Great app for accountability and efficiency.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to upload photos, track progress and complete tasks without having to go back and forth between a computer and tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't many complaints here. If I could add anything it would be more advanced filters or search tools for work orders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MaintainX has been a great help for communication and accountability in my workplace.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it, the app is so easy to use and it gets the job done.
Simple and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to set up and configure. Easy to train users on creating and resolving work orders. The app works offline which makes it easy to work in areas with spotty wifi.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can assign work orders to people who aren't working. Would like a feature for people to check in that they are available to take requests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making people accountable for resolving work orders in a timely manner. Making sure employees are utilizing their time effectively.

You can add as many pictures and be as you want.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the inventory feature, you can not move the items to a holding middle holding place. Such as warehouse to truck, truck to house.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time management, By seeing pictures of what the maintenance team is doing we are catching things we would not have other wise.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the transparency that this app brought to our business. Prior to using it we were struggling with communication and organization, but no more.

What do you dislike about the product?
The difference in prices between the tier levels. While the basic service has many useful features, the highest level had more than we needed for 5 man team and some of those features would have been purchased if they were stand alone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With MaintainX we much more capability to track the work history of each location and the productivity of each worker and it's become a kind of competition to see who closed the most work orders for the week.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a must for a business with a lot of moving parts. I tested many of the other platforms and MaintainX beat them all in every aspect.
With MaintainX you can take a in depth look at exactly what's going on in your business or department right from your smart phone.
I've found that the more people we connect to the platform the more insight and transparency we have.

Great product!
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of assigning task issues. Scheduling and due dates are very helpful. But keeping constant communication about specific issues is the best feature beneficial to us.
What do you dislike about the product?
An added feature to enhance our business is the ability to invoice different vendors and departments directly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to keep asset specific issues organized and refer back when the same issue arises. This saves us tons of time and dollars spent tracing the history.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We started with basic then saw the benefits and added more services to our subscription. Try it.

Being able to go back and see old work orders on a location or asset.

The price of the premium maintainx package.

We are now able to document our locations and keep track of our battery test results to help us build a replacement plan.

Time and cost tracking has improved. Parts inventory is a great tool.

Price point for a CMMS product that exceeds most competitors, is bar none better. Ease of use and customer support is top notch.
MaintainX supercharged my maintenance team's ability to communicate and complete work
What do you like best about the product?
Automatic 2-factor authentication. Searching work orders on all fields in calendar, list, and preview formats. Ability to comment with pictures basically anywhere it makes sense to. Helpful suggestions to start timers, stop other timers, add preventive maintence... in general, very clever nudging throughout the application. Multiple assignement on work orders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot search on all fields in the inventory module. Looking up future repeatable work orders by asset is difficult, should be able to find future work orders by looking up the asset and looking at the work order tab for that asset. If a search is active in conjunction with active filters, somehow make it more obvious that there is an active search in addition to active filters, it's often easy to miss and can get inconvenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communications issues between shifts, lack of inventory management, inconsistent work request and work order processing, frequent outages of the current work request system resulting in drops in communication.

User friendly
What do you like best about the product?
The MaintainX app works flawlessly for us. Easy to use and navigate. Desktop version is great as well. Virtually no learning curve! I was a full user within one week.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I have come across that I have disliked. The only problem is getting the plant to buy into it, so to speak. It is designed to work for everyone, not just maintenance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are collecting data right now because we are relatively new and don't have any historical data to refer to. Also using it for our work order system and it is allowing us to complete tasks quickly.

Try it out. You will not be disappointed.
