Easy and Secure to Use!
What do you like best about the product?
Authpoint is super easy to use and very secure, there is almost no wait time to ge the push notification to work. We used in our computers and VPN connections.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at the moment, maybe the lack of Exchange Online/OnPrem support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security issues are a "normal" problem today and with Authpoint the lack of password complexity is gone and the end user is still secure.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it works across different platforms. I can use it with more than just WatchGuard, and it is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup process takes a little bit to set up. Once I was able to setup the system then it was a little easier to manage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We went with Authpoint because we needed a 2FA set up in the environment.

Make sure you do training because some users have problems.

What do you like best about the product?
AuthPoint is very affordable, easy to addon to a WatchGuard Firebox, easy to manage, and easy to deploy.
What do you dislike about the product?
You cannot cancel a pending email MFA invitation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AuthPoint is a very affordable product to implement multifactor authentication as is now being required by new cybersecurity insurance requirements. The way it integrates with WatchGuard Fireboxes makes it super simple to set up.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you use WatchGuard firewalls, AuthPoint is a great add-on to increase perimeter security to meet the increased threats of today.
Authpoint brings Multi-Factor Authentication to the next level
What do you like best about the product?
Authpoint brings Multi-Factor Authentication to the next level. Besides the traditional tokens that work offline, Autpoint also offers online tokens that add extra security to the system. Authpoint also monitors the devices where the tokes are stored, in order to detect attempts of cloning the whole device to a new device. Users can migrate the token on their own to new devices when needed. When the user initiates this process, then the token is practically deleted from the old device and reinitiates the initial process of token installation via email.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not too fond of the fact that users can't change their password on their own and that they have to contact an admin to send them a new email to reset their password. Would also like to have the ability to set an expiration period for the passwords (e.g. 90 days) after which the users wouyld have to set a new password. It would also be great to have the ability to set the complexity requrements for these password to be complex and to be able to increase the requireed complexity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We mainly use Authpoint MFA to allow remote users to connect to our internal network, using the Watchguard SSL VPN clients. The use of Authpoint MFA and its increased security has allowed us to provide access to most of the company resources to remote users, compared to our old solution, where we had to restrict access to VPN users to the essential resources! So especially in these trying times of the pandemic, Authpoint MFA made the whole concept of working from home possible! With our old solution, we would have to take a significant risk and expose sensitive resources, with being able to protect them adequately.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Authpoint MFA is the best solution we could find out there. They can still improve some things, but the product is still young and will grow to be better. Given time it will become an excellent solution.

Increase security. Ensure that to connect to VPN, you need to have the user's cell phone.

We need to have more internal server gateways than we initially expected.

What do you like best about the product?
We hear about hacks and network vulnerabilities every day in the news, and every business is a potential target. With Watchguard AuthPoint, I can rest assured that my home users can connect to my network in an easy and secure way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to using Watchguard AuthPoint is that the documentation is written in a confusing way. I struggled at first and finally had to open a support ticket with Watchguard to complete the installation. Once it's installed, it's a piece of cake to administrate and roll out to our staff, but getting there was an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The issue we needed to solve is that we have many users working from home now - especially since Covid - and we needed to find a secure and easy way to add Multi-Factor to our VPN authentication. AuthPoint is an economical and easy way to do that.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
AuthPoint is a great service if you're looking for multi-factor authentication for users working at home. A lot of moving parts that you need to get just right at the beginning, but once it's set up it becomes a breeze to use.
Watchguard Support will probably need to be involved during the setup.

What do you like best about the product?
Authpoint is intuitive and very easy to use. The graphical interface is gorgeous, and you never find yourself lost without knowing how to continue.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like everything. To say something, maybe could be some difficult for old people to be patient while is charging. But, i think it´s fine just as it is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Authpoint helps me connect from home to work whenever I want without worrying about possible viruses or problems.

What do you like best about the product?
There are granular controls and features accessable via web portal.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is definitely a steep learning curve for setup and integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to be able to provide Multi-Factor Authentication for VPN clients to our network.
