Effective anomoly recognition
What do you like best about the product?
Unomaly offers great support both technically and with product success. They really put a lot of effort into helping us get value from the system.
We feel quite confident about adding lots of sources into Unomaly without needing to worry that this will result in a large increase of false positives. Even extremely spammy logs are quite fine to add to Unomaly.
We get alerted on Slack so it's pretty quick to monitor the alerts.

What do you dislike about the product?
We found it difficult to integrate into our existing processes. Unomaly does have some linkages to external stuff, but we didn't have any proactive anomaly detection process in place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a product that is built from several interlinking systems. Problems reported by users are not always directly attributable to a particular service. Unomaly helps to aggregate logging and detect potential problems.
It's also been useful with security stuff because irregular actions are also flagged up.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider how you will bring its reports into your existing support processes.
Fantastic overview of your logs
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is the overview enabling us to act before things become an issue.
Setting up the system and adding nodes are done in minutes.
Should you ever run into an issue the Unomaly support will literally help you within minutes.

What do you dislike about the product?
The updating of the server could be a bit smoother, from the web interface for instance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We get an overview of our systems that is not possible without this system.
Users reaching quotas, services not running are some of the things we pick up on very fast.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you try it, be prepared to buy it.
Flexible and informative
What do you like best about the product?
Fairly easier to setup and configure a comprehensive NOC style dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently unable to suppress alerts on devices "chained" behind down devices. So if for example a switch wit ha server connected to it goes down you get alerts for both.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have 2 NOC style boards monitoring system up status and are able to quickly determine when critical devices go offline.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out. Their support alone has been exceptional.

Inexpensive and Critical for Alerting
What do you like best about the product?
It tends to remove a lot of the alert fatigue we experience in our business. We are able to quickly get monitoring on servers without worrying about what forwarder is configured. It saves our small group a significant amount of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation regarding api calls was a bit lacking at some points.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alert Fatigue

Logic Monitor is Well-integrated with ServiceNow
What do you like best about the product?
Since replacing a network monitoring tool with LogicMonitor, I've notice improved events notifications. The product was easily integrated and configuration was relatively simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes at this time, as we've only recently started using the product
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is part of a larger proactive support initiative.
Easily and quickly integrate your infrastructure monitoring to Snow
What do you like best about the product?
LogicMonitor provides all you need when it comes to infrastructure monitoring. We have found LogicMonitor very easy to configure and very reliable.
We were very happy to find a native LogicMonitor integration in Servicenow and that is one of the reason why we will keep LogicMonitor in the coming years

What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboards are not as fancy as other monitoring solutions, but alerting is what we rely on and this works great
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LogicMonitor is our main infrastructure monitoring solution. as part of our cloud migration journey, we wanted a solution that supports all our use cases including our legacy infrastructure in our data center and our new infrastructure on AWS. LogicMonitor was able to cover all our use cases with minimum time spent on customization or development
Over a year now, very happy with the results
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing for me is the built-in performance templates - I didn't need to tweak anything on Day 1, it was monitoring applications and services, performance metrics and capacity without my needing to manually adjust thresholds. Quick and simple setup, in a matter of minutes I was receiving data on my entire enterprise, including printers.
Alerting and notification hierarchy was easy to configure, and so far it's been a breeze when troubleshooting performance issues in our virtual environment - something we could not do with our old product.

What do you dislike about the product?
We've been working on streamlining our run-books, and having the ability to customize the incoming alert context (such as "Circuit 12345 is down, here's the carrier, 800-number and Circuit-ID") is something we could use more assistance with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Capacity planning with storage and VM load-balancing. Also, fine-tuning SQL performance
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've heard people say it's expensive, but the cost of our environment experiencing downtime makes this functionally trivial. Worth the extra features.
All in one monitoring and alerting tool
What do you like best about the product?
Customizability, you can monitor any infrastructure or server you want, great inbuilt tools to automatically detect what services are running on a server and monitoring them. Great uptime and easy to configure
What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile app is bare bones, would appreciate mobile notifications as an alerting mechanism
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Infrastructure and service monitoring with alerting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
go buy it, great tool that is needed in every company we tried a bunch of other monitoring tools and LM beats them all.
