Great system for tracking work orders and cost tracking.
What do you like best about the product?
Easily entering work orders that need completed and closing them as they are complete. Tracking and reporting costs and what jobs were completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike. Some mundane manual entry at times, but what system is perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had no system to track work and what we need to bill to customers as a company. MaintainX has changed all of that.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ask a lot of questions to get better use of this system from the support group. Once I asked more questions I realized I wasn't maximizing their system. I learned more from my questions

Hard to find and list reoccurring PMs or reports

Easy tech data entry and work order resolution.

What do you like best about the product?
Tablet and phone app is easy to use. For the price has several features as reports, part inventory, schedule, etc. I tested some other software and this one integrates more features for a reasonable fee

I don't have any huge complaint but I would like to add more than 1 picture in procedures

Preventive maintenance tasks schedule, cost for maintenance and reporting
Recommendations to others considering the product:
First add all equipment information
Our facility went from paper/spreadsheet work orders to digital/tablet work orders.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease and ability to gather data quickly using the built in filters of MaintainX.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the filters there is an Assigned To, what would be nice is if there was a Completed By filter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Back to the first question was the data collection with the filters helped us put togather a Capital Project to replace an item that was causing issues.

What do you like best about the product?
I like getting notifications send directly to my phone. It's very organized as well. I like the filter feature. The software speed is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's always room for improvement. With that being said. I guess the app could be faster. And find better ways for the search tool

Maybe add serial number. For better search feature
Powerful but light
What do you like best about the product?
As an engineering storeman, I enjoy the flexibility and the sheer amount of data fields available for parts, I can search my own database by manufacturers part number or by machine or by storage lacation, everything is tied together beautifully. The ability to allocate a work order to multiple engineers is very useful and having photographs on all assets and work orders has come in handy too.
The procedure library has been a lifesaver too, though more customization in the fields on procedures would be fantastic.
Also producing PDF reports of literally anything on the system is a really useful tool as well.

What do you dislike about the product?
As with any system, it is only as good as the data that is entered and the requests received are sometimes very vague. The submitter should not be allowed to submit a request without specifying exactly where the problem is, and on what machinery, and also their name. We need to speak to the person who had the problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have over a years worth of breakdown data at our fingertips. We know how many spares to stock and on what machine, we know what the lead times will be.

Easy to use and very collaborative
What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX provides both web version and App version software to carry out all maintenance management tasks at our organization. Everything is easily accessible and outstanding. We have a team of 16 engineers and other 40+ staff, and everyone uses MaintainX to enter their job requests. All the asset and maintenance management history and data is kept in a controlled manner in MaintainX.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Everything is going smooth so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As explained, We are issuing all our maintenance jobs to engineers via MaintainX, a paperless app-based system. Users can provide complete data on assignment completion with photos and remarks. They can also upload files in most formats (PDF, JPG) to support job-related data.
Maintain X is a great company tool.

As I have been working very hard with MaintainX to create an excellent program for my company we have done so I have no complaints

Keeping tasks streamlined. Allow managers and supervisors to track work orders and tasks assigned to technician with detailed info and pictures to show progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment I have no complaints about the application it is easy to use very simple no complications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting better organized, being able to track meter readings digitally as opposed to our previous manual way of tracking meter readings. Assign repeating tasks to technicians to keep them on their toes so tasks always get done.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
To avoid persons not getting tasks done this is an exciting and professional way of getting your employees to get jobs done.

What do you like best about the product?
Really helpful managing spending and parts inventory also tracking how often a particular part fails. Its also helpful for on call maintenace with the requesting ability from user accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dont have any dislikes its a really great produck overall. The only thing I think that would make it better is the time tracker on the work orders. It would be nice if it automaticly started and stopped the time when the work order is started and when its completed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking maintenance cost including labor and parts inventory. This is where the timer adjustment would be handy, it eleminates user error which causes the labor cost to inflate throught the app.
