication, and helps ensure accuracy.
For me, the biggest benefit has been the improved efficiency in workflows and decision-making. Instead of wasting time tracking down information from multiple sources, the data is already connected and visible in one place. This not only speeds up processes but also improves collaboration between teams, since everyone is working from the same set of accurate records. Another benefit is scalability—the platform provides a foundation that supports automation and growth as business needs expand. Overall, it’s solving the challenge of fragmented data by making information more accessible and reliable, which ultimately streamlines operations and improves outcomes.

What do you dislike about the product?
Integration Complexity for External Data: While it excels with ServiceNow data, integrating heavily with external systems can still require additional tools (like Data Pipes), which adds layers of configuration and management.
· Potential Performance Overhead: Virtualizing data in real-time from numerous external sources, rather than storing it locally, can sometimes introduce latency or performance concerns compared to a native dataset.
· Ecosystem Dependency: Its value and ease of use are most pronounced for organizations already invested in the ServiceNow platform; it may be less compelling or more complex to justify for a non-ServiceNow shop.
