Enjoyable experience, Andrew was great
What do you like best about the product?
Direct contact with Andre was beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
Alot of things happened later than I would have hoped. I dot htink this was directly Ampliance fault, it was just not ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
site update speed has improved and the use of components over HTML is invaluable. Has ssped up out working process no end. Also given wider memebers the ability to edit content.
Fast and Easy Upload
What do you like best about the product?
You are easily able to publish images to make live
What do you dislike about the product?
If images are already uploaded does take 24 hours to overwrite
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are no problems that i need solving with Amplience
A very solid tool for graphing and delivering content to any developed experience
What do you like best about the product?
The customization options for defining content and preview options are very strong.
What do you dislike about the product?
Minor issues with UI, but constant improvements are being implemented. Also, the lack of conditionally set fields when editing makes it, so that little workarounds are necessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The headless nature of the platform, preview and visualization features are heavily used to abstract content from apps.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is solid enterprise tool for delivering on medium to large clients.
Top tier content management system
What do you like best about the product?
Amplience is a great content management system that makes creating, modifying, and scheduling content a breeze. The ability to create and reuse templates is essential for scaling projects and new features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not many downsides to Amplience, but I would appreciate more built-in shortcuts. As a content developer, I often re-update content many times per day, including updated individual content items and slots. If there was a keyboard shortcut to perform these actions, it would make my life a lot easier!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We manage all our brand content through Amplience, so it is an essential tool. One large benefit is that if using templates, everything is tied together. So if I have many content types using my templates and need to make a change to a template on the fly, all the content tied to it will be updating using new styling/script or whatever I need to change.
It's a really good platform for people with several websites to upload imagery too
What do you like best about the product?
That you can move images into different folders and it doesn't effect the url names and file paths on websites. Which again is brilliant for people managing several websites for different brands.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you name a folder you have a short amount of time to edit the name before it times out, which can be annoying when working on tight deadlines. Sometimes due to it timing out I think I have named a folder, and it auto exits the editing process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's really good for navigation and the feature of bith dynamic and static banners is really good for dynamic sites and comprehensive html emails. We always struggled with Gif's on our old image hosting til we used amplience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's really good for people with several sites to manage and I recommend their platform for people needing image hosting servcies.
Not the most intuitive or user friendly platform I've used.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to repurpose content into various formats and content types.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how you have to upload an image to content hub and then re-add the image into Amplience. Would be useful if the image automatically pulled through. Also not keen on how many steps there are for editing copy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Content hub is easy to use and the ability to set the focal point on assets is very helpful.
I'm not a huge fan of Ampliance, as I come from an SEO background
What do you like best about the product?
Adding images is easy but content assets are limited
What do you dislike about the product?
Ampliance isn't very user friendly and lacks bulk import capabilities
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nothing really, I come from an SEO background meaning I need to update copy constantly - this has limited capabilities
Easy to use and create CMS
What do you like best about the product?
Its very easy to create assets and build pages that are responsive to different viewports.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's really dependant on your customisation to ensure you get the best out of Amplience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to create banners and pages that allow us to show off our brand and our products to new customers.
It is very simple to use
What do you like best about the product?
You can preview the content immediately which is very helpful feature
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not very convenient to use 2 different sites - amplience content hub and dynamic content
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
adding content to site
Highly reliable but never features slow to roll out
What do you like best about the product?
Vast number of parameters for modifying images
What do you dislike about the product?
24 hour caching causing issues for incorrect uploads
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Greatly reduced page size for images by utilising Amplience's compression plus next gen formats
