The implementation, usability, and customer service of MaintainX can be summed up in one word-EASY!
What do you like best about the product?
The responsiveness of the team is exceptional and the platform is very user-friendly. It didn't require me spending countless hours with the users training them. It's very easy to navigate and there are countless features. Alison and Rola had an answer to all of my questions!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only down-side to MaintainX is the reactive work orders aren't necessarily reactive. A work order is not truly reactive because it's not recurring.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is our site's first experience with MaintainX, and we're using it as a true CMMS.

What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX has already improved our workflow. It's the perfect program to keep all of our data and assets in one place. Their team and support are one of the best features. They are always available to help answer questions and guide us through the process.

Nothing! It's working well for our team!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MaintainX is helping us to keep track of our assets and equiptment while improving the daily operations of our work orders.

What do you like best about the product?
They are very co-operative and willing to work with people. we have suggested a few implements and they have followed through or at least looked into them for us, as well as explained and talked us through things when we were new to using the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing so far. like i said before, they have been brilliant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
its helping us with our storage of parts, assets, login data and costs of all maintenance we are currently doing.
Revolutionized our maintenance program
What do you like best about the product?
Having a main hub where everything get funneled through is great and also having a history of what's been done enables patterns to be seen. I also love the communication with my team and other employees. The user interface is also good.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are certain features throughout MaintainX that could be improved or added. But overall it does a great job and what I need it to do. They are often adding features and have a development road map.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team and I are able to be on the same page about work orders. Communication is good and there's less hour to hour questions which really helps free my time up.
Excellent Resource!
What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX is overall an excellent and efficient resource to organize and scheudle day to day projects and tasks. Im constantly updating and adding more information to the data base. Easy to use and very user friendly. Would recomend 10/10 . Customer support is on the ball when getting back to answering any questions asked.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to be able to create sperate folders under assests for when attaching files. (PM's, Overhauls, Repair Work Orders, etc.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staying on top of schedlued maintenace, and preventative maintenacne. Organizing and keeping staff busy with small day to day tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX is a full system, user friendly CMMS. Even your most technilogically challenged team members will be able to learn how to use their respective part of the program relatively quickly. The available training on the different features and tools is top tier and I especially use and appreciate the 24/7 chat line that can be accessed with the click of the mouse. The support team is responsive and thorough, and always provide great follow up on my questions to ensure they were resolved quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not many downsides to using MaintainX. If I could suggest a couple things for them to focus on developing it would be: 1. the ability to view and edit all assigned PM's to an asset from the asset page. and 2. a general location where Q&A videos can be accessed by anyone in an organization. To give an example; if a maintenance manager at another facility has an issue and MaintainX makes a video to help them resolve, it would benefit me to be able to look through a video library before needing to reach out to tech support. It would also be a great resource for training.

MaintainX helps to solve the gap in communication between organization and technician by providing an extensive procedure library where most any applicable PM's can be found.

This utility has completely transformed how maintenance, cleaning, and set up requests are handled and tracked at my business.
Centralizing all of these tasks, keeping accurate daily records, and the flexibility of MaintainX and it's many features are well worth the cost of start up. It will easily pay for itself within a year or two, and they are one of the most affordable options on the market.

The only hard part is getting the entire staff on board, and changing nearly half a century of learned habits.

There was no maintenance program or system in place to keep things clean and working. We have gone from 100% reactive tickets down to about 90%, and still working to flip that around.

What do you dislike about the product?
- no notes space to jot down ideas, list main tasks for the day
- I can't stress this enough - ADDING A PHOTO FROM MY PHONE REQUIRES AT MINIMUM 7 CLICKS - way more cumbersome than I want it to be. I will avoid making and updating work orders because I don't want to hassle with the photo uploading.
- Please let there be an option where instead of clicking add photo > myphotos > pickimageapp > select photo folder > select photo > Done > No edits > photo inserted....it will default return me to the last place I uploaded a photo from unless I select otherwise. For example, a camera icon to take a new photo, a folder icon to take me to my my photos folder in one click, and no having to hit the right arrow to approve the photo for upload. Edit could be an optional button.
- I need to often switch between two filters: my repeatables which are my preventive maint. tasks, and the current work orders for machines. To select a personal filter takes 6 clicks, and then if 5 min later I need to look at the other filter I have to again click 6 times. In the app view of work orders, next to the filter icon on the top right, I'd like if there was a small down arrowhead I could click to open a dropdown list of personal filters or pinned filters or favorite filters. Or even if when I clicked the filter icon, at the top of that n ew page that opens with all the filter options, if I could pin my saved filters to the top of that list.

Keeping instructions for preventive maint. & routine tasks standard. Ie how backwash the pool sand filters step by step

MaintianX has lowered my stress level completely.

The user friendly platform has changed the way we handle maintenance at our plants.

Inventory and downtime
Of all the CMMS programs I have used, MaintainX is by far the most user friendly I have found.

Ease of use and complete suite of tools.

Parent trees need to be deeper for my use.
