What do you dislike about the product?
We are a small business which predominantly use maintainx for food manufacturing and a little bit of wholesale.
We use it right from getting a purchase order from a customer, entering the job, all works associated with the work order. Pretty much everything apart from invoicing.
As well as using it to document all required paperwork for our food safety certificates.
I feel like with a few extra features maintainx could be alot more adaptable to the manufacturing/minor wholesale industry.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintainx has completely eliminated paper entries from our business.
We have done over 2500 work orders in 12 months, this correlates to 2500 paper entries that would have to be filed weekly, as well as being a nightmare to trace if anything was to go wrong.

Amazingly Useful Software Program
What do you like best about the product?
As part of the fleet management team for Kalos Services, we were looking for a program that would help us to better organize our fleet. Maintain X was our solution. It allows us to track our assets, create work orders for our fleet vehicles to schedule oil changes and other repairs. We can now keep much better track of the cost of the parts we are using as well as how much we are spending on maintenance per vehicle and per vendor. We can assign the different work orders to the techs together or individually, or not at all if we are just for tracking costs and it is not work for them to do, such as subletting repairs at another shop, or getting graphics put on our vehicles. It's extremely user friendly. We've also used it to create procedures for commissioning and decommissioning vehicles. Overall, our mechanics have found the software easy to use as well. Our representative for Maintain X, Cheryl, has been extremely helpful. She explains things very clearly and goes out of her way to make sure she answers any questions we have. We use this program every day, all throughout the workday. It's become an essential part of taking care of our fleet and carrying out procedures for better efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have some kind of interface with our company emails. When I'm scheduling vehicle maintenance appointments, I'd like to be able to send out an email from the scheduled work order to the company email of the driver, his supervisor, and his dispatcher, so that they can be better notified of the appointment, possibly even a reminder sent out a half hour or so before the appointment. Another thing is when we create a work order for commissioning a new fleet vehicle, for example, we cannot add multiple vendors to the same work order and have their costs tracked separately. It's only one vendor per work order. So, the work the mechanics do needs one work order such as inspection, making sure safety supplies are stocked up, etc., but if we have graphics put on the vehicle, it needs a separate work order with the costs attached to that particular vendor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintain X is allowing us to track costs that were going under the radar before, giving us a more detailed view of the vehicles we have as assets, as well as trailers, and creates work orders for our mechanics so they know exactly what they need to do. It has really made my job easier by bringing order, efficiency, and harmony to my workday.

the ease of use for me team. the features the software gives us. Having the maintainx team do the implementation was great. The customer service is top notch.

I have not found any thing i dislike about the software.

The software has helped streamline the process of our inventory and pm services.
So easy to use, it could get annoying.

I love how easy it is to use. The teachers have found the product easy and effective that we now get job requests for easy things. However the ability to message back through the program has saved a lot of steps. :)

With anything good, the more time you take to set up the easier it is to use, yet it still takes time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest issue that we use this forms to keep track of work orders. When, importance and how often.

The push for enterprise, but generally I have zero complaints

It has helped removed our assets, parts and repair history from someone brain and outlook calendar to a format where everyone associated to access the information
Affordable Platform that is very easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
The app for Maintain X on our phones is absolutly the best and super easy to use. Every function you need to communicate with your staff and requesters is so simple and smooth. The app works so well that our janitorial staff uses it as well. Complete package for our school accross the board.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only complaint I have and maybe I just don't know how to use it yet is the communication within the request. It would be nice to chat back and forth within the request with the requester especially when its in progress and something needs to be ordered or we are waiting for something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's platform helps me and my staff respond to everything with Maintenence and Janitorial in our school in a timly fashion with accurate detail of what needs to be done. It also provides a nice reminder of the things that need to be done on a regular basis too.

I would like to see more opportunity for in person training "boot" camps.

Has been very helpful in tracking machine downtime in real time.

User-Friendly Interface – Easy for staff at all levels to pick up quickly.

Preventive Maintenance – Keeps recurring tasks (like HVAC checks, vehicle servicing, and equipment inspections) on schedule, which prevents costly breakdowns.
A great introduction to our new work order system.
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about MaintainX for us has been the ease of use for our techs. It's been a game changer for us, because now our techs have the ability to pull up their work orders from their cell phones and update them in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest challenge we've had so far is the reporting feature. MaintainX has a lot of data available for you to review, but you have to narrow down in the reporting section to get very specific reports.

MaintainX has helped us solve our problem of inventory tracking. Before MaintainX, we really didn't track inventory at all, but their software's asset tracking has given us the ability to start this process.
