Great Product
What do you like best about the product?
We are new to using MaintainX; however, so far i am extremely impressed. The implementation process was so easy. They have a great team for this process that supports you the entire time. It is so easy to use and navigate as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any negatives at this time as we just started using.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are better able to track spending per asset.

Asset Management Made Simple
What do you like best about the product?
I love that MaintainX is easy to use for both desktop and tablet/mobile users. The integration team is extremely attentive and the customer service is top notch. We successfully migrated our paper-based system to a fully electronic system using MaintainX and the results have been great!
What do you dislike about the product?
The greatest challenge with MaintainX for us, was getting users to complete the work orders appropriately. Some work orders were left "In-progress" because individuals were not marking the order as "Done". A few additional training sessions fixed this. One thing I would like to see more of is some additional customizations for user permissions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining accurate equipment documentation records were troublesome on our paper based system. It was difficult to track when, if, and who performed maintenance activities. However, these records are a regulatory requirement for medical device manufacturers. By adopting MaintainX we have become more compliant, reduced paper waste, and have improved engagement within the production staff for performing equipment maintenance.

What do you like best about the product?
We find the most helpful features offered by MaintainX are a user friendly and intuitive layout, their mobile app, and outstanding technical and customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see a higher dreee of customization of work orders service requests. However, this isn't an issue as everything seems to be laid out pretty well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to consistently track and organize service requests, work orders, parts inventory, assets, and asset information. All of this data is available any time wether from a desktop or a mobile device. Also, communication and documentation are improved with the use of pictures.

What do you like best about the product?
We have spent years searching for maintenance and asset tracking system for our restaurants and have tried multiple approaches with very little success with different applications. We have 14 locations and it's hard to keep track of which asset is where, how many times has it needed to be repaired, and where are the parts needed to repair our equipment. I came across Maintain X and it had everything we've been looking for. Our end users and requestors love it due to ease of tracking an asset's repair history and submitting requests. From the administrator side, It's easy to build reports, import and build a proceedural library, and stay organized in one location.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really do not have any issues with their system and service. They have spent a great deal of time meeting with us and helping us upload our assets into their platform for us. They assigned us a rep who took us through every step of the way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a hard time keeping track of assets at 14 locations. This included work history, parts inventory, and ease of ordering parts. We have seen a decrease in multiple requests on the same peice of equipment for the same problem. Our maintenance teams loves this.
it is easy to use, very user friendly, it makes my company asset in order.

the fact that we can use all functions via the phone is what makes it best app ever!!

so far, nothing. the staff of maintain x are helpful in every way. they make the effort to wake up early and attend our meeting! singapore and the US!!

Best CMMS I have used in my Career
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicty of it. I am able to complete everything I need to, its very user friendly. I utlized the locations as a parts location rather than a multi site or adderess. This allowed tight invetory and it alllows anyone to find a part needed by having just three letters or numbers.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are some additions I would add to the purchase orders, being in the reporting. Anything we track we should be able to report. It would be ideal to be able to add a machine to a purchase order or vise versa for cost reporting.
Downtime reporting is a bit off unless your running 24/7. The uptime should allow us to put in our run hours, as it reports uptime as idle time, uless we go in and reclassify each machine, This is very tedious. I do the math.
Work orders would be ideal if they had a lost time or down time box. if the box is checked, it would automatically ask if the machine needs time for the repair, is down, lost time due to the breakdown...so on.

MaintainX controls my parts inventory, machine uptime, purchase orders, vendor calls with work orders, and it has some awesome features. Anyone can be a requester, meaning anyone with an email can put in a work order request that you have sent a link to. This is an awesome feature. This feature puts miles on the rest. It is simple, easy to use, and self explaintory.
Game Changer
What do you like best about the product?
The usability is amazing! We are able to apply the features to just about every facet of our business from creating work orders, managing supply, to tracking mileage on vehicles. Completely changed how we do business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really haven't found a downside to this platform. Everything I need is included and the May I use it the more capabilities I'm discovering.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before, we were very reactive and really lacked in tracking of assets. Now we are performing planned maintenance and have 100% better asset visibility.
MaintainX is taking our PM system into the 21st century
What do you like best about the product?
Very responsive website, apps. Modern, clean interface. Incredibly customizable. Customer services reps were easy to approach, and willing to work with us to meet our needs
What do you dislike about the product?
The user permission features are only available in the enterprise tier. This means that all employees using the software can edit all company assets, work orders, procedures, etc. This feature should be available at all tiers, not only enterprise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want our PMs to be digitized, moving away from paper. We also want to track our reactive vs preventative maintenance and the auto generated reports in MaintainX help with that.
