Logicmonitor experience
What do you like best about the product?
Custom attributes in device groups such as snmp.version, esxi.user etc.
This neatly passes the info to all devices in the group

Ugly homepage and a bit of a boring UI, except for the alerts page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unnoticed outages go noticed now. Insights in problema go so mich faster now.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to make dashboards, and the alerting functionality is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's more expensive than other options. From time to time, we've seen gaps in our data.

We are looking for a SaaS tool that can monitor & alert across our hybrid infrastructure.

Nothing to dislike as the dashboards are easy to read and automated and also the ability to allow individual users or customers to have their own APIs and lastly able

Enterprise monitoring and log analysis, it makes it easy to resolves issues expriencied as soon possible, so makes the company perfomance and prodictvie increase

What do you like best about the product?
The issues that we have picked up since starting to use the tool picking up certain access points rebooting and loosing network on particular set within the company
What do you dislike about the product?
We had battled to deploy this cause of a Vlan issue but once we had corrected the network issue would could then start to monitor the network and then capture the network.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Picking up network issues within certain parts of the company network from power to a fiber lead that we just replaced and then this sorted all issues out for us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You should try and monitor everything on the network it will give you good results and insight in to the network.
Best Monitoring tool Ever used.

With all the tools that I have used the way that this product works is just the best from the logs to the reports to the unique graphs one can create looking at the finer detail
What do you dislike about the product?
The installing of the product, I had not really understood but once I had sat down given it some time and looked at everything i then had under stood how to complete it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had picked up issues without VOIP System that we did not know about and always had to reboot the equipment once checking the logs we saw the issues and had corrected them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Deploy this within your whole network will pick up issues and correct a lot of issue that could come up.

It takes to much work to sort out data according to own view

The alerts are helping us resolve issues with our devices.
Very easy to setup, immediately gathers useful data
What do you like best about the product?
The key value for me is the ease of setup and broad support for devices (servers, network, ILO, etc). Immediately having it archive configs, notify on BGP or Disk issues is what we're looking for, with the ability to keep pushing deeper as we have time.

Built in dashboards are very nice, and while it's not hard to setup new ones, adding things like variables to narrow details is a little clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simple but effective operational monitoring. Most other products require quite a bit of configuration to produce value, have databases we need to support, etc.

- It supports almost all of the elements in the infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, WLC and access points, virtual machines, etc.
- You can create dashboards and tune them as you want.

- As of this moment, I think the GUI is not that user-friendly and smooth. Some bugs within the dashboards are not big blockers but are worth paying attention.

- It gives you a surprisingly great inside regarding your routing infrastructure.
- It provides a great insight into your network by creating useful alerts even if they are false positives.

The Best Enterprise Monitoring Platform
What do you like best about the product?
LogicMonitor is simple to deploy in your enterprise, and it's highly customizable, which allows you to gain visibility into your environment quickly. We have easily built customized dashboards for all levels of Leadership and Teams using out-of-the-box templates. Their technical support is top-notch and highly responsive to boot.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only dislike that we have is that we cannot use a custom URL for the portal or email address for sending alerts. It would be helpful for MSP's that want to Whitelabel the product as a reseller.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are monitoring our client's resources, both on-premises and in the public cloud. AiOps and dynamic thresholds help our customers with easy-to-understand trend forecasting and proactive insights into their environment.
Knowledgeable, friendly techs and PMs - easy to work with
What do you like best about the product?
Friendly implementation staff, easy to work with. Flexible scheduling of work sessions. Product monitors most everything automatically.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the tech goes a bit too fast in the working sessions.
